The photodetachment of H-near a hard wall is investigated with linear polarized laser light travelling in arbitrary direction θL with respect to the z axis. An analytical formula for the total cross section is derived using semi-classical closed orbit theory, which consists of two terms, i.e., the smooth background term and the oscillatory term with an extra factor 2(θL). This factor controls oscillations in the total photodetachment cross section. The amplitude of oscillation is maximum at θL = 0 when the laser polarization direction is perpendicular to the wall and it approaches zero at θL = π /2when the laser polarization direction is parallel to the wall. It is also observed that the total cross section depends on the source–wall distance and it reduces to a free space case when the wall is at infinite distance from the source.

A MgAl-layered double hydroxide(MgAl-LDH)protective film was developed on AA6082 substrates via the in situ hydrothermal growth method to obtain a distinct cauliflower-like LDH structure,and coated substrates were further heat-treated in air at temperatures from 100 to 250℃ to further improve the corrosion resistance of MgAl-LDH by taking advantage of the LDH memory effect;also,the effect of calcination on MgAl-LDH structural stability and the corresponding corrosion resistance properties were *** structural characterization of uncalcined and calcined LDH films were examined using scanning electron microscopy,energy-dispersive spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,thermogravimetric analysis,differential scanning calorimetry,and Fourier transform infrared *** corresponding corrosion protection efficiency of the developed coating was studied through potentiodynamic polarization experiments and by electrochemical impedance *** with uncalcined MgAl-LDH,the calcined film showed a relatively lower corrosion current density and a higher impedance value,especially after heat treatment at 250℃.The findings demonstrate that calcination strongly affects the oriented growth of the LDH and causes an increase in the surface area and contraction of the basal spacing,which in turn caused a compact structure that substantially influenced the LDH corrosion resistance properties.

The novel coronavirus responsible for COVID-19 has spread to several countries within a considerably short *** virus gets deposited in the human nasal cavity and moves to the lungs that might be *** per safety guidelines by theWorld Health Organization(WHO),social distancing has emerged as one of the major factors to avoid the spread of ***,different guidelines are being followed across the countries with regards to what should be the safe ***,the current work is an attempt to understand the virus deposition pattern in the realistic human nasal cavity and also to find the impact of distance that could be termed as a safety *** study is performed usingComputationalFluid Dynamics as a solution tool to investigate the impact of COVID-19 deposition(i)On a realistic 3D human upper airway model and(ii)2D social distancing protocol for a distance of 0.6,1.2,1.8,and 2.4 *** results revealed that the regional deposition flux within the nasal cavity was predominantly observed in the external nasal cavity and nasopharyngeal *** flushing of these regions with saltwater substitutes can limit contamination in healthy *** safe distancing limit estimated with 1 m/s airflow was about 1.8 *** extensive deposition was observed for distances less than 1.8 m in this study,emphasizing the fact that social distancing advisories are not useful and do not take into account the external dynamics associated with airflow.

Automated Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) becomes more popular and has increased *** concentrates on the automatic identification of the emotional state of a humanbeing using speech signals. It mainly depends upon the in-depth analysis of the speech signal,extracts features containing emotional details from the speech signal, and utilises patternrecognition techniques for emotional state identification. The major problem in automatic SERis to extract discriminate, powerful, and emotional salient features from the acoustical content ofspeech signals. The proposed model aims to detect and classify three emotional states of speechsuch as happy, neutral, and sad. The presented model makes use of Convolution neural network– Gated Recurrent unit (CNN-GRU) based feature extraction technique which derives a set offeature vectors. A comprehensive simulation takes place using the Berlin German Database andSJTU Chinese Database which comprises numerous audio files under a collection of differentemotion labels.

A 360°video stream provide users a choice of viewing one's own point of interest inside the immersive *** head or hand manipulations to view the interesting scene in a 360°video is very tedious and the user may view the interested frame during his head/hand movement or even lose *** automatically extracting user's point of interest(UPI)in a 360°video is very challenging because of subjectivity and difference of *** handle these challenges and provide user's the best and visually pleasant view,we propose an automatic approach by utilizing two CNN models:object detector and aesthetic score of the *** proposed framework is three folded:pre-processing,Deepdive architecture,and view selection *** first fold,an input 360°video-frame is divided into three sub frames,each one with 120°*** second fold,each sub-frame is passed through CNN models to extract visual features in the sub-frames and calculate aesthetic ***,decision pipeline selects the sub frame with salient object based on the detected object and calculated aesthetic *** compared to other state-of-the-art techniques which are domain specific approaches i.e.,support sports 360°video,our syste m support most of the 360°videos *** evaluation of proposed framework on our own collected data from various websites indicate performance for different categories of 360°videos.

In order to design Sustainable Land Management(SLM)plans or interventions it is important to understand the land use change and subsequent *** basic aim of this study was to assess the impact of land use land cover(LULC)change on soil physico-chemical properties and nutrients loss under different land use/land cover changes within Miandam watershed of Swat valley,*** study area was divided into three major types on the basis LULC type(Dense forest,Moderate forest and Agriculture land).A total of 81 soil samples were collected from the study area(27 from each land use)through stratified random sampling and were transferred to the *** prepared soil samples were then tested for various physico-chemical properties such as pH,electrical conductivity,contents of organic matter,organic carbon,sand,silt,clay,nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium,iron,copper and *** showed that LULC significantly affected all soil parameters except electrical conductivity and *** all the nutrients assessed,the enrichment ratio was greater than 1 which showed that the most fertile layer of the soil in the cropped areas was transported through soil *** this study,time-series satellite images were used to determine the spatiotemporal changes in the LULC of Miandam valley of Swat,Pakistan,and the possible effect of LULC on soil properties was *** information generated on the soil properties as indicators of soil health could be used to inform the stakeholders about the effect of LULC change in the study ***-temporal image acquired by Landsat sensors for the year 2018 was used for quantifying changes in the study *** Landsat images for the year 2018 were classified into six land cover/land use *** increase in agricultural activities caused an increase in the land farming areas which led to an increase in the rate of deforestation in the ***,the present study results reveal that the use of the soil for agriculture i

The Upper Carboniferous-Lower Permian （Upper Pennsylvanian-Asselian） Tobra Formation is exposed in the Salt and Trans Indus ranges of Pakistan. The formation exhibits an alluvial plain （alluvial fan-piedmont alluvial plain） facies association in the Salt Range and Khisor Range. In addition, a stream flow facies association is restricted to the eastern Salt Range. The alluvial plain facies association is comprised of clast-supported massive conglomerate （Gmc）, diamictite （Dm） facies, and massive sandstone （Sm） iithofacies whereas the stream flow-dominated alluvial plain facies association includes fine-grained sandstone and sUtstone （Fss）, fining upwards pebbly sandstone （Sf）, and massive mudstone （Fro） lithofacies. The lack of glacial signatures （particularly glacial grooves and striations） in the deposits in the Tobra Formation, which are, in contrast, present in their time-equivalent and palaeogeographically nearby strata of the Arabian peninsula, e.g. the Al Khlata Formation of Oman and Unayzah B member of the Sandi Arabia, suggests a pro-to periglacial, i.e. glaciofluvial depositional setting for the Tobra Formation. The sedimentology of the Tobra Formation attests that the Salt Range, Pakistan, occupied a palaeogeographic position just beyond the maximum glacial extent during Upper Pennsylvanian-Asselian time.

In recent years,the liquid membrane process has been widely investigated to remove rare earth ***,transport modeling of this process requires the accurate values of several parameters,which are difficult to ***,the accurate simulation of this process is a challenging *** this study,the artificial neural network(ANN)based approach is used to model the liquid membrane process for removing *** results from a previous study were used to train the ***,the number of neurons in the hidden layer was *** minimum mean squared error between experimental results and model predictions is found with ten *** predictions were successfully validated with experimental results with correlation factor(R)of 0.9987,which confirms the authenticity of the trained *** ANN was then used to study the effects of different operating parameters on transport *** higher volume ratio of membrane solution to feed solution(3-4)with 50-60 min of operation,higher feed pH(5),HCl concentration in stripping solution of 2 mol/L,and moderate concentration of carrier species(0.5 mol/L)with 0.5×10^(-4) mol/L dysprosium initial concentration are found to be optimum values of operating conditions for maximizing the transport rate.
