Networks provide a significant function in everyday life,and cybersecurity therefore developed a critical field of *** Intrusion detection system(IDS)becoming an essential information protection strategy that tracks the situation of the software and hardware operating on the *** advancements of growth,current intrusion detection systems also experience difficulties in enhancing detection precision,growing false alarm levels and identifying suspicious *** order to address above mentioned issues,several researchers concentrated on designing intrusion detection systems that rely on machine learning *** learning models will accurately identify the underlying variations among regular information and irregular information with incredible *** intelligence,particularly machine learning methods can be used to develop an intelligent intrusion detection *** in this article in order to achieve this objective,we propose an intrusion detection system focused on a Deep extreme learning machine(DELM)which first establishes the assessment of safety features that lead to their prominence and then constructs an adaptive intrusion detection system focusing on the important *** the moment,we researched the viability of our suggested DELMbased intrusion detection system by conducting dataset assessments and evaluating the performance factors to validate the system *** experimental results illustrate that the suggested framework outclasses traditional *** fact,the suggested framework is not only of interest to scientific research but also of functional importance.

Ovarian vein thrombosis (OVT) is a rare thrombotic condition commonly attributed to the puerperium. The complications of OVT can be significant, and diagnosis relies on a high clinical index of suspicion. It can occur with lower quadrant pain that may mimic a surgical abdomen, especially in the setting of recent pregnancy, abdominal surgery, inflammatory disease, or malignancy. Diagnosis can be made with confidence using ultrasound, computed tomography, or magnetic resonance imaging. Management of OVT is particularly important in postpartum patients, with anticoagulation therapy being the treatment of choice.

Gas/water foams stabilized with a newly developed anionic surfactant for gas mobility control applications

Carbon dioxide(CO2) flooding is one of the most globally used EOR processes to enhance oil ***,the low gas viscosity and density result in gas channeling and gravity override which lead to poor sweep *** application for mobility control is a promising technology to increase the gas viscosity,lower the mobility and improve the sweep efficiency in the *** is generated in the reservoir by co-injection of surfactant solutions and *** there are many surfactants that can be used for such purpose,their performance with supercritical CO2(ScCO2) is weak causing poor or loss of mobility *** experimental study evaluates a newly developed surfactant(CNF) that was introduced for ScCO2 mobility control in comparison with a common foaming agent,anionic alpha olefin sulfonate(AOS) *** work was divided into three stages:foam static tests,interfacial tension measurements,and foam dynamic *** surfactants were investigated at different *** general,results show that both surfactants are good foaming agents to reduce the mobility of ScCO2 with better performance of CNF *** tests in the presence of crude oil show that the foam life for CNF extends to more than 24 h but less than that for ***,CNF features lower critical micelle concentration(CMC),higher adsorption,and smaller area/molecule at the liquid-air ***,entering,spreading,and bridging coefficients indicate that CNF surfactant produces very stable foam with light crude oil in both deionized and saline water,whereas AOS was stable only in deionized *** all conditions for mobility reduction evaluation,CNF exhibits stronger flow resistance,higher foam viscosity,and higher mobility reduction factor than that of AOS *** addition,CNF and ScCO2 simultaneous injection produced 8.83% higher oil recovery than that of the baseline experiment and 7.87% higher than that of *** drop profiles

Comparisons of corrosion behaviour for X65 and low Cr steels in high pressure CO2-saturated brine

Appropriate materials for injection pipelines and tubing for carbon dioxide geologic storage is fundamental to ensure asset integrity and save *** paper evaluates the corrosion behaviour of X65,1Cr,3Cr and 5Cr,which have the potential to be injection pipeline/tubing *** influence of steel Cr content on the general and localised corrosion behaviour was investigated at time periods from 6 to 192 h at 60℃and 100 *** evolution,morphology and chemistry of corrosion products on the surface of each material were evaluated using a combination of scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction and related to their overall corrosion *** indicate that prior to the formation of protective films on the steel surfaces,the resistance of the materials to corrosion increase with increasing Cr content(Corrosion resistance:X65however,as corrosion products evolve,the protection afforded to the different steels significantly varies and decreases with increasing Cr content.×65 becomes the material with the lowest general corrosion rate by the end of the 192 h experiments and 5Cr exhibits the highest corrosion rate(ranking of corrosion resistance:X65>1Cr>3Cr>5Cr).In terms of the corrosion products on X65,both inner amorphous and outer crystalline corrosion layers consist of *** the Cr-containing steels,the outer layer also comprises FeCO3,but the inner layer is enriched with Cr,and is predominantly amorphous Cr(Oh)*** extent of localised corrosion(determined using surface profilometry)is noticeably less for X65 compared to the Cr-containing *** paper raises questions about the benefits that low Cr steels offer towards extending component design life compared to carbon steel under the test conditions considered here.

BACKGROUND Sudden death is unanticipated,non-violent death taking place within the first 24 h after the onset of *** is a major public health problem ***,the effects of living at moderate altitude on mortality are poorly *** To retrospectively report the frequency and the main causes of sudden deaths in relation to total deaths at Asir Central hospital,2255 m above sea level,in the southern region of Saudi Arabia over a period of 4 years from 2013 to *** The medical records of 1821 deaths were examined and showed 353 cases(19.4%)of sudden *** The highest incidence of sudden death was among the elderly(51%),whereas,the lowest was among children and adolescents(6.5%).With regard to gender,the incidence of sudden death was higher in males(54.4%)compared to 45.6% in *** this study,we found that the most common direct causes of sudden death were cardiovascular diseases(29.2%),respiratory disease(22.7%),infectious disease(12.2%),cancer(9.4%)and hematological diseases(6.2%).With respect to seasonal variation,the highest incidence was during winter(31.32%)followed by summer(25.8%).CONCLUSION The results of this study will help emergency physicians and health care providers to exercise due care to reduce the incidence of sudden death and raise public awareness about the impact of sudden death.

Effects of Carpobrotus edulis Extract on Oxidative Stress and 158N Oligodendrocyte Death

Objective Age-related diseases, including neurodegenerative diseases, are associated with oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation, and increase the levels of cholesterol auto-oxidation products such as 7β-hydroxycholesterol(7β-OhC). Thus, it is imperative to identify agents that can prevent 7β-OhC-induced side-effects. Methods We evaluated the potential protective effects of Carpobrotus edulis ethanol-water extract(EWe) on murine oligodendrocytes(158 N) cultured in the absence or presence of 7β-OhC(20 μg/mL, 24 h). The cells were incubated with EWe(20-200 μg/mL) 2 h before 7β-OhC treatment. Mitochondrial activity and cell growth were evaluated with the MTT assay. Photometric methods were used to analyze antioxidant enzyme [catalase(CAT) and glutathione peroxidase(GPx)] activities and the generation of lipid and protein oxidation products [malondialdehyde(MDA), conjugated diene(CD), and carbonylated proteins(CPs)]. Results Treatment with 7β-OhC induced cell death and oxidative stress(reflected by alteration in CAT and SOD activities). Overproduction of lipid peroxidation products(MDA and CDs) and CPs was also reported. The cytotoxic effects associated with 7β-OhC were attenuated by 160 μg/mL of EWe of C. edulis. Cell death induced by 7β-OhC treatment was ameliorated, GPx and CAT activities were restored to normal, and MDA, CD, and CP levels were reduced following C. edulis extract treatment. Conclusion These data demonstrate the protective activities of C. edulis EWe against 7β-OhC-induced disequilibrium in the redox status of 158 N cells, indicative of the potential role of this plant extract in the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases.

Objective:To determine the lead bioactive compound in kernel extract of Mangifera pajang and its anti-cancer activity against human breast cancer cell lines with positive estrogen receptor(MCF-7).Methods:The methanolic extract of dried powder kernel of Mangifera pajang was exposed to column chromatography for *** structural elucidation of the isolated compound was characterized using infrared,nuclear magnetic resonance,mass ***,cytotoxicity,morphological changes,flow cytometry and cell cycle arrest analyses were performed to examine the mechanism of anti-proliferation and apoptosis induced by methyl gallate against ***:One compound was isolated from the methanolic extract of Mangifera pajang kernel and identified as methyl *** flow cytometric results demonstrated induction of apoptosis in MCF-7 cells by three concentrations of methyl *** cell cycle arrest showed a significant(Phase of MCF-7 after treatment with 100μM of methyl *** cell percentage of early and late apoptosis was significant at 10 and 100μM of methyl ***,methyl gallate treatment induced up-regulation of reactive oxygen species levels in MCF-7 cells with a reduction in superoxide dismutase ***:These findings indicate that isolated methyl gallate from Mangifera pajang kernel extracts induces growth inhibition and apoptosis in MCF-7 cells via up-regulating oxidative stress pathway.
