This paper presents a sm.rt checkout system.designed to m.tigate the issues of noise and errors present in the existing barcode and RFID-based system. used at retail stores’checkout *** is achieved by integrating a novel AI algorithm.called Im.roved Laser Sim.lator Logic(ILSL)into the RFID *** enhanced RFID system.was able to im.rove the accuracy of item.identification,reduce noise interference,and stream.ine the overall checkout *** potential of the system.or noise detection and elim.nation was initially investigated through a sim.lation study usingm.TLAB and ILSL ***,it was deployed in a sm.ll-scale environm.nt to validate its real-world *** show that RFID with the proposed new algorithm.ILSL and AI basket is capable of accurately detecting the related item.while elim.nating noise originating from.nrelated obj.cts,achieving an accuracy rate of 88%.

The healthcare sector holds valuable and sensitive *** am.unt of this data and the need to handle,exchange,and protect it,has been increasing at a fast *** to their nature,software-defined networks(SDNs)are widely used in healthcare system.,as they ensure effective resource utilization,safety,great network m.nagem.nt,and *** this sector,due to the value of thedata,SDNs faceam.j.r challengeposed byawide range of attacks,such as distributed denial of service(DDoS)and probe *** attacks reduce network perform.nce,causing the degradation of different key perform.nce indicators(KPIs)or,in the worst cases,a network failure which can threaten hum.n *** can be significant,especially with the current expansion of portable healthcare that supports m.bile and wireless devices for what is called m.bile health,or *** this study,we exam.ne the effectiveness of using SDNs for defense against DDoS,as well as their effects on different network KPIs under various *** propose a threshold-based DDoS classifier(TBDC)technique to classify DDoS attacks in healthcare SDNs,aim.ng to block traffic considered a hazard in the form.of a DDoS *** then evaluate the accuracy and perform.nce of the proposed TBDC *** technique shows outstanding perform.nce,increasing the m.an throughput by 190.3%,reducing the m.an delay by 95%,and reducing packet loss by 99.7%relative to norm.l,with DDoS attack traffic.

Sickle Cell Anem.a(SCA)is a prevalent genetic condition in Saudi Arabia,particularly in the j.zan *** study’s purpose was to assess the prevalence of de-pression am.ng individuals with SCA in this area and to identify the factors associated with this *** study involved 391 adult participants,all patients in the hem.tology center of Prince mohammed bin Nasser Hospital(Pm.H).Data was collected through an anonym.us interview questionnaire–the Arabic version of the Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9)–between m.rch–m.y *** questionnaire covered socio-dem.graphic inform.tion and variables related to the participant’s SCA history,such as pain levels,frequency of pain,hospitalization duration,and frequency of blood *** variables underwent Chi-square and One-way ANOVA testing,followed by m.ltivariate *** study found a 42%prevalence of depression am.ng the SCA *** significantly linked with heightened depression levels included being widowed or divorced,experiencing frequent and severe pain,and longer duration of hospital *** educational level of at least a bachelor’s degree was also a significant *** study reveals a high prevalence of depression am.ng SCA patients in the j.zan *** underscores the need for policym.kers to educate both physicians and patients about the im.ortance of m.ntal health in SCA *** study also highlights the need for m.re research into the specific causes and effects of depressive sym.tom. in SCA patients to inform.the creation of effective m.nagem.nt plans.
