B-DRIVE:A blockchain based distributed Iot network for smart urban transportation

In this paper,I present B-DRIVE—a blockchain-based distributed Iot(Internet of things)network for smart urban *** network is designed to connect a large fleet of Iot devices,installed on various vehicles and roadside infrastructures,to distributed data storage centers,called as Full-Nodes,to log and disseminate sensor generated *** connects devices from around the city to multiple Full-Nodes to log timestamped data into the *** sensors vary from GPS(Global Positioning System),air quality meter,gyrometer to speed cameras in order to facilitate efficient urban *** three identified hardware layers that comprise the network are the Iot layer,Storage layer,and User *** consist of Moving/Static-Nodes,Full-Nodes,and Smart devices,*** Moving/Static-Nodes are primarily made up of moving vehicles and road-side infrastructures,respectively,thus acting as various data ***,Full-Nodes and Smart devices are institutions and mobile phones,acting as data handler/disseminator and navigator/data visualizer,*** data,or data blocks,received by Full-Nodes get appended into Full and Running-Blockchain,meant for specific *** network is designed to be free from any block mining *** provides open access to anonymous sensor data to end-users,especially scientists,policy-makers and entrepreneurs,to develop innovative urban transportation *** is believed that a system like B-DRIVE,along with existing VANEts(Vehicular Ad-hoc NEtworks),is capable of answering some of the current urban transportation issues around traffic congestion,navigation,and vehicle *** applications of blockchain data could vary from user activity mapping to VGI(volunteered geographic information)data quality *** identified limitations of the presented architecture are the low processing power of current Iot devices and the lack of urban Iot infrastructure.

Impact of Ursodeoxycholic Acid on Gall Stone Formation Post Bariatric Surgery

Introduction: Bariatric surgery is identified as highly effective therapy for obesity and help to loss wight that is become important public health priority because it increases the risk of condition including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and several types of cancer whether by accomplishing mini-gastric bypass, Gastric bypass (Roux-en-Y) and sleeve gastrectomy [1] rapid weight loss increased incidence risk of gall stone formation [2]. Ursodeoxycholic acid is a bile acid which affect a reduction in cholesterol in biliary fluid primary by dispersing the cholesterol and forming a liquid-crystal phase [2], it’s can play a significant role in preventing of gall stone formation. Objective: Study potential effect of Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) on gall stone formation after bariatric surgery. Methods: this study Cross-sectional trials, review of all patient underwent bariatric surgery November 2021-Jun 2022, taif Military Hospital in the department of surgery, the sample of study will be around 143 participants or more, data collection all patient underwent bariatric surgery. Results: A total of 160 patients underwent bariatric surgery in taif Armed Forces Hospitals from 2015 to 2021. Of these, 53 were male (33.1%) and 107 were female (66.9%). only 33 patients (20.6%) received Ursodeoxycholic acid, and 127 patients (79.4%) weren’t proscribed for them. However, 40 patients (25%) develop gall stone and underwent cholecystectomy, three of them were on Ursodeoxycholic acid (9%) and 37 patients weren’t on Ursodeoxycholic acid (29%). which shows that Ursodeoxycholic acid remarkable reduce the risk of gall stone formation post wight reduction surgery. Conclusion: In conclusion, bariatric procedures come with the risk of leading to the formation of gallstones. this is especially in the stage when a patient experiences rapid loss of weight. this is why a preventive measure is necessary and UDCA have been considered for this purpose. this study has shown that patients who use UD

Phishing attacks are security attacks that do not affect only individuals’or organizations’websites but may affect Internet of things(Iot)devices and *** environment is an exposed environment for such *** may use thingbots software for the dispersal of hidden junk emails that are not noticed by *** and deep learning and other methods were used to design detection methods for these ***,there is still a need to enhance detection *** of an ensemble classiﬁcation method for phishing website(PW)detection is proposed in this study.A Genetic Algo-rithm(GA)was used for the proposed method optimization by tuning several ensemble Machine Learning(ML)methods parameters,including Random Forest(RF),AdaBoost(AB),XGBoost(XGB),Bagging(BA),GradientBoost(GB),and LightGBM(LGBM).these were accomplished by ranking the optimized classi-ﬁers to pick out the best classiﬁers as a base for the proposed method.A PW data-set that is made up of 4898 PWs and 6157 legitimate websites(LWs)was used for this study's *** a result,detection accuracy was enhanced and reached 97.16 percent.

In tube Condensation:Changing the Pressure Drop into a temperature Difference for a Wire-on-tube Heat Exchanger

A theoretical study based on the Penalty factor(PF)method by Cavallini et *** conducted to show that the pressure drop occurring in a wire-on-tube heat exchanger can be converted into a temperature difference for two types of refrigerants R-134a and R-600a typically used for charging refrigerators and *** following conditions are considered:stratiﬁed or stratiﬁed-wavyﬂow condensation occurring inside the smooth tube of a wire-on-tube condenser with diameter 3.25,4.83,and 6.299 mm,condensation temperatures 35℃,45℃,and 54.4℃ and cover refrigerant massﬂow rate spanning the interval from 1 to 7 kg/*** results show that the PF variation is not linear with vapor quality and attains a maximum when the vapor quality is 0.2 and 0.18 for the R-134a and R-600a refrigerants,*** PF increases with the refrigerant massﬂow rate if the inner diameter and saturation temperature constant,and it decreases on increasing the inner diameter to 6.299 mm for constant refrigerant massﬂow rate and saturation *** PF for R-600a is higher than that for R-134a due to the lower saturation pressure in theﬁrst ***,a stratiﬁedﬂow produces higher PF in comparison to the annularﬂow due to the effect of the surface tension.

Effects of γ-irradiation and Deformation temperature on tensile Properties of Pb-2 mass% Sb Alloy

Effects ofγ-irradiation and deformation temperature（t）on the tensile properties of Pb-2mass% Sb alloys were *** samples were annealed at 458 Kfor 2hin air,then water quenched after they wereγ-irradiated（the different doses were 0.5,1.0,1.5,and 2.0 MGy）.the tensile properties were performed using stress-strain measurements at a constant strain rate（1.2×10^（-3） s^（-1））and at different t（303-393K）.It was found that at constant dose,the fracture stress（σF）decreases while the fracture strain（εF）increases as *** particular t,σFincreases whileεFdecreases with increasing *** strain-hardening exponent（n）,which is the slope of the relation between ln（σ）and ln（ε）of the parabolic part of the stress-strain curve,was determined and its values increase as tincreases and decrease as the dose *** value of the activation energy increases as the dose increases from 0.07 eV for un-irradiated sample to 0.1eV for the 2 MGy-irradiated *** values are in accordance with that needed for dislocation movement and ordering *** interpretation of the results was given,based on the creation of point and line defects due toγ-irradiation,and that results in a distribution of beta phase（Sb-phase）,leading to a difficulty in the movement of dislocations,so there is an increase in alloy hardness.

Adaptive mesh refinement immersed boundary method for simulations of laminar flows past a moving thin elastic structure

One of the critical issues in numerical simulation of fluid-structure interaction problems is inaccuracy of the solutions,especially for flows past a stationary thin elastic structure where large deformations *** resolution is required to capture the flow characteristics near the fluid-structure interface to enhance accuracy of the solutions within proximity of the thin deformable ***,in this work,an algorithm is developed to simulate fluid-structure interactions of moving deformable structures with very thin *** this algorithm,adaptive mesh refinement(AMR)is integrated with immersed boundary finite element method(IBFEM)with two-stage pressure-velocity *** successive interpolation of the flow field by IBM,the governing equations were solved using a fixed structured mesh,which significantly reduces the computational time associated with mesh *** cut-cell IBM is used to predict the body forces while FEM is used to predict deformation of the thin elastic structure in order to integrate the motions of the fluid and solid at the *** is used to discretize the governing equations and obtain solutions that efficiently capture the thin boundary layer at the fluid-solid *** AMR-IBFEM algorithm is first verified by comparing the drag coefficient,lift coefficient,and Strouhal number for a benchmark case(laminar flow past a circular cylinder at Re=100)and the results showed good agreement with those of other *** algorithm is then used to simulate 2-D laminar flows past stationary and moving thin structures positioned perpendicular to the freestream *** results also showed good agreement with those obtained from the arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian(ALE)algorithm for elastic thin *** is concluded that the AMR-IBFEM algorithm is capable of predicting the characteristics of laminar flow past an elastic structure with acceptable accuracy(error of-0.02%)with only-1%of the computati

In this study,we attempted to characterise the effects of date-palm fibre(DPF)and a date-palm fibre/sheep wool hybrid in polyester to enhance high-performance and low-cost composite materials that can be used in insulation building systems,automotive parts,and home *** DPF was treated using 5%NaOH solution;and the sheep wool was cleaned with 50℃hot water and *** composite specimens were prepared with different fibre contents(0%,10%,20%,30%(w))using a compression moulding *** effect of fibre reinforcement was analysed in terms of the mechanical properties(tensile,flexural,impact,and hardness)and composite ***,scanning electron microscopy(SEM)was performed on the fibres before and after treatment,and the fractured surfaces of all composite specimens were examined after tensile *** results showed that the 20%DPF/sheep wool hybrid reinforced polyester produced the best *** ultimate tensile strength and modulus were 27 MPa and 3.69GPa,*** ultimate flexural strength and flexural modulus were 35.4 and 2507 MPa,*** impact strength was 39.5 kJ/m^(2)and the hardness was 64 *** density decreased to the lowest value of 1.02 g/cm^(3)with the 30%DPF/sheep wool *** SEM showed good adhesion and interfacial bonding between DPF/sheep wool hybrid fibres and the polyester matrix,particularly at 20%fibre content.
