The accurate representation of tribological boundary conditions at the tool–workpiece interface is crucial for analysis and optimization of formability,material flow,and surface quality of components during metal forming *** has been found that these tribological conditions vary spatially and historically with process parameters and contact *** time-dependent tribological behaviours are also known as transient tribological phenomena,which are widely observed during forming processes and many other manufacturing application ***,constant friction values are usually assigned to represent complex and dynamic interfacial conditions,which would introduce deviations in the relevant *** this paper,transient tribological phenomena and the contemporary understanding of the interaction between friction and wear are reviewed,and it has been found that these phenomena are induced by the transitions of friction mechanisms and highly dependent on complex loading conditions at the *** modelling techniques for transient behaviours for metal forming applications are also *** accurately describe the evolutionary friction values and corresponding wear during forming,the advanced interactive friction modelling has been established for different application scenarios,including lubricated condition,dry sliding condition(metal-on-metal contact),and coated system.

The transient tribological phenomenon and premature lubricant breakdown have been widely observed in metal forming,leading to excessive friction at the contact *** this research,the transient tribological behaviour of a two-phase lubricant were studied under complex loading conditions,featuring abrupt interfacial temperature,contact load,and sliding speed changes,thus representing the severe interfacial conditions observed in warm/hot metal forming *** strong experimental evidence indicates that the evolution of friction was attributed to the physical diminution and chemical decomposition *** such,a visco-mechanochemical interactive friction model was developed to accurately predict the transient tribological behaviour of the two-phase lubricant under complex loading *** new friction model exhibited close agreements between the modelling and experimental results.

This study is trying to address the critical need for efficient routing in mobile Ad Hoc Networks(mANETs)from dynamic topologies that pose great challenges because of the mobility of *** objective was to delve into and refine the application of the Dijkstra’s algorithm in this context,a method conventionally esteemed for its efficiency in static ***,this paper has carried out a comparative theoretical analysis with the Bellman-Ford algorithm,considering adaptation to the dynamic network conditions that are typical for *** paper has shown through detailed algorithmic analysis that Dijkstra’s algorithm,when adapted for dynamic updates,yields a very workable solution to the problem of real-time routing in *** results indicate that with these changes,Dijkstra’s algorithm performs much better computationally and 30%better in routing optimization than Bellman-Ford when working with configurations of sparse *** theoretical framework adapted,with the adaptation of the Dijkstra’s algorithm for dynamically changing network topologies,is novel in this work and quite different from any traditional *** adaptation should offer more efficient routing and less computational overhead,most apt in the limited resource environment of ***,from these findings,one may derive a conclusion that the proposed version of Dijkstra’s algorithm is the best and most feasible choice of the routing protocol for mANETs given all pertinent key performance and resource consumption indicators and further that the proposed method offers a marked improvement over traditional *** paper,therefore,operationalizes the theoretical model into practical scenarios and also further research with empirical simulations to understand more about its operational effectiveness.

This paper contributes a sophisticated statistical method for the assessment of performance in routing protocols salient mobile Ad Hoc Network(mANET)routing protocols:Destination Sequenced Distance Vector(DSDV),Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector(AODV),Dynamic Source Routing(DSR),and Zone Routing Protocol(ZRP).In this paper,the evaluation will be carried out using complete sets of statistical tests such as Kruskal-Wallis,mann-Whitney,and *** articulates a systematic evaluation of how the performance of the previous protocols varies with the number of nodes and the mobility *** study is premised upon the Quality of Service(QoS)metrics of throughput,packet delivery ratio,and end-to-end delay to gain an adequate understanding of the operational efficiency of each protocol under different network *** findings explained significant differences in the performance of different routing protocols;as a result,decisions for the selection and optimization of routing protocols can be taken effectively according to different network *** paper is a step forward in the general understanding of the routing dynamics of mANETs and contributes significantly to the strategic deployment of robust and efficient network infrastructures.

Objective: This case report aimed to highlight intersections of TB and Cardiovasular diseases which carry high morbidity and mortality rates. methods: We are reporting the surgical management of forty seven years female who had back ground history of IDDm (Insulin dependent diabetic mellitus), ESRD (End stage renal disease) on HD (haemodialysis) also she had left subclavian artery stenosis, and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. She was diagnosed with mitral valve infective endocarditis and found accidently to have an open pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) on the day before surgery. Results: She was started on first line anti-TB treatment. She was isolated in her private room and airborne precautions measures applied. The patient underwent a tissue mitral Valve replacement and tricuspid valve repair annuloplasty. Special precautions were applied in Theatre and on cardiopulmonary bypass machine guided by KAmC-J disinfection protocol. The patient made good recovery postoperatively. She was discharged well on day 7 post operatively. Conclusion: Intersections of TB and cardiovasular diseases carry high morbidity and mortality rates. Early diagnosis and early anti tuberculosis treatment can surely improve the patient prognosis. Our decontamination and disinfective procedures are recommended. Cases like this should be monitored long term for the development of further cardiovascular complication.

α-moO_3 ordered nanosheets have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions using commercial moO_3 and hydroquinone as structuring agent. X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscope(SEm) and transmission electron microscopy(TEm) were used to analyse the obtained material. The conductivity mechanism of the molybdenum ordered nanosheets has been investigated using combined complex impedance and modulus *** temperature dependence of the conductivity, which was between 473 and 573 K, is very close to the Arrhenius' law, with an activation energy of 0.76 eV. However, the conductivity of the material increases with temperature. It shows a typical negative temperature coefficient resistance(NTCR) similar to that of a semiconductor. The dielectric properties of the moO_3 compound have been studied in the temperature range of 473-573 K as well as the frequency range of 10 Hz to 13 mHz. The ac-conductivity for high frequency σac(ω)obeys the universal power law.

BACKGROUND: An increasing number of elderly patients have been considered for major surgical procedures, such as pancreaticoduodenectomy. The decision to recommend this operation for localized pancreatic cancer or other periampullary process in a very elderly patient is complicated by the frailty of the patient and the poor prognosis of the disease. moreover, increased surgical experience associated with better patient selection may reduce the mortality rate, even in very elderly patients (over 80 years of age), after pancreaticoduodenectomy. mETHODS: An 84-year-old woman underwent pancreatico- duodenectomy for ampullary adenocarcinoma. The tumor was classified pT3N0m0. RESULT: A good postoperative outcome was obtained. The patient is still alive, 18 months after operation. CONCLUSIONS: Radical resection of periampullary tumors is safe in selected patients of advanced age, with morbidity and mortality rates approaching those observed in younger patients. Age alone should not be a contraindication for pancreatic resection.

近期,美国中部诱发地震的活动演变亟需详尽的编目结果,以提升地震灾害评估能力。在过去的几十年里,地震事件的数据量呈指数增长,这就需要一种高效的算法可靠地检测和定位地震。目前最复杂的方法是通过对大量连续地震记录进行扫描,寻找重复的地震信号。我们根据人工智能领域最新进展提出了ConvNetQuake,它是一个高度可扩展的卷积神经网络,应用单一波形进行地震检测和定位。我们将该技术应用于美国俄克拉何马州的诱发地震活动研究。我们检测到的地震事件数量超过了俄克拉何马州地质调查局之前编目结果的17倍之多。我们算法的处理速度较已有的方法快数个数量级。
