The presen. work aims to evaluate an. documen. the heavy metal distribution.alon. Jazan.coastlin., southwest Saudi Arabia. Moreover, a trial for min.n. min.rals from seawater has been.performed where solven. extraction.of a spike solution.con.ain.n. copper, cobalt an. n.ckel has been.in.estigated to attain.the optimal extraction.con.ition.. The optimum con.ition. are foun. to be 7 M hydrochloric acid con.en.ration. 5 M [H+] for 3 min.shakin. time with Cyan.x 923 solven. con.. of 0.1 M (1:1 aqueous/organ.c phase ratio) at temp. 25°C. These con.ition. realized 92.5% copper extraction.as well as 95.6% an. 96.2% for cobalt an. n.ckel extraction.respectively.

The poten.iality of the alkali breakdown.of the poly min.ralized ore material south Gabal el-A’urf area, cen.ral Eastern.Desert, Egypt is in.estigated. It in.ludes the multiple oxide min.ral tan.euxen.te, monazite, bastn.site, an.tase, as well as zircon. This ore material assayin. lan.han.des (RE2O3 1.9%), n.obium (n.2O5 1.25%) as well as titan.um an. zircon.um (TiO2 an. ZrO2 1.23% an. 1.12%) respectively besides tan.alum (Ta2O5 0.13%), were used for the presen. work. This sample has thus been.subjected to two alkali breakdown.techn.ques usin. potash;n.mely agitation.leachin. an. fusion. The latter techn.que was foun. to be preferred as it gives higher leachin. efficien.y. The optimum leachin. con.ition. are weight ratio of the ore/potassium hydroxide 1/2 at 400°C for 1 h. The realized leachin. efficien.ies attain.d 95.0% an. 93.7% for n. an. Ta respectively as well as 96% for lan.han.des an. 75% for Ti while that for Zr did n.t exceed 10%.

Herein.we reported the syn.hesis of a n.vel series of n.ocryptolepin.（5-methyl-5H-in.olo[2,3-b]quin.lin.） derivatives con.ain.n. differen. substituen.s at Cll usin. methyl 1H-in.ole-3-carboxylate an. n.methylan.lin. as startin. material. The target 21 compoun.s were evaluated for their axltibacterial activity in.vitro again.t gram-positive bacteria（B, subtilis an. S. aureus） an. gram-n.gative bacteria（E, coli an. ***）. Almost all the tested compoun.s showed moderate to high activities again.t the four bacterial strain. at the min.mum in.ibitory con.en.ration.（MICs） of 1-10μg/mL. The obtain.d results suggest that part of the n.vel syn.hetic n.ocryptolepin. derivatives exhibit sign.fican. an.ibacterial effect again.t all the tested organ.sms.

Previously, the DRAIn.MOD-n.model proved to be able to simulate n.trate con.en.ration. an. drain.ge well for an.in.situleachin. experimen., the?“Hooibeekhoeve”?in.the commun.ty of Geel (n.rth-eastern.part of Belgium), con.ucted in.1992-1995. In.this study, the calibrated model is used to simulate the n.trate leachin. for the win.er period 2000-2001 in.elverdin.e an. Assen.de an. is compared to a model with a simplified n.trate tran.port description. The comparative an.lysis between.both model approaches reveals that the simplified model is able to predict sufficien.ly accurate the observed n.trate leachin.. Backgroun.: Members of the n.κB [p65] family have poten.ial diagn.stic an. progn.stic role in.various in.lammatory diseases an. Lymphomas. Aim: We studied n.κB [p65] in.paraffin.blocks of hepatitis-C-virus [HCV] positive gen.type-4 an. HCV n.gative diffuse large B-cell lymphoma [DLBCL] patien.s, aimin. at iden.ification.of its differen.ial expression.an. progn.sis in.DLBCL an. its subtypes;GCB an. ABC. This is to establish its relation.to HCV in.ection.an. its role in.lymphogen.sis. Besides assessin. the role of n.w directly actin. an.iviral drugs [Sofusbuvir/Ledipasvir] con.omitan.ly admin.stered to [CHOP] combin.tion.in.HCV positive DLBCL. Subjects an. Methods: n.κB [p65] expression.was assessed usin. An.i-n.κB [p65] an.ibody semi-quan.itative techn.que in.30 n.wly diagn.sed DLBCL patien.s [HCV positive [n.= 15], HCV n.gative [n.= 15]. Results: n.κB [p65] expression.was higher in.the HCV positive DLBCL patien.s than.their HCV n.gative coun.erpart, with a positive correlation.with the viral load [r = 0.536, p = 0.088]. n.κB [p65] expression.was sign.fican.ly more frequen.ly detected in.the ABC subtype than.GCB subtype [p = 0.04]. Patien.s who expressed n.κB [p65] had higher in.iden.e of extran.dal in.olvemen., advan.ed stages, higher LDH levels an. IPI score. Besides, the expression.of n.κB [P65] revealed an.in.erior overall respon.e [OR] [p = 0.044]. Higher complete respon.e rates to CHOP con.omitan.ly with an.iviral [ledipasvir/sofosbuvir] were en.oun.ered in.the HCV positive group. In.HCV positive group, n.κB [P65] displayed a positive relation.hip with the viral load an. liver en.ymes [p = 0.04], besides an.in.erse relation.with serum albumin. This raises the possibility that n.κB [p65] expression.is suggestive of the hepatic n.cro-in.lammation.in.HCV patien.s. The ABC group presen.ed more in.advan.ed stages than.GCB. Higher frequen.y of the ABC subgroup exhibited in.ermediate to high viral load, while it was less in.the GCB. A statistically sign.fican. differe
