In recent years,a lot of research has been done on silver nanoparticles(SNP)due to their numerous applications in the biomedical,pharmaceutical,and drug delivery *** this present study SNP were green synthesized using Melicope lunu-ankenda(***-ankenda)leaf *** addition of AgNO3 causes a color change.L-arginine addition results in further colour changes confirming conjugation.A UV–Vis spectrophotometric examination showed that the absorption peak for SNP was 435 nm,while the peak for L-arginine SNP(cSNP)was 422 *** analysis confirmed the association of amides and amines with *** spherical nature of the silver was disclosed by SEM,and its elemental character is verified by *** thermal stability of the nanoparticles is determined by TGA analysis,while TEM examination verifies their spherical *** the MTT assay,these cSNP exhibited outstanding toxicity analysis(IC5038.72μg/ml)against MDA-MB-231 *** cSNP causes damage to the mitochondria(JC1 staining),which causes oxidative stress and the production of ROS with 83%of DCF expression in cancer ***,as demonstrated by the Comet assay and DAPI,these cSNP cause good DNA damage in the treated ***,using flow cytometry,cSNPs potentially trigger apoptosis by triggering the expression of caspase 3 and caspase 8 ***,through CAM,cSNP demonstrated strong anti-angiogenesis activity by reducing the number of blood vessel *** findings suggest that cSNP may be crucial for drug delivery and cancer treatment.

Biochemical synthesis of silver nanoprticles using filamentous fungi Penicillium decumbens (MTCC-2494) and its efficacy against A-549 lung cancer cell line

Biosynthesis of silver and other metallic nanoparticles is one of the emerging research area in the field of science and technology due to their potentiality, especially in the field of nano-biotechnology and biomedical sciences in order to develop nanomedicine. In our present study, Penicillium decumbens(MTCC-2494) was brought from Institute of Microbial Technology(IMTECH) Chandigarh and employed for extracellular biological synthesis of silver nanoparticles. Ag-NPs formation was appeared with a dark brown color inside the conical flask. Characterization of Ag-NPs were done by UV-Spectrophotometric analysis which showed absorption peak at 430 nm determines the presence of nanoparticles, Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) spectroscopic analysis, showed amines and amides are the possible proteins involved in the stabilization of nanoparticles as capping agent. Atomic force Microscopy(AFM) confirmed the particle are spherical, size was around 30 to 60 nm and also the roughness of nanoparticles. Field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) showed the topology of the nanoparticles and were spherical in shape. The biosynthesis process was found fast, ecofriendly and cost effective. Nano-silver particle was found to have a broad antimicrobial activity and also it showed good enhancement of antimicrobial activity of Carbenicillin, Piperacillin, Cefixime, Amoxicillin, Ofloxacin and Sparfloxacin in a synergistic mode. These Ag-NPs showed good anti-cancer activity at 80 μg·m L^(-1) upon 24 hours of incubation and toxicity increases upon 48 hours of incubation against A-549 human lung cancer cell line and the synergistic formulation of the antibiotic with the synthesized nanoparticles was found more effective against the pathogenic bacteria studied.

Ligamentotaxis for comminuted fracture of capitate： a case report

We present the technical report for treat- ment of comminuted fracture of the capitate with ligamentotaxis. The base of third metacarpal was found to be fractured with comminution of the capitate. The decrease in carpal height index and comminution of the third metacar- pal base lead to dilemma between conservative treatment and surgical management of this particular injury. The sur- gical management was chosen to maintain the carpal height index of the wrist to prevent the late degenerative *** patient was applied with external fixator in distraction mode expanning the wrist joint for six weeks, and the wrist was mobilised after removal of the fixator. It is shown that the external fixator in distraction mode expanning the wrist joint is a good alternative method for treatment of capitate fracture.

Software Defined Networking(SDN)being an emerging network control model is widely recognized as a control and management *** model provides efficient techniques to control and manage the enterprise *** emerging paradigm is edge computing in which data processing is performed at the edges of the network instead of a central *** data processing at the edge nodes reduces the latency and bandwidth *** SDN,the controller is a single point of *** security issues related to the traditional network can be solved by using SDN central management and *** Spoofing and Network Intrusion are the most common *** attacks severely degrade performance and *** propose an edge computing-based mechanism that automatically detects and mitigates those *** this mechanism,an edge system gets the network topology from the controller and the Address Resolution Protocol(ARP)traffic is directed to it for further *** such,the controller is saved from unnecessary processing related to addressing *** propose a graph computation based method to identify the location of an attacker or intruder by implementing a graph difference *** using the correct location information,the exact attacker or intruder is blocked,while the legitimate users get access to the network *** proposed mechanism is evaluated in a Mininet simulator and a POX *** results show that it improves system performance in terms of attack mitigation time,attack detection time,and bandwidth requirements.

Handwritten character recognition systems are used in every field of life nowadays,including shopping malls,banks,educational institutes,*** is the national language of Pakistan,and it is the fourth spoken language in the ***,it is still challenging to recognize Urdu handwritten characters owing to their cursive *** paper presents a Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)model to recognize Urdu handwritten alphabet recognition(UHAR)offline and online *** research contributes an Urdu handwritten dataset(aka UHDS)to empower future works in this *** offline systems,optical readers are used for extracting the alphabets,while diagonal-based extraction methods are implemented in online ***,our research tackled the issue concerning the lack of comprehensive and standard Urdu alphabet datasets to empower research activities in the area of Urdu text *** this end,we collected 1000 handwritten samples for each alphabet and a total of 38000 samples from 12 to 25 age groups to train our CNN model using online and offline ***,we carried out detailed experiments for character recognition,as detailed in the *** proposed CNN model outperformed as compared to previously published approaches.

The fast-paced growth of artificial intelligence applications provides unparalleled opportunities to improve the efficiency of various *** as the transportation sector faces many obstacles following the implementation and integration of different vehicular and environmental aspects *** congestion is among the major issues in this regard which demands serious attention due to the rapid growth in the number of vehicles on the *** address this overwhelming problem,in this article,a cloudbased intelligent road traffic congestion prediction model is proposed that is empowered with a hybrid Neuro-Fuzzy *** aim of the study is to reduce the delay in the queues,the vehicles experience at different road junctions across the *** proposed model also intended to help the automated traffic control systems by minimizing the congestion particularly in a smart city environment where observational data is obtained from various implanted Internet of Things(IoT)sensors across the *** due preprocessing over the cloud server,the proposed approach makes use of this data by incorporating the neuro-fuzzy ***,it possesses a high level of accuracy by means of intelligent decision making with minimum error *** results reveal the accuracy of the proposed model as 98.72%during the validation phase in contrast to the highest accuracies achieved by state-of-the-art techniques in the literature such as 90.6%,95.84%,97.56%and 98.03%,*** far as the training phase analysis is concerned,the proposed scheme exhibits 99.214% accuracy. The proposed prediction modelis a potential contribution towards smart cities environment.

Forecasting future outbreaks can help in minimizing their *** is a disease primarily found in animals but transferred to humans through *** 1918,influenza became a pandemic and spread rapidly all over the world becoming the cause behind killing one-third of the human population and killing one-fourth of the pig ***,that influenza became a pandemic several times on a local and global *** 2009,influenza‘A’subtype H1N1 again took many human *** disease spread like in a pandemic *** paper proposes a forecasting modeling system for the influenza pandemic using a feed-forward propagation neural network(MSDII-FFNN).This model helps us predict the outbreak,and determines which type of influenza becomes a pandemic,as well as which geographical area is *** collection for the model is done by using IoT *** model is divided into 2 phases:The training phase and the validation phase,both being connected through the *** the training phase,the model is trained using FFNN and is updated on the *** the validation phase,whenever the input is submitted through the IoT devices,the system model is updated through the cloud and predicts the pandemic *** our dataset,the data is divided into an 85%training ratio and a 15%validation *** applying the proposed model to our dataset,the predicted output precision is 90%.

The current demand growth of new components capable of operating at high power, high frequency, high temperatures and convergence towards miniaturization has lead to the development of new fields of nanotechnology based on II-VI semiconductor Interest in nanostructure：s based on II-VI semiconductor narrow gap containing mercury （such as super lattices HgTe/CdTe） was due to their advantages over alloys with cadmium telluride Mercury （MCT： HgCdTe）. The ternary alloy is a semiconductor band-gap direct, in that work the main interest is about the ternary compound. The results obtained are very satisfactory, they are compared with experimental results, and are in good agreement. These results are very promising and open new perspectives for the realization of solar cells and applications in the field of sensors.
