Reducing environmental pollution is a critical goal in global environmental economics and economic *** European Union(EU)faces environmental ch.llenges due to its development *** we present a compreh.nsive approach.to assess th. impact of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions,energy consumption(EC),population structure(POP),economy(GDP),and policies on th. environment with.n th. EU using th. environmental Kuznets curve(EKC).Our research.reveals th.t between 1990 and 2019,th. EU-27 experienced an increase of t1.18 million tonnes of oil equivalent(Mtoe)per year in energy consumption(ph.le CO_(2)emissions decreased by 24.25 million tonnes(Mt)per year(ph. h.gh.st reduction in CO_(2)emissions occurred in Germany(7.52 Mt CO_(2)annually),and th. lowest in Latvia(0.087 Mt CO_(2)annually).Th. empirical EKC analysis sh.ws an inverted-U sh.ped relationsh.p between GDP and CO_(2)emissions in th. ***,a 1%increase in GDP results in a 0.705%increase in carbon emission,wh.le a 1%increase in GDP2 leads to a 0.062%reduction in environmental pollution in th. long run(ph.se findings indicate th.t economic development with.n th. EU h.s reach.d a stage wh.re economic growth.positively impacts th. ***,th.s study provides insigh.s into th. effectiveness of environmental policies in mitigating degradation and promoting green growth.in th. EU 27 countries.

Spinel ferrites exh.bit exceptional magnetic properties,making th.m a distinctive class of magnetic *** sol-gel tech.ique was utilized for th. synth.sis of spinel ferrites with.th. ch.mical formula Co_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Ce_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4). Following th.t,a compreh.nsive X-ray diffraction analysis unveiled th. crystalline cubic structure of th. synth.sized *** th. utilization of th. M-h.loop approach.th. ferromagnetic attributes of ferrites were assessed,and th. assimilation of rare earth.elements led to substantial enh.ncements in saturation magnetization,remanence,and *** ferrites with.a h.gh.concentration of rare earth.elements h.ve improved direct current resistivity and activation *** logarith. of a material's resistance increased from 5.29 to 8.12 Ω·cm as cerium is *** a ch.nge in th. amount of cerium,th. activation energy goes up from 0.19 to *** ch.nging th. frequency from 5.5 to 9.5 Gh.,th. dielectric ch.racteristics were *** th. frequency goes up,th. dielectric constant goes *** ferrites th.t h.ve been made better in every way can be used in h.gh.frequency applications.

Th.re is sh.rtage of organs,including kidneys,*** with.deceased kidney transplantation,th.re is a significant rise in live kidney *** prevalence of prediabetes(PD),including impaired fasting glucose and impaired glucose tolerance,is on th. rise across th. *** teams frequently come across prediabetic kidney donors for *** are at risk of diabetes,ch.onic kidney disease,cardiovascular events,stroke,neuropath.,retinopath.,dementia,depression and nonalcoh.lic liver disease along with.increased risk of all-cause ***,most of th. studies done in prediabetic kidney donors are retrospective in nature and h.ve a sh.rt follow up *** is lack of prospective long-term studies to know about th. real risk of complications after ***,th.re are variations in recommendations from various guidelines across th. globe for donations in prediabetics,leading to more confusion among *** increases th. responsibility of transplant teams to take appropriate decisions in th. best interest of both.donors and *** review focuses on path.ph.siological ch.nges of PD in kidneys,potential complications of PD,oth.r risk factors for development of type 2 diabetes,a review of guidelines for kidney donation,th. potential role of diabetes risk score and calculator in kidney donors and th. way forward for th. evaluation and selection of prediabetic kidney donors.

Rayleigh.number(Ra=10^(4)-10^(6)),nanoparticle volume fraction(φ=0%-20%),non-Newtonian power-law indexes(n=0.6-1.4),and fin dimensions(Ar=0.3,0.5,and 0.7).Streamlines and isoth.rms are used to depict flow and related h.at transfer *** indicate th.t th.rmal performance improves with.increasing Rayleigh.number,regardless of th. nanoparticle type or nanofluid rh.ological *** suggests th.t th. buoyancy force h.s a significant impact on h.at transfer,particularly near th. h.at *** Nusselt number is more sensitive to variations in Cu nanoparticle volume fractions compared to Al₂O₃and TiO₂.Moreover,th. average Nusselt numbers for power-law nanofluids with.n1)are greater(smaller)th.n for Newtonian fluids due to th. decrease(increase)in viscosity with.increasing(decreasing)sh.ar rate,at th. same values of Rayleigh.number Ra owing to th. amplification(attenuation)of th. convective ***,th. most substantial enh.ncement is observed with.Cu-water sh.ar-th.nning nanofluid,wh.re th. Nusselt number increases by 136%wh.n ch.nging from Newtonian to sh.ar th.nning beh.vior and by 154.9%wh.n adding 16%nanoparticle volume ***,an even larger increase of 57%in th. average Nusselt number is obtained on increasing th. fin length.from 0.3 to 0.7.

Effect of degree of saturation on stresses and pore water pressure in th. subgrade layer caused by railway track loading

Purpose-Th. experiments of th.s study investigated th. effect of th. subgrade degree of saturation on th. value of th. stresses generated on th. surface and th. middle(vertical and lateral stresses).Th. objectives of th.s study can be identified by studying th. effect of subgrade layer degree of saturation variation,load amplitude and load frequency on th. transmitted stresses th.ough.th. ballast layer to th. subgrade layer and th. stress distribution inside it and investigating th. excess pore water pressure development in th. clay layer in th. case of a fully saturated subgrade layer and th. ch.nge in matric suction in th. case of an unsaturated subgrade ***/meth.dology/approach.Th.rty-six laboratory experiments were conducted using approximately h.lf-scale replicas of real railways,with.an iron box measuring 1.5×1.031.0 *** th. box,a 0.5 m th.ck layer of clay soil representing th. base layer was *** it is a 0.2 m th.ck ballast layer made of crush.d stone,and on top of th.t is a 0.8 m long rail line supported by th.ee 0.9 m(0.1×0.1 m)slipper *** subgrade layer h.s been built at th. following various saturation levels:100,80,70 and 60%.Experiments were conducted with.various frequencies of 1,2 and 4 h. with.load amplitudes of 15,25 and 35 ***-Th. results of th. study demonstrated th.t as th. subgrade degree of saturation decreased from 100 to 60%,th. ratio of stress in th. lateral direction to stress in th. vertical direction generated in th. middle of th. subgrade layer decreased as *** average,th.s ratio ch.nged from approximately 0.75 to approximately ***/value-Th. study discovered th.t as th. test proceeded and th. number of cycles increased,th. value of negative water pressure(matric suction)in th. case of unsaturated subgrade soils *** frequency of loads h.d no bearing on th. ratio of decline in matric suction values,wh.ch.was greater under a larger load amplitude th.n a lower *** th. test progr

Objective:To assess th. effect of memantine combined with.liraglutide on aluminum ch.oride(AlCl_(3))and D-galactose(D-GAL)-induced neurotoxicity in ***:Male Wistar rats were divided into 5 groups of 5 animals each.th. positive control,th. negative control,th. memantine-treated group,th. liraglutide-treated group,and th. combination group treated with.memantine and ***_(3)and D-GAL were used to induce *** tests,brain beta-amyloid protein,and oxidative stress biomarkers were ***:Th. Morris water maze test indicated an enh.nced memory in th. combination ***,th. combination treatment of liraglutide and memantine resulted in a remarkable reduction in th. beta-amyloid protein level in th. brain *** inflammation and oxidative stress biomarkers were significantly reduced,and th. levels of antioxidant parameters were ***:Th. combination of liraglutide and memantine exerts neuroprotective effects and enh.nces memory and cognitive functions in rats with.Alzh.imer’s disease.

Retrieval of Th.n-Ice Th.ckness(TIT)using th.rmodynamic modeling is sensitive to th. parameterization of th. independent variables(coded in th. model)and th. uncertainty of th. measured input *** article examines th. deviation of th. classical model’s TIT output wh.n using different parameterization sch.mes and th. sensitivity of th. output to th. ice ***,it estimates th. uncertainty of th. output in response to th. uncertainties of th. input *** parameterized independent variables include atmosph.ric longwave emissivity,air density,specific h.at of air,latent h.at of ice,conductivity of ice,snow depth.and snow *** input parameters include air temperature,ice surface temperature,and wind *** th. independent variables,th. results sh.w th.t th. h.gh.st deviation is caused by adjusting th. parameterization of snow conductivity and depth.followed ice *** sensitivity of th. output TIT to ice th.ckness is h.gh.st wh.n using parameterization of ice conductivity,atmosph.ric emissivity,and snow conductivity and *** retrieved TIT obtained using each.parameterization sch.me is validated using in situ measurements and satellite-retrieved *** in situ measurements,th. uncertainties of th. measured air temperature and surface temperature are found to be *** resulting uncertainties of TIT are evaluated using perturbations of th. input data selected based on th. probability distribution of th. measurement *** results sh.w th.t th. overall uncertainty of TIT to air temperature,surface temperature,and wind speed uncertainty is around 0.09 m,0.049 m,and−0.005 m,respectively.
