AIM:To share the results of a national screening program for amblyopia in school children in the north of ***:This is a prospective national screening study for *** program rolls first and second-grade children(6 to 7 years old) in the north of *** eye examination included:best-corrected visual acuity,cover-uncover test,and cycloplegic *** visual acuity was tested using an ETDRs visual acuity chart without ***,children were tested with full cycloplegic refraction when the test criteria were *** amblyopia was defined as a best-corrected visual acuity difference of 2 or more *** comparison,bilateral amblyopia was defined as a best-corrected visual acuity of 20/40 or worse in the best ***:The prevalence of amblyopia for the total sample tested(n=17 203) was 2.78%(n=479).The most common cause of amblyopia was hypermetropia(64.45%),followed by previous ocular surgeries(15.1%),myopia(10.43%),strabismus(9.39%),and congenital cataract(0.63%).CONCLUsION:This is the first and only study,identifing modifiable risk factors in Jordanian children with *** their first couple of years of elementary education,many Jordanian children are affected by amblyopia and pass unnoticed.A more governmental effort is needed into screening programs to improve vision in the Jordanian population.

Objective:To investigate the effect of Rosa moschata(***)extract on haloperidol-induced Parkinson’s disease(PD)in ***:Haloperidol(1 mg/kg)was given to rats intraperitoneally for 3 weeks for induction of *** extract(150,300 and 600 mg/kg)was administered orally for 21 *** neuroprotective role of *** leaf extract in PD was explored by performing neurobehavioral tests and RT-PCR analysis and measuring neurotransmitters and oxidative stress ***:An improvement in motor functions and muscle strength was observed in PD rats treated with *** *** levels of dopamine,serotonin,noradrenaline,superoxide dismutase,catalase,glutathione,and superoxide dismutase were significantly increased(Ps acetylcholinesterase and malondialdehyde levels were markedly decreased by treatment with *** extract(Pso markedly downregulated the mRNA expressions of IL-1β,α-synuclein,IL-1α,and TNF-αin brain ***,histopathological analysis indicated that neurofibrillary tangles and plaques were noticeably decreased in a dose-dependent manner in PD rats treated with *** ***:*** extract alleviates haloperidol-induced PD in rats by reducing oxidative stress and *** may be used for management and treatment of *** additional studies are required to confirm its efficacy and molecular mechanisms.

Convective Heat and Mass Transfer in Magneto Jeffrey Fluid Flow on a Rotating Cone with Heat source and Chemical Reaction

The present paper addresses the megnetohydrodynamic Jeffrey fluid flow with heat and mass transfer on an infinitely rotating upright cone. Inquiry is carried out with heat source/sink and chemical reaction ***, constant thermal and concentration flux situations are imposed. Optimal homotopy analysis method (OHAM) is employed to achieve series solutions of the concerned differential equations. Important results of the flow phenomena are explored and deliberated by means of graphs and numerical tables. It is perceived that thermal boundary layer thickness possess contrast variations for the heat source and heat sink, respectively. The chemical reaction enhances the heat transfer rate but decline the mass transfer rate. Moreover, the precision of the existing findings is verified by associating them with the previously available work.

Axisymmetric Powell-Eyring fluid flow with convective boundary condition: optimal analysis

The effects of axisymmetric flow of a Powell-Eyring fluid over an impermeable radially stretching surface are presented. Characteristics of the heat transfer process are analyzed with a more realistic condition named the convective boundary condition. Governing equations for the flow problem are derived by the boundary layer approximations. The modeled highly coupled partial differential system is converted into a system of ordinary differential equations with acceptable similarity transformations. The convergent series solutions for the resulting system are constructed and analyzed. Optimal values are obtained and presented in a numerical form using an optimal homotopy analysis method （OHAM）. The rheological characteristics of different parameters of the velocity and temperature profiles are presented graphically. Tabular variations of the skin friction coefficient and the Nusselt number are also calculated. It is observed that the temperature distribution shows opposite behavior for Prandtl and Biot numbers. Furthermore, the rate of heating/cooling is higher for both the Prandtl and Biot numbers.

YOLOCsP-PEsT for Crops Pest Localization and Classification

Preservation of the crops depends on early and accurate detection of pests on crops as they cause several diseases decreasing crop production and quality. several deep-learning techniques have been applied to overcome the issue of pest detection on crops. We have developed the YOLOCsP-PEsT model for Pest localization and classification. With the Cross stage Partial Network (CsPNET) backbone, the proposed model is a modified version of You Only Look Once Version 7 (YOLOv7) that is intended primarily for pest localization and classification. Our proposed model gives exceptionally good results under conditions that are very challenging for any other comparable models especially conditions where we have issues with the luminance and the orientation of the images. It helps farmers working out on their crops in distant areas to determine any infestation quickly and accurately on their crops which helps in the quality and quantity of the production yield. The model has been trained and tested on 2 datasets namely the IP102 data set and a local crop data set on both of which it has shown exceptional results. It gave us a mean average precision (mAP) of 88.40% along with a precision of 85.55% and a recall of 84.25% on the IP102 dataset meanwhile giving a mAP of 97.18% on the local data set along with a recall of 94.88% and a precision of 97.50%. These findings demonstrate that the proposed model is very effective in detecting real-life scenarios and can help in the production of crops improving the yield quality and quantity at the same time.
