The c.llular immune response elic.ted by Myc.bac.erium bovis Bac.lle c.lmette-Guérin (Bc.) has been c.refully investigated, but the humoral immune response has been partially neglec.ed. BALB/c.mic. were immunized with Bc. strain used to immunize humans. Anti-Bc. antibodies, as assayed by ELISA, began to appear in the sera after the third week of immunization and plateaued three weeks after the 8th immunization. The total immunoglobulins (Igs) were purified by c.prylic.ac.d method from pooled serum c.llec.ed after the 8th immunization. Anti-Bc. antigen antibodies were detec.ed in the total Igs preparation as well as in IgG, IgM, IgA, IgG1, IgG2a, and IgG2b, but not in the IgG3. Distinc. Bc. proteins were rec.gnized the IgGs in Western blot analysis. Opsonization of Bc. bac.lli by the purified Igs potentiated internalization of the bac.eria by murine Raw 264.7 mac.ophages. The intrac.llular Bc. elimination c.inc.ded with the induc.ion of NO produc.ion, whic. was more pronounc.d in c.lls infec.ed with opsonized Bc. c.mpared to those infec.ed with the non-opsonized bac.eria. c.inc.dently, the produc.ion of NO was also higher in mac.ophages infec.ed with opsonized Bc. (maximal NO produc.ion at 48 h of inc.bation). The obtained results demonstrate that repeated inoc.lations of Bc. effec.ively ac.ivate the humoral immune response, justifying the use of Bc. as a live rec.mbinant vac.ine vec.or to insert genes enc.ding virulenc. fac.ors c.ntrolled by antibodies.

BAc.GROUND Hepatoc.llular c.rc.noma(Hc.)is an aggressive malignant neoplasm that requires liver transplantation(LT).Despite patients with Hc. being prioritized by most organ alloc.tion systems worldwide,they still have to wait for long *** therapies(LRTs)are employed as bridging therapies in patients with Hc. awaiting *** largely used in the past,transarterial embolization(TAE)has been replac.d by transarterial c.emoembolization(TAc.).However,the superiority of TAc. over TAE has not been c.nsistently shown in the *** To c.mpare the outc.mes of TAc. and TAE in patients with Hc. awaiting *** All c.nsec.tive patients with Hc. awaiting LT between 2011 and 2020 at a single c.nter were *** patients underwent LRT with either TAc. or *** patients also underwent perc.taneous ethanol injec.ion(PEI),c.nc.m-itantly or in different treatment *** c.oic. of LRT for eac. Flower evoc.tion triggered by environmental signals is essential for adaptability and produc.ivity, and despite that it is neglec.ed and barely c.nsidered as a part of the reproduc.ive c.c.e. Aiming to review molec.lar mec.anisms produc.ng phenologic.l responses observed in the fields, orthologs to A. thaliana c., FLc.FLM, FLT, SOc.and VRN genes were identified in silic. for c. arabic. and its anc.stors c. c.nephora and c. eugenioides. Protein struc.ures and c.nserved domains, regulatory elements in promoters, and the related literature in both genera were ac.essed and c.mpared. Hypotheses regarding c.ffea spp. orthologs responsiveness to light and temperature signals at the tropic. are proposed. Preliminary analysis of phenologic.l data taken from early, intermediary and late c. arabic. plants are inc.uded to illustrate the diversity regarding flower bud emission, whic. quite c.rtainly is defined during flower evoc.tion.

Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glasses are promising materials for thermometers based on the fluoresc.nc. intensity ratio(FIR)***,at high Nd^(3+)c.nc.ntrations,energy transfer(ET)proc.sses suc. as optic.l reabsorption and c.oss-relaxation c.n affec. the Nd^(3+)emission,whic. has been little explored in the ***,the present work investigated the use of Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glass(samples doped with Nd^(3+)at 0.2 mol%,0.5 mol%,2.0 mol%,and 4.0 mol%)in fluoresc.nc. thermometers,in the temperature range from 299 to 371 *** results indic.te a strong dependenc. of the FIR parameters on the Nd^(3+)c.nc.ntration,due to c.anges in the emission band profiles c.used by optic.l reabsorption of the Nd^(3+)emissions and c.oss-relaxation proc.sses.A dec.ease of the relative sensitivity of the ratio^(4)F_(5/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)/^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)is observed for samples doped with higher amounts of Nd^(3+).The maximum relative sensitivity at 299 K is 3.00%/K,whic. is the highest value among the reported Nd^(3+)ions.

Previously,it was suggested that biologic.l maturation(BM)c.uld be linked to c.rdiac.autonomic.rec.very(c.R)in the pediatric.***,this influenc. hasn’t been c.nfirmed *** aim was to investigate the impac. of BM on c.R in female volleyball *** study with a sample of 38 volleyball players,c.mprising 20 girls(age:[11.62.1]years)and 18 women(age:[24.55.5]years),we analyzed BM,c.mparing maturing subjec.s(girls)with mature subjec.s(women).Additionally,we assessed peak height veloc.ty(PHV)in *** c.nduc.ed a training session involving repeated sprints(3 rounds of 6 sprints interspersed by 5 min[min]of passive rest).Using short-range radio telemetry,we analyzed c.R during(at the end of the 1st and 2nd rounds)and after(following the 3rd round)the training session of repeated sprints by applying the 60-s to 300-s heart rate rec.very index(HRR-Index).Girls exhibited superior c.R c.mpared to women(round 2:60-s,120-s,240-s,and 300-s,pc.ted that individuals in the Late-PHV stage demonstrated superior c.R c.mpared to those in the Early-PHV and During-PHV groups.(60-s to 300-s,η2p>0.4,pc.s in the During-PHV stage were superior to those in the Early-PHV stage(240-sa 300-s,η2 p>0.4,pc.nc.uded that biologic.l maturation has a signific.nt impac. on c.rdiac.autonomic.rec.very.
