对粉末冶金法制备的含5%(体积分数)Ti_(2)Sn CMAX相的初始复合材料进行搅拌摩擦反挤压(FSBE)处理,研究FSBE工艺的轴向横移速度对Cu-Ti_(2)Sn C复合线材显微组织、力学性能、电学性能和磨损性能的影响。结果表明,随着挤压速度的增加,显微组织中孪晶增多,Ti_(2)SnC颗粒细化,MAX相和Cu基体之间的界面结合改善。当转速为600r/min,轴向横移速度为25mm/min时,Cu-Ti_(2)SnC复合线材具有最大的硬度、屈服强度和极限抗拉强度,分别为HV 132.7、278.34MPa和485.15MPa,这是其更强的界面结合和更细的MAX相导致的。此外,当转速为600 r/min,轴向横移速度为25 mm/min时,Cu-Ti_(2)SnC复合丝的电导率最高,达到89.21%(IACS),磨损率最低,为0.0015 mg/m,这是其更大的晶粒尺寸、更强的界面结合与更低的密度导致的。

In this study, porous titanium-10 wt% bioglass(BG) composites were fabricated by the process of combining mechanical alloying with space holder sintering. The pore morphology and phase constituents of the milled powders and porous compacts were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffractometry(XRD), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR). The mechanical properties were determined by running compression test. The porosity of the sintered samples shows a downward trend with the increase of milling time. As the porosity increases, both the compressive strength and elastic modulus decrease. The results illustrate that the fabricated porous compacts with high porosity and suitable mechanical properties have the potential application in bone tissue engineering.

An extraction-spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of fluconazole was described. Fluconazole was effectively extracted as a 1 ： 1 ion-pair complex with bromocresole green （BCG） at pH 3.0 into chloroform, followed by spectrophotometric determination at 420 nm. Beer＇s law was obeyed over the range of 4-50 μ***^-1 of fluconazole with a detection limit of 3.7 μ***^-1 . The method is simple, rapid and sensitive. The procedure was applied to the determination of fluconazole in pharmaceutical preparations as well as its recovery from a blood serum sample.

·AIM:To evaluate the effect of Intacs SK corneal ring segment implant for treatment of patients with moderate to severe keratoconus, who have clear central cornea and cannot tolerate contact lens. ·METHODS:In this prospective, non-comparative, intervent- ional case series study performed in Dena Hospital, Shiraz, Iran, thirty-seven eyes of thirty-six patients with moderate to severe keratoconus, clear central cornea, and contact lens intolerance were enrolled and underwent Intacs SK corneal ring segment implantation. Preoperatively, uncorrected distance visual acuity (UCDVA), best-corrected distance visual acuity (BCDVA), central corneal thickness(CCT) and average keratometry (Av-K) were measured and compared with post-operative results at one week, one month, three months, and six months. ·RESULTS:Mean preoperative UCDVA and BCDVA were (1.32±0.31) logMAR and (1.07±0.27) logMAR, respectively. Av-K was (52.13±0.39)D, and the CCT was (432±39.5)μm. Post-operative examinations showed a clinically significant improvement in both UCDVA and BCDVA (P <0.001). There was also a significant effect based on the time of assessment on both UCDVA and BCDVA and both parameters had a continuous improvement during the follow-up period. Three months after operation there was a statistical significant reduction of Av-K (P =0.0001), but there were no significant changes in CCT (P =0.149). ·CONCLUSION:Intacs SK corneal ring segment implants seem to be a safe and effective treatment option for patients who have keratoconus, clear central cornea, and contact lens intolerance.

AIM: To compare higher order aberrations in two aspherical intraocular lenses(IOLs): Akreos advanced optics(AO) and Dr. Schmidt Microcrystalline 6125 aspheric anterior surface(MC6125AS) with each other. METHODS: Forty eyes of 39 patients underwent phacoemulsification and Akreos AO and MC6125 AS were implanted in their eyes in a random manner. Three months post-operatively, higher order aberrations including spherical aberration, coma aberration, and total aberrations were measured and ***: The total aberration was 0.24±0.17 in eyes with Dr. Schmidt and 0.20 ±0.01 in eyes with Akreos AO(P =0.361). The mean of coma aberration was 0.17 ±0.21 and 0.09 ±0.86 in Dr. Schmidt and Akreos lenses,respectively(P =0.825). Total spherical aberration was almost the same in both groups(mean: 0.05, P =0.933).Best corrected visual acuity in Akreos AO(0.10±0.68) and Dr. Schmidt(0.09±0.67) did not differ significantly(P =0.700). CONCLUSION: There is no statistically significant difference in the higher order aberrations between these two aspherical lenses.

Comparison of corneal measurements in keratoconic eyes using rotating Scheimpflug camera and scanning-slit topography

AIM: To compare the anterior segment measurements obtained by rotating Scheimpflug camera(Pentacam) and Scanning-slit topography(Orbscan IIz) in keratoconic ***: A total of 121 patients, 71 males(58.7%)and 50 females(41.3%)(214 eyes) with the diagnosis of keratoconus(KC) were enrolled in this study. Following diagnosis of KC by slit-lamp biomicroscopic examination, central corneal thickness(CCT), thinnest corneal thickness(TCT), anterior chamber depth(ACD),and pupil diameter(PD) were measured by a single examiner using successive instrumentation by Pentacam and ***: There was no significant difference between the two instruments for the measurement of CCT and TCT. In contrast, scanning-slit topography measured ACD(3.46±0.40 mm vs 3.38±0.33 mm, P =0.019) and PD(4.97 ±1.26 mm vs 4.08 ±1.19 mm, P <0.001) significantly larger than rotating Scheimpflug *** two devices made similar measurements for CCT(95% CI:-2.94 to5.06, P =0.602). However, the mean difference for TCT was-6.28(95% CI:-10.51 to-2.06, P =0.004) showing a thinner measurement by Orbscan than by Pentacam. In terms of the ACD, the mean difference was 0.08 mm(95%CI: 0.04 to 0.12, P <0.001) with Orbscan giving a slightly larger value than Pentacam. Similarly, Orbscan measurement for PD was longer than Pentacam(95% CI:0.68 to 1.08, P <0.001).CONCLUSION: A good agreement was found between Pentacam and Orbscan concerning CCT measurement while comparing scanning-slit topography and rotatingScheimpflug camera there was an underestimation for TCT and overestimation for ACD and PD.

AIM：To investigate the clinical outcomes of different intubation techniques in the cases of failed primary ***： This retrospective study was performed on338 patients with the diagnosis of congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction with age 1-4y that had failed primary *** was performed under light sedation in operating room and the stent was left 3mo in *** outcome was investigated 3mo after tube ***： Bicanalicular intubation method had higher complete and relative success rates compared to monocanalicular intubation（P =0.00）.In addition,Monoka intubation had better outcomes compared to Masterka technique（P =0.046）.No difference was found between genders but the higher the age,the better the outcomes with bicanalicular technique rather than ***： Overall success rate of bicanalicular intubation is superior to monocanalicular technique especially in older ***,based upon our clinical outcomes,Masterka intubation is not recommended in cases of failed probing.
