Transition and Transgression of Identity in Chuck Palahniuk＇s Survivor

The post-modernist concerning with identity and subjectivity posits that identity is multi-faceted and constantly gets re-constructed by choice. This results in increasingly fragmented and unstable identities leading to an inevitable breakdown in social relationships and sanity. A limited and dependable set of coherent identities began to fragment into a diverse and unstable series of competing identities. Post-modernism stifled the idea of nation, religion, family, and identity as bedrocks of stability and security. Disillusioned post-modernist world has deconstructed the well-defined boundaries that governed the life, otherwise, transition and transgression through and across these domains became the norm that allowed negotiation in daily lives. Where the subject became a terminal of multiple networks, consciously enacting the repetitions through which identity was getting produced and changed, demonstrating identity＇s ＂performativity＂. Establishing that what we believe to be true is only a construction or an interpretation of reality, shaped by our own socially constructed bias, thereby putting to scrutiny the idea of reality and real itself, which removed any sense of objective reality and with it the notion of an objective self. Identity is constantly changing and transitioning, the idea of the self which is entangled with multiplicity, heterogeneity, difference and ceaselessly becoming caught between the present and future, real and unreal, death and life. This research paper will carry out an analysis on evidential aspects in the selected novel and will further interpret the episodes of transition and transgressions that inform this novel.

In this study,the physicochemical,microstructural,mineralogical,thermal,and kinetic properties of three newly discovered coals from Akunza(AKZ),Ome(OME),and Shiga(SHG)in Nigeria were examined for potential energy *** analysis revealed high combustible but low levels of polluting *** higher heating values ranged from 18.65 MJ/kg(AKZ)to 26.59 MJ/kg(SHG).Microstructure and mineralogical analyses revealed particles with a rough texture,surface,and glassy lustre,which could be ascribed to metals,quartz,and kaolinite *** major elements(C,O,Si,and Al),along with minor elements(Ca,Cu,Fe,K,Mg,S,and Ti)detected are associated with clays,salts,or the porphyrin constituents of *** analysis showed mass loss(ML)ranges from 30.51%to 87.57%and residual mass(RM)from 12.44%to 69.49%under combustion(oxidative)and pyrolysis(non-oxidative)TGA conditions due to thermal degradation of organic matter and macerals(vitrinite,inertinite and liptinite).Kinetic analysis revealed the coals are highly reactive under the oxidative and non-oxidative conditions based on the Coats-Redfem *** activation energy(Ea)ranged from 23.81 to 89.56 kJ/mol,whereas the pre-exponential factor(kQ)was from 6.77×10^(-4)/min to 1.72×10^(3)/min under pyrolysis and combustion *** conclusion,the coals are practical feedstocks for either energy recovery or industrial applications.

Microwave Preparation and Spectroscopic Investigation of Binuclear Schiff Base Metal Complexes Derived from 2,6-Diaminopyridine with Salicylaldehyde

The binuclear Schiff base complexes prepared by condensation 2,6-diamino-pyridine and salicylaldehyde (LH) by using microwave and adding metal salts to ligand by same ratio. The Schiff base ligand was checked by infrared, electronic spectra and 1HNMR spectroscopy and prepared complexes characterized by molar conductivity, infrared, electronic spectra and susceptibility measurements. The values of molar conductivities reveal that the complexes are non-electrolytes, from obtained data of electronic spectra and magnetic moment, an octahedral geometry was suggested, coordinated to the metal ions in a manner with N donor sites of imine groups, and oxygen of phenolic OH group.

In this paper, we consider 2 × 2 non-cooperative elliptic system involving Laplace operator defined on bounded, continuous and strictly Lipschitz domain of Rn. First we prove the existence and uniqueness for the state of the system under conjugation conditions;then we discuss the existence of the optimal control of boundary type with Neumann conditions, and we find the set of equations and inequalities that characterize it.

Renal tubular acidosis(RTA)can lead to renal calcification in children,which can cause various complications and impair renal *** review provides pediatricians with a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between RTA and renal calcification,highlighting essential aspects for clinical *** article analyzed relevant studies to explore the prevalence,risk factors,underlying mechanisms,and clinical implications of renal calcification in children with *** show that distal RTA(type 1)is particularly associated with nephrocalcinosis,which presents a higher risk of renal ***,there are limitations to the existing literature,including a small number of studies,heterogeneity in methodologies,and potential publication *** data and control groups are also lacking,which limits our understanding of longterm outcomes and optimal management strategies for children with RTA and renal *** play a crucial role in the early diagnosis and management of RTA to mitigate the risk of renal calcification and associated *** addition,alkaline therapy remains a cornerstone in the treatment of RTA,aimed at correcting the acid-base imbalance and reducing the formation of kidney ***,early diagnosis and appropriate therapeutic interventions are paramount in preventing and managing renal calcification to preserve renal function and improve long-term outcomes for affected *** research with larger sample sizes and rigorous methodologies is needed to optimize the clinical approach to renal calcification in the context of RTA in the pediatric population.

In vitro inhibitory analysis of consensus siRNAs against NS3 gene of hepatitis C virus 1a genotype

Objective: To explore inhibitory effects of genome-specific, chemically synthesized siRNAs(small interference RNA) against NS3 gene of hepatitis C virus(HCV) 1a genotype in stable Huh-7(human hepatoma) cells as well as against viral replication in serum-inoculated Huh-7 cells. Methods: Stable Huh-7 cells persistently expressing NS3 gene were produced under antibiotic gentamycin(G418) selection. The cell clones resistant to 1 000 μg antibiotic concentration(G418) were picked as stable cell clones. The NS3 gene expression in stable cell clone was confirmed by RT-PCR and Western blotting. siRNA cell cytotoxicity was determined by MTT cell proliferation assay. Stable cell lines were transfected with sequence specific siRNAs and their inhibitory effects were determined by RT-PCR, real-time PCR and Western blotting. The viral replication inhibition by siRNAs in serum inoculated Huh-7 cells was determined by real-time PCR. Results: RT-PCR and Western blot analysis confirmed NS3 gene and protein expression in stable cell lines on day 10, 20 and 30 post transfection. MTT cell proliferation assay revealed that at most concentrated dose tested(50 nmol/L), siRNA had no cytotoxic effects on Huh-7 cells and cell proliferation remained unaffected. As demonstrated by the siRNA time-dependent inhibitory analysis, siRNA NS3-is44 showed maximum inhibition of NS3 gene in stable Huh-7 cell clones at 24(80%, P=0.013) and 48 h(75%, P=0.002) post transfection. The impact of siRNAs on virus replication in serum inoculated Huh-7 cells also demonstrated significant decrease in viral copy number, where siRNA NS3-is44 exhibited 70%(Py number. siRNA synergism(NS3-is33 + NS3-is44) decreased viral load by 84%(Py each siRNA(i.e., 64%–70%(Pynthetic siRNAs mixture(NS5Bis88 + NS3-is33) targeting different region of HCV genom

Pinning Characteristics in a Single Crystal Nd-123 Superconductors at Low, Intermediate and High Temperatures Using Flux Creep-Flow Model

The pinning characteristics of a single crystal NdBaaCu3Oy superconductor at low （40 K）, intermediate （77.3 K） and high （88 K） temperatures were investigated. The experimental results of the critical current density dc and the apparent pinning potential u o which estimated from magnetic relaxation measurements are compared with the theoretical analysis based on the flux creep-flow model, taking the distribution of the flux pinning strength into account. The number of flux lines in the flux bundle （g2）, the most probable value of pinning strength （Am）, distribution width of pinning strength （σ-2） and other pinning parameters such as m, γ,δ are determined so that a good fit is obtained between the experimental and theoretical results. The behavior of these parameters is discussed in correspondence to the pinning characteristics of low, intermediate and high temperatures. The observed results are approximately consistent with the theoretical predictions of Brandt et al. model of the order-disorder transition.
