Facies Interpretation, Depositional Environment and Sequence Stratigraphy of the Sartakht Formation in the Bakhshi Section, Located in Kalmard Block, East-Central Iran

Permian rocks in Kalmard block are recognized with khan Group, enjoying various characteristics in different outcrops. This group is made up of three informal formations, namely Chili, Sartakht and Hermez. Middle Permian deposits (Sartakht formation) are composed chiefly of sandstone and carbonate rocks. This formation is composed of 58.6 m sandstone and dolomitic limestone in the Bakhshi section. Lower Permian carbonate deposits (Chili formation) unconformably underlie this formation while lateritic paleosols of upper Permian (Hermez formation) are depicted overlying an erosional unconformity above this formation. According to lithologic and microscopic investigations, the deposits of Sartakht formation can be divided into 2 siliciclastic petrofacies and 12 carbonate microfacies. Field observations, along with microscopic examinations, have resulted in identifying tidal flat, lagoon, shoal and open marine environments in the rocks of the studied formation. Vertical changes of microfacies and depth variation curve point to the high thickness of the microfacies of lagoon and shoal environments and low thickness of the microfacies of tidal flat and open marine environments. The carbonate-siliciclastic sequence of Sartakht formation is made up of a third-order depositional sequence, separated from carbonate depositions of lower Permian (Chili formation) and lateritic paleosols of upper Permian by type 1 sequence boundary (SB1). Siliciclastic deposits include LST system tract, and carbonate microfacies involve TST and HST system tracts, separated from each other by MFS. Sartakht formation rocks in Bakhshi section are deposited in a low-angle homoclinal ramp, mostly in the inner ramp, located in the south of Paleotethys Ocean. The depositional sequence identified in Sartakht formation points to the age of middle Permian, conforming to middle Absaroka II supersequence. The relationship between <i>Helicobacter pylori</i>disease and bacterial count in stomach

Several studies showed significant relationships between bacterial counts and the severity and type of disease in patients. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between Helicobacter pylori disease and bacterial count. In this study, 287 patients with dyspeptic symptoms were evaluated. Three variables including patient-reported data, clinical signs and bacterial load of gastric specimens were analyzed. Biopsy samples were collected from patients who were referred for endoscopies because of dyspeptic symptoms. Initially, the clinical status was evaluated and recorded by a questionnaire. DNA extraction was performed and H. pylori was analyzed for bacterial count by Real-time PCR assay and specific primers and probe. The variety range of bacteria in specimens was 104 to 1012. The results revealed that a greater relationships existed between 1012 and gastric cancer (p = 0.036), also 104 and acid reflux (p = 0.006) and vomiting (p = 0.047). Real-time PCR assay provides a highly accurate, rapid and precise method for detection of H. pylori and determination of progressive disease due to this bacterium.

Data release 2(DR2) from the Gaia mission was of great help in precise determination of fundamental parameters of Close Visual Binary and Multiple Systems(CVBMSs), especially masses of their components, which are crucial parameters in understanding formation and evolution of stars and galaxies. This article presents the complete set of fundamental parameters for two nearby close visual binary systems(CVBSs), which are HIP 19206 and HIP 84425. We utilised a combination of two methods;the first one is Tokovinin's dynamical method to solve the orbit of the system and to estimate orbital elements and the dynamical mass sum, and the second one is Al-Wardat's method for analysing CVBMSs to estimate the physical parameters of the individual components. The latest method employs grids of Kurucz lineblanketed plane parallel model atmospheres to build synthetic Spectral Energy Distributions(SEDs) of the individual components. Trigonometric parallax measurements given by Gaia DR2 and Hipparcos catalogues are used to analyse the two systems. The difference in these measurements yielded slight discrepancies in the fundamental parameters of the individual components, especially masses. So, a new dynamical parallax is suggested in this work based on the most convenient mass sum as given by each of the two methods. The new dynamical parallax for the system HIP 19205 of 22.97±0.95 mas coincides well with the trigonometric one reported recently(in December 2020) by Gaia EDR3 of 22.3689 ± 0.4056 mas. The positions of the components of the two systems on the evolutionary tracks and isochrones are plotted, which suggest that all components are solar-type main sequence stars. Their most probable formation and evolution scenarios are also discussed.

The Relationship between Recurrent Spine Surgery and Employment Status

Background: What is the quantitative relationship between repeated surgical intervention and unemployment in the spine surgery population? And, does the literature pay sufficient attention to this important aspect of spine surgery outcome? Methods: This was a retrospective review of 905 patients of working age undergoing one of three types of spine surgery. The index surgery at the time of the study was either on the cervical or lumbar spine. We retrospectively collected data on patients’ employment status and history of prior spine surgery. In this study, history of prior spine surgery was coded using two nominal (categorical) variables: The number of previous spine surgeries (0, 1, 2, ≥3) and the variability of location of previous spine surgeries (cervical, lumbar). We also looked into scientific publications related to spine surgery and probed “employment” and “reoperation” awareness in randomized controlled trials (RCTs). In addition, we queried some common factors that are known to play an important role in exacerbating the unemployment problem, such as opioid (ab)use and depression. Results: The unemployment rate was 19.4% among males and 34.8% among females. Unemployment rate correlated with the number of previous spine surgery (r = 0.077, p = 0.020), opioid use (r = 0.080, p = 0.017) and being on antidepressants (r = 0.119, p = 0.000). The unemployment rate was sta-tistically different (χ2 = 10.656, p = 0.014) among patients with different numbers of previous spine surgeries: 25.6% of de novo patients versus 28.1% of patients with one previous spine surgery, 32.7% of patients with two previous spine surgeries and 48.7% of patients with three or more previous spine surgeries. Females had significantly higher unemployment rate if they had three or more previous spine surgeries in their past (31.4%, 34.4%, 46.2% versus 83.3%, χ2 = 21.841, p = 0.000). 为了合理预防成本偏差、提高成本系统(CS)的鲁棒性,文章构建最新的时间驱动作业成本系统(TDABC)的成本计算矩阵模型,界定归集、标定与计量三类误差,并运用仿真实验方法找出上述三类误差对成本总误差的影响规律。得到的主要结论有:第一,同一个资源库中的产能成本和实际产能之间的计量误差有相互抵消作用;第二,局部改进成本系统中的计量误差、标定误差能降低CS输出的成本信息的总误差,但资源库实际产能也存在误差时总误差会先减后增;第三,降低成本系统中的归集误差能降低成本系统总误差,但实际产能产生计量误差时会发生例外的情况。本研究为TDABC成本系统的实施提供了理论参考。

Assessment the Effectiveness of Preparedness for Relative Constant Factors in Environmental Disaster Management: A Case Study from Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia

The preparedness phase is considered as backbone of environmental disaster management. The aim of this study is to identify the effect of relatively constant factors of preparedness phase on environmental disaster management in Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia. The study used descriptive and analytical approach besides the comprehensive survey depends upon questionnaire for purposive data surveyed all employees in the field of environmental disaster management in Riyadh city including administrations, department, and contains 21 sector including public and private sector for total population of about 397 persons and sample size about 353 persons using statistical tests, frequencies, percentage, average, standard deviation and t test and × square test as well as Likert procedure on which depends on the measurement such as: very high, high, average, weak and very weak. The main results reveal that the constant factors of environmental disaster management are more important for evaluating the preparedness phase. Since the relatively constant factors of environmental disaster management are more important. The study recommends that: 1) Enhancement of the systems and procedures in particular disaster management procedures. 2) It is so necessary to publish a new unit for disaster management in the sectors have not. 3) Increase and encouragement of environmental disaster management studies in particular for preparedness phase because it considers as backbone of disaster management and suggestion of regional and local organizations link generally and in information trade off and the details studies in particular by providing the different types of support and encouragement.

Microfacies and Sedimentary Environments of the Fahliyan Formation from the Southwest of Iran (Shiraz, Zagros)

The Fahliyan Formation is a carbonate sequence of Lower Cretaceous (Berriasian-Hauterivian) in age and was deposited in the Zagros sedimentary basin. This formation is a part of Khami Group and is a reservoir rock in Zagros Basin. This formation was investigated by a detailed petrographic analysis in order to clarify the depositional facies and sedimentary environment in the Kuh-e-Gadvan in Fars Province. Petrographic studies led to the recognition of nine microfacies that were deposited in four facies belts: tidal flat, lagoon, and barrier and shallow open-marine. An absence of turbidite deposits, reefal facies, and gradual facies changes indicate that the Fahliyan Formation was deposited on a carbonate ramp.
