Osteosarcoma is one of the rare bone cancers that affect the individualsaged between 10 and 30 and it incurs high death rate. Early diagnosisof osteosarcoma is essential to improve the survivability rate and treatmentprotocols. Traditional physical examination procedure is not only a timeconsumingprocess, but it also primarily relies upon the expert’s *** this background, the recently developed Deep Learning (DL) models canbe applied to perform decision making. At the same time, hyperparameteroptimization of DL models also plays an important role in influencing overallclassification performance. The current study introduces a novel symbioticOrganisms search with Deep Learning-driven Osteosarcoma Detection andClassification (sOsDL-ODC) model. The presented sOsDL-ODC techniqueprimarily focuses on recognition and classification of osteosarcoma usinghistopathological images. In order to achieve this, the presented sOsDL-ODCtechnique initially applies image pre-processing approach to enhance the qualityof image. Also, MobileNetv2 model is applied to generate a suitable groupof feature vectors whereas hyperparameter tuning of MobileNetv2 modelis performed using sOs algorithm. At last, Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU)technique is applied as a classification model to determine proper class *** order to validate the enhanced osteosarcoma classification performance ofthe proposed sOsDL-ODC technique, a comprehensive comparative analysiswas conducted. The obtained outcomes confirmed the betterment of sOsDLODCapproach than the existing approaches as the former achieved a maximumaccuracy of 97.73%.

We have studied the presence of novel inflammatory markers as soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (suPAR) and natural IgM antibodies directed against phosphorylcholine (αPC-IgM) in swedish diabetic patients (n = 164) and in healthy control subjects (n = 41). suPAR is expressed by several types of immune cells and has been shown to be a marker of disease severity and predict mortality during infections. It has also been associated with low-grade inflammation. High levels of αPC-IgM have been shown to negatively associate with the risk of cardiovascular disease and vascular inflammation. This has been suggested to be more common among diabetic patients than in the background population. The patients were 15-34 years of age and were included in the diabetes incidence study in sweden (DIss). They were all clinically diagnosed to have either T1D (n = 82) or T2D (n = 82). All subjects were matched in gender and age. Commercially available ELIsA was used to detect suPAR and αPC-IgM. We found that suPAR levels were higher in diabetic patients (n = 164, Q2 = 4.5 mg/L) compared to in healthy control subjects (n = 41, Q2 = 2.7 mg/L;p 2 = 4.9) compared to in patients classified with T1D (n = 82;p=0.0002). The difference between T2D and T1D was even more obvious when LADA (n = 17) was extracted from the T2D group. suPAR levels did also correlate with BMI (rs = 0.50;p s = 0.23;p s = 0.58;p s of αPC-IgM did not significantly differ between patients and controls. This is the first study to show the difference in suPAR levels between T1D and T2D patients. The high levels of suPAR in T2D patients indicate a strong activation of the immune system and its relation to disease progression needs to be further investigated. However, our data do not support a role for αPC-IgM in the development of diabetes.

As a result of agriculture practices, million tons of agriculture are produced as a secondary or by-products; however, with low nutritive values. Many methods are applied to improve the nutritive value and increase its utilization in ruminant＇s nutrition. The biological treatments are the most common with more safe-treated products. In most cases, the biological treatments are paralleled with decreased crude fiber and fiber fractions content with increased crude protein content. Direct-fed microbial and exogenous enzymes to animal are other ways of biological methods for improving nutritive value of feeds. Here in this review, we will try to cover the biological treatments of by-products from different sides view with different types of animals and different animal end-products.

Optical information transfer through random unknown diffusers using electronic encoding and diffractive decoding

Free-space optical information transfer through diffusive media is critical in many applications, such as biomedical devices and optical communication, but remains challenging due to random, unknown perturbations in the optical path. We demonstrate an optical diffractive decoder with electronic encoding to accurately transfer the optical information of interest, corresponding to, e.g., any arbitrary input object or message, through unknown random phase diffusers along the optical path. This hybrid electronic-optical model, trained using supervised learning, comprises a convolutional neural network-based electronic encoder and successive passive diffractive layers that are jointly optimized. After their joint training using deep learning,our hybrid model can transfer optical information through unknown phase diffusers, demonstrating generalization to new random diffusers never seen before. The resulting electronic-encoder and optical-decoder model was experimentally validated using a 3D-printed diffractive network that axially spans s the illumination wavelength in the terahertz spectrum, carrying the desired optical information through random unknown diffusers. The presented framework can be physically scaled to operate at different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum, without retraining its components, and would offer low-power and compact solutions for optical information transfer in free space through unknown random diffusive media.

In this paper, A Novel stochastic Algorithm using Pythagorean means for minimization of the objective function is described. The algorithm is initially tested with Rastrigin’s function and compared with Genetic algorithm results for the function with the same initial conditions. After this, it is used in tuning the gains of fuzzy PD + I controller for trajectory control of PUMA 560 robot manipulator. The results are again verified with the results of genetic algorithm.

Background:Population-based studies on the determinants of COVID-19 seroprevalence constitute a cornerstone in guiding appropriate preventive *** studies are scarce in Egypt,thus we conducted this study to explore risk factors for sARs-CoV-2 ***:This survey included 2919 participants from 10 Egyptian *** were tested for sARs-CoV-2 spike(s)and nucleocapsid(N)*** and multivariate analyses were performed to identify associated factors and predictors of seropositivity regarding sociodemographic factors,clinical data,and personal practices of participants.A subgroup analysis was performed to investigate the occupational risks of ***:seropositivity was recorded in 1564 participants(53.6%).Independent predictors of seropositivity in-cluded non-smokers(aOR=1.817;95%CI:1.407-2.346,p=0.000),having blood group A(aOR=1.231;95%CI:1.016-1.493,p=0.034),a history of COVID-19 infection(aOR=2.997;95%CI:2.176-4.127,p=0.000),COVID-19 vaccination(aOR=4.349;95%CI:2.798-6.759,p=0.000),higher crowding index(aOR=1.229;95%CI:1.041-1.451,p=0.015),anosmia and/or ageusia(aOR=3.453;95%CI:2.661-4.481,p=0.000)and history of fever(aOR=1.269;95%CI:1.033-1.560,p=0.023).Healthcare worker and Obesity/overweight were additional significant predictors of seropositivity among the working participants(aOR=1.760;95%CI:1.301-2.381,p=0.000 and aOR=1.384;95%CI:1.059-1.808,p=0.019,respectively).Additional factors showing association with seropositivity in the univariate analysis were:female gender,age group(15-39 years),higher educational level(preparatory and above),lack of environmental disinfection and having roommates at the *** was a positive correlation between the titers of both *** was weakly corre-lated with anti-s titer,while anti-N was significantly correlated with the number of protective measures applied by the *** antibodies were significantly correlated with adult BMI,while both we

We report a case of a rare sporadic Vestibular schwannoma of a 9-month-old girl who had a right-sided lower motor type facial nerve palsy. The patient was initially diagnosed with Bell’s palsy and received steroid treatment accordingly, two months later the patient’s condition deteriorated, and further evaluation of CT and MRI brain was conducted that showed a mass lesion in the posterior fossa causing compression on the facial nerve. Misdiagnosis of facial nerve paralysis is common among children due to multiple related etiologies and varying rates of incidence in comparison to adults. The authors hope to address this issue in this report. Background: Facial nerve paralysis has been a matter of concern for many researchers to understand its nature, causes and presentation according to different age groups. In adults, Bell’s palsy (BP), the idiopathic form of facial nerve paralysis, is more common compared to children where most cases are due to secondary etiologies. Therefore, pediatricians are in an important position to identify these patients early in order to launch the most effective diagnostic and treatment approaches.

Background: Hepatic tumors with complex vascular supply or poor relative perfusion are prone to decreased rates of objective response. This is compounded in the setting of Yttrium-90(Y90) transarterial radioembolization(TARE), which is minimally embolic and flow-dependent, relying on high threshold dose for complete ***: We describe our experience with intrahepatic flow diversion(FD) prior to TARE of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) with challenging vascular *** and methods: Between April 2014 and January 2020, 886 cases of coinciding MAA or TARE and bland embolization or temporary occlusion were *** embolizations performed for more routine purposes were excluded. FD was performed by bland embolization or temporary occlusion of vessels supplying non-malignant parenchyma in cases where flow was not preferential to target tumor. Lesion characteristics, vascular supply, treatment approach, angiography, and adverse events(AEs) were reviewed. Radiographic response was assessed using mRECIsT ***: 22 cases of FD of focal HCC were identified. Embolics included calibrated microspheres(n = 11), microcoils(n = 4), gelfoam(n = 3), temporary balloon occlusion(n = 2) and temporary deployment of a microvascular plug(n = 1). Post-treatment sPECT-CT dosimetry coverage was concordant with target lesions in all cases. Mean follow-up was 16.7 months(1.4–45 mos). Tumor-specific response per m RECIsT was 41% complete response, 50% objective response, and 59% disease control rate. No major adverse events or grade 3/4 hepatotoxicity were ***: Our findings suggest that FD prior to TARE is safe and potentially effective in treating HCC with complex vascular supply or poor tumor perfusion.
