Equivalence of String Classical and Quantum Energy beside Equivalence of Wave Packet and Relativistic Velocity in Eucleadian and Curved Space

Plank quantum and classical string energy relations seem to be uncorrelated. This work correlated them. The relativistic energy-momentum relation has been used together with plank and de Brogglie hypothesis to prove that the wave group velocity is equal to the particle velocity in both ordinary and curved space. The plank energy relation is shown also to be related to the classical energy relation of an oscillating string. Starting from plank energy relation for n photons and performing integration, the expression of classical string energy was obtained. This means that one can treat electromagnetic waves as a collection of continuous photons having frequencies ranging from zero to w. Conversely, starting from classical string energy relation by differentiating it with respect to angular frequency, the plank quantum energy for n photons has been found. This means that the quanta results from separation of electromagnetic waves to single isolated waves. Each wave consists of n photons or quanta.

Explanation of Magnetic Destruction of Superconductor Using Schrodinger Equation in the Energy Space

The Wave function of Schrodinger Equation is expressed in terms of time dependent energy eigen function and spatial dependent wave function in the energy space, which gives spatial energy probability. This equation is utilized to find quantum momentum dependent on temperature. This in turn is used to find quantum complex resistance. This expression shows that the superconducting resistance vanishes for temperatures less than a certain critical value. This result conforms to superconductor conventional theory and empirical relations. The application of external magnetic field destroys superconductivity when its strength exceeds a certain critical value. The expression of the relationship between the critical magnetic field and the critical temperature is typical to the conventional one. This is the first time to obtain the conventional relationship for the superconductor’s resistance and critical magnetic field in one model in the energy space.

Empty Sella Syndrome: A Case Report and Literature Review

An empty sella occurs due to herniation of the arachnoid through an incompetent diaphragma sellae. Over time, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pulsations may enlarge the sella and compress the gland against the floor of the sella. Empty sella syndrome is considered as a less common entity and is usually asymptomatic and an incidental finding. However, it can be a manifestation of increased intracranial pressure and can be occasionally severe. Compression of the pituitary gland may affect function, or traction on the optic chiasm and nerves may cause visual symptoms. An empty sella may be classified as primary when this occurs in persons who have not received pituitary radiation or pituitary surgery, while an empty sella discovered following such procedures is classified as secondary empty sella. In this report, we presented a 41-year-old multiparous patient who presented to us with symptoms of headache and left sided hemi-sensory disturbance. Examination was unrevealing except for the fact that she was obese. On evaluation, she was detected to have impaired blood sugars, dyslipidemia and vitamin insufficiency. MRI brain revealed presence of Empty Sella. Further hormonal analysis was normal. She was treated conservatively and regular follow-up was advised.

Single Wall Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNTs) as (i) Type in the Photovoltaic Cell of Nano-Dimensions

In this paper, a new modified approach to design the photovoltaic cell has been presented by adding Single Wall Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNTs) as type (i). The main issue is to increase the efficiency of the photovoltaic cell, on the other hand, to exploit a larger range of electromagnetic wave frequencies, specifically a range within terahertz (THz) frequency domain, using 3D EM computer simulation technology (CST). It is clear in the normal PV cell start working at frequency of 500 THz, while the frequency at which the PV cell with SWCNTs operates is much less and it is close to zero, on the other hand, the PV cell with SWCNTs needs a larger cross-section area of 2800 nm2 to operate at frequency of 500 THz. This cell can be easily produced industrially, which means increases the efficiency of solar cell.

Risk Stratification Treatment of Pediatric Rhabdomyosarcoma: South Egypt Cancer Institute Experience

Risk stratification allows tailoring of treatment protocol using, for selected patients, reduced total chemotherapy exposure, including decreases in alkylator therapy and avoidance of agents with recognized risk of late complications (anthracyclines), elimination of irradiation and reduction of radiotherapy dose. Patients and Methods: Twenty-nine newly diagnosed pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma patients attended the pediatric oncology department between January 2008 and May 2011. Patients were divided into 3 groups according to age, stage, group, pathology and site of the tumor. Treatment protocol tailored according to risk group. Results: Twenty-nine newly diagnosed pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma patients were evaluated. Seven patients had low risk, Intermediate risk included 12 patients, and 10 patients had high risk. After three years median follow up, event free survival was 51.7% for all patients however it was 86%, 67% and 10% for low, intermediate and high risk respectively (P = 0.0002). There was statistical difference for survival among different sites, histology, clinical group and stage as risk factors within each risk group, no statistically survival significance of any of these factors within the same risk group. Conclusion: Risk stratification is the best single predictor factor for pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma and allows tailoring of the treatment protocol. For selected patients, reductions in total chemotherapy exposure, elimination of irradiation in selected low risk patients and reduction of radiotherapy dose according to postoperative margin and nodal status is safe.

Integrating Remote Sensing and Field Survey to Map Shallow Water Benthic Habitat for the Kingdom of Bahrain

Identification and classification, as well as mapping of marine habitats, are of primary importance to plan management activities, especially in disturbed ecosystems like the ones in the marine areas of Bahrain. Remotely sensed Landsat-8 imagery coupled with field survey was used to identify, classify and map the benthic habitats in Bahrain marine area. The used geospatial techniques include advanced image processing procedures, which comprise of radiometric and atmospheric corrections, sun glint removal, water depth correction and image classification. Extensive ground-truthing analyses through in-situ field surveys by a team of scuba divers were conducted in October 2014 and June 2015 to inform and refine the classifications. The variables collected from this survey included physical and chemical characteristics of the water, habitat type, substrata, fauna and flora. A total of 176 field points were collected and utilized to perform an accurate assessment of the image classification. Initial habitat classification resulted in 20 habitat categories. However, due to the inability of the Landsat-8 sensors to accurately discriminate that level of classification, categories were merged into seven classes. The derived map shows that the benthic marine habitats of Bahrain consist of deep water （2,523 km2）, rock （1,738 km2）, sand （1,191 km2）, deep water/sand （1,006 km2）, algae （922 km2）, seagrass （591 km2） and corals （275.50 km2）. Although limited by the spatial and spectral resolutions of Landsat 8, the used methods produced a suitable map of the benthic habitats within the marine area of Bahrain with an overall accuracy of 84.1%. The use of very high spatial resolution satellite imagery will most likely increase such accuracy significantly.

Comparison of Three Single-Nozzle Operator-Carried Spray Applicators for Whitefly (<i>Bemisia tabaci</i>) Management on Squash

Whiteflies cause problems in vegetable production on a global scale. The primary worldwide whitefly pest is Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius). Insecticides are commonly used to mitigate the whitefly problem in vegetable crops. In limited-resource crop production, operator-carried spray applicators are commonly used for pesticide treatments. Three single-nozzle operator-carried spray applicators were assessed for their efficacies for whitefly (B. tabaci) control on summer squash (Cucurbita pepo L.) in Egypt. Each knapsack spray equipment was evaluated with five biorational and conventional insecticides. Counts of whitefly nymphs (first, second, third and fourth instars) on leaf samples were taken on 3, 9, 15 and 21 days after treatments with the insecticides. Nymphal mortality varied about 10% among the three spray equipment treatments. The Economy Micro Ulva sprayer resulted in significantly more nymphal mortality as compared with the Arimitsu sprayer and the CZP-3 sprayer, respectively. All insecticides greatly suppressed the whitefly populations;mean mortality ranged from 73% to 95% for all nymphs combined by day for a given treatment. These results provide pest management practitioners with performance assessment of the three operator-carried pesticide applicators for whitefly management with selected foliar insecticides.

Can We Predict Menorrhagia with Intrauterine Contraceptive Device (IUCD) Insertion?

Objective: Studying sub endometrial vascularity and blood flow in cases using intrauterine contraceptive devices for contraception with and without menorrhagia compared to cases not using intrauterine contraceptive devices. Methods: Three hundred and fifteen women attending gynecology and family planning outpatient clinics in the maternity hospital, Ain Shams University were included in the study. They were classified into three groups, 105 women using IUCD with menorrhagia (group I), 105 women using IUCD without menorrhagia (group II), and 105 normal controls not using IUCD (group III). After excluding local causes for bleeding, blood disease or any medical disorders, transvaginal ultrasound including three dimensional power Doppler (3DPD) ultrasound was done for all women. Right and left uterine artery pulsatility index (PI) and resistance index (RI) were calculated, subednometrial blood flow RI and PI were obtained then 3DPD Vascular indices (VI, FI and VFI) of subendometrial blood flow were obtained for all cases. Statistical analysis was done to compare between the three groups. Results: A significant statistical difference was found as regards subendometrial vascularity indices, while there was no difference as regards bilateral uterine arteries Doppler indices in the three groups. Conclusion: Subendometrial vascularity in cases of menorrhagia with IUCD was markedly higher than in cases without menorrhagia and cases with no IUCD. 3DPD may be used for selection of cases prior to insertion of IUCD.

随着城市人口的增加,气候变化已成为全球共同关注的问题。人类引起的大气成分变化是全球气候变化的主要原因。在地方和区域层面,城市化和土地利用的变化也发挥着重要作用。然而,与能源使用相关的排放占这些干扰的大部分。2017年美国气候科学报告指出,如果年排放量继续像2000年以来那样快速上升,模型预测到本世纪末,全球平均气温将至少上升5华氏度,甚至可能上升10.2度。根据模型预测,即使到2050年年排放量逐渐上升并开始急剧下降,气温仍将比20世纪上半叶至少高出2.4度,甚至可能高出5.9度。巴格达被认为是世界上最热的城市之一,伊拉克巴格达市的特点是亚热带沙漠气候,天气炎热,夏季炎热而漫长,一年长达七个月。巴格达的每日最高温度通常接近50°C。炎热的气候使人们通过人工降温系统来调节建筑物的室内温度,不仅增加了能源消耗,而且将热能传递到建筑物周围,导致室外环境变差,室外温度升高导致城市热岛现象的出现。此外,许多研究表明,中东炎热干燥城市(如巴格达)的大部分城市形态风格都是基于当代规划技术创建的。在不考虑炎热干燥地区恶劣的当地条件的情况下,这些传统是从普遍存在温带和凉爽气候的西方环境中继承下来的。本论文的研究对象是巴格达的城市环境和住宅建筑。该研究方法依靠描述性和分析性的方法来实现其目标并达到预期目标,首先,通过研究和分析来阐明巴格达的气候特征和城市气候的影响。其次,调查城市住区外部环境、室外空间的规划要素及其遇到的问题,如朝向、开洞、植被覆盖、绿化、保温材料的使用、个体的设计特点等、建筑,以及居住区生活质量的自我评估。最后,提出了能够降低热气候负面影响的改善设计策略,并提出适合该区域的技术措施,为城市居住区规划设计和建筑设计提供参考。

“Axillary Space Obliteration”—An Effective Technique in Reducing Seroma Formation after Mastectomy and Axillary Dissection

Introduction: Seroma is the commonest complication of breast cancer surgery, and although its consequences most often cause no more than discomfort and anxiety, more important sequelae include flap necrosis and wound dehiscence. Seroma management can be difficult and frustrating for both the patient and surgeon. Numerous methods to reduce post-mastectomy seroma formation have been tried with no consistent success. Methods: Sixty patients were prepared for modified radical mastectomy. Of those, the study group contains 30 patients and the control group contains 30 patients. Study group had axillary space obliteration while the other had the conventional procedure;total drain outputs were recorded daily for all patients prior to drain removal. The drains were removed when the daily drainage was less than 30 ml. Results: This study contains 60 patients, and the study group contains 30 patients, and the control group contains 30 patients. Age, tumor size, No. of positive lymph nodes were of no significant differences to be more concise on the effect of axillary space obliteration. The mean of day of drain removal in the control group was 13.2 ± 1.0 days (9 - 18 days) with a mean of total drain output of (4700 ± 90.3 ml) (3722 - 4930) while the mean in the study group of day of drain removal was 7.1 ± 1.3 days (6 - 12) with a mean of total drain output of 1530 ± 422 ml (range 600 - 2100 ml) p < 0.001. Conclusion: Obliteration of axillary space is a valuable procedure that significantly decreases seroma after mastectomy and axillary dissection.
