Etiology of Pancytopenia in Tabriz Shahid Ghazi Hospital:A Cross-sectional Study in Iran

Objective:Pancytopenia is characterized by a reduction in all three types of blood cells:erythrocytes,leukocytes,and *** is caused by a wide range of diseases,leading to diagnostic *** causes can range from drug reactions to life-threatening diseases such as aplastic anemia and *** study aims to investigate the causes of pancytopenia,specifically focusing on age and gender differences among ***:This cross-sectional study includes patients of all ages diagnosed with pancytopenia,as indicated by a CBC/H1 showing a WBC count less than 4,000/μL,platelet count less than 150,000/μL,and hemoglobin levels below 12 g/dL in women and less than 13 g/dL in *** study only included patients with pancytopenia who underwent bone marrow examination and were not subjected to chemotherapy or radiation ***:A total of 133 patients with pancytopenia were included in the *** average age was 47.35±17.62 years old,with 66%of the participants being male and 34%being *** leukemia,specifically acute myeloid leukemia(AML)and acute lymphoid leukemia(ALL),was identified as the primary cause of pancytopenia,accounting for 31.5%of *** anemia was the second most common cause,accounting for 30%of cases,followed by aplastic anemia at 7.5%.Conclusion:Pancytopenia,a condition marked by the decrease in both erythrocytes and leukocytes as well as thrombocytes,can arise from a myriad of *** main findings of this study revealed that megaloblastic anemia,acute myeloid leukemia(AML),and acute lymphoid leukemia(ALL)were the most common ***,a considerable proportion of cases of pancytopenia can be attributed to acute ***,expeditious and accurate diagnosis is imperative and has the potential to save lives in such cases.

Numerical Simulation of the Mechanical Properties of Sintered and Bonded Perforated Hollow Sphere Structures (PHSS)

This paper investigated the uniaxial mechanical properties of a new type of hollow sphere structures. For this new type, the sphere shell was perforated by several holes in order to open the inner sphere volume and surface. The mechanical properties, i.e. elastic properties and initial yield stress of perforated hollow sphere structures （PHSS） in a primitive cubic arrangement were numerically evaluated for different hole diameters and different joining techniques of the hollow spheres. The results are compared to classical configurations without perforation.

Adjuvant activity of Pasteurella multocida A strain,Pasteurella multocida B strain and Salmonella typhimurium bacterial DNA on cellular and humoral immunity responses against Pasteurella multocida specific strain infections in Balb/c mice

Objective: To evaluate the effects of Pasteurella multocida(P. multocida) vaccines on the expression and release of antibodies, interleukin(IL)-6 and IL-12 by serum. Methods: Balb/c mice were immunized with two formalin and iron inactivated vaccine doses within 2 weeks. The vaccines were adjuvant with P. multocida A strain, P. multocida B strain and Salmonella typhimurium bacterial DNA(AbDNA, BbDNA and SbDNA for short, respectively). The animals were challenged 4 weeks after immunization. Blood of mice was collected to detect the change of specific antibody, IL-6, and IL-12 using ELISA. Results: The specific antibody and interleukins in the immunized group increased significantly compared to the control mice after vaccination and challenge(P<0.05). The highest release of these cytokines was obtained by *** inactivated with iron and adjuvant with AbDNA at a concentration of 25 μg/mL. The antibody titer peak was 0.447 in mice vaccinated with iron-killed whole-cell antigen adjunct with AbDNA. The time-courses of release showed that bacterial DNA was able to stimulate IL-6 and IL-12 production more than alum(P<0.05). Conclusions: Our findings introduce that bacterial DNA is capable of releasing an immunological response with several *** indicate that bacterial DNA entrapped with killed P. multocida antigen is a new and effective adjuvant to enhance specific immunity and resistance of animal against the infectious pathogen, which could simplify the development of highly promising strong adjuvant.

Assessment of electrostatic discharge sensitivity of nitrogen-rich heterocyclic energetic compounds and their salts as high energy-density dangerous compounds:A study of structural variables

Nitrogen-rich heterocyclic energetic compounds(NRHECs)and their salts have witnessed widespread synthesis in recent *** substantial energy-density content within these compounds can lead to potentially dangerous explosive reactions when subjected to external stimuli such as electrical ***,developing a reliable model for predicting their electrostatic discharge sensitivity(ESD)becomes *** study proposes a novel and straightforward model based on the presence of specific groups(-NH_(2) or-NH-,-N=N^(+)-O^(-)and-NNO_(2),-ONO_(2) or-NO_(2))under certain conditions to assess the ESD of NRHECs and their salts,employing interpretable structural *** a comprehensive dataset comprising 54 ESD measurements of NRHECs and their salts,divided into 49/5 training/test sets,the model achieves promising *** Root Mean Square Error(RMSE),Mean Absolute Error(MAE),and Maximum Error for the training set are reported as 0.16 J,0.12 J,and 0.5 J,***,the ratios RMSE(training)/RMSE(test),MAE(training)/MAE(test),and Max Error(training)/Max Error(test)are all greater than 1.0,indicating the robust predictive capabilities of the *** presented model demonstrates its efficacy in providing a reliable assessment of ESD for the targeted NRHECs and their salts,without the need for intricate computer codes or expert involvement.

Wettability modification effects on relative permeability end-points:Comparative analysis of surfactant agents for enhanced oil recovery

This research examines the impact of wettability alteration on the end points of relative permeability,a crucial property of fluids and porous media that influences the displacement processes of immiscible fluids through such *** estimation of the mobility ratio for oil recovery relies on these end points,which are influenced by connate water saturation and residual oil *** investigate this relationship,carbonate rock is generally subjected to wettability alteration using surfactant agents,and core flooding is employed to determine the relative permeability before and after the *** wettability of the rock is commonly assessed through contact angle *** surfactants,TritonX-100(Tx-100)and Cedar,were tested in reducing the wettability of the porous media for *** contact angle measurements revealed that Tx-100 was more effective for this purpose than ***,the relative permeability tests indicated that both surfactants decreased residual oil saturation,but Tx-100 also improved system *** contrast,Cedar reduced residual oil saturation but increased system pressure,possibly because of its high *** results also demonstrate that injecting Tx-100 leads to a 14%increase in ultimate oil recovery compared with water injection,while Cedar injection increased the recovery factor by 5%.This difference may be attributed to the incomplete coverage of the pore wall by Cedar or its weaker chemical structure than ***,in carbonate cores,neither non-ionic surfactant enhanced oil recovery.

Developing a phenomenological model to simulate single and mixed scale formation during flow in porous media:Coupling a salt precipitation model with an ion transport equation under dynamic conditions

Water flooding and pressure maintenance are recommended to improve oil recovery practices after low recovery of petroleum reservoirs occurs during primary *** crystal formation is a frequent occurrence when using these *** experimental,numerical,and theoretical studies have been done on the mechanisms underlying scaling and permeability reduction in porous media;however,there has not been a satisfactory model *** study developed a phenomenological model to predict formation damage caused by salt *** with existing models,which provide a scaling tendency,the proposed model predicts the profile of scale *** salt precipitation model simulates reactive fluid flow through porous media.A thermodynamic,kinetic,and flow hydrodynamic model was developed and coupled with the ion transport equation to describe the movement of ***,a set of carefully designed dynamic experiments were conducted and the data were compared with the model *** forecasts and experimental data were observed to have an average absolute error(AAE)ranging from 0.68%to 5.94%,which indicates the model's suitability.
