The numbers of cases and deaths due to the COVID-19 virus have increased daily all around the *** X-ray is considered very useful and less time-consuming for monitoring COVID *** doubt,X-ray is considered as a quick screening method,but due to variations in features of images which are of X-rays category with Corona confirmed cases,the domain expert is *** address this issue,we proposed to utilize deep learning *** this study,the dataset of COVID-19,lung opacity,viral pneumonia,and lastly healthy patients’images of category X-rays are utilized to evaluate the performance of the Swin transformer for predicting the COVID-19 patients *** performance of the Swin transformer is compared with the other seven deep learning models,including ResNet50,DenseNet121,InceptionV3,EfficientNetB2,VGG19,ViT,CaIT,Swim transformer provides 98%recall and 96%accuracy on corona affected images of the X-ray *** proposed approach is also compared with state-of-the-art techniques for COVID-19 diagnosis,and proposed technique is found better in terms of *** system could support clin-icians in screening patients for COVID-19,thus facilitating instantaneous treatment for better effects on the health of COVID-19 ***,this paper can contribute to saving humanity from the adverse effects of trials that the Corona virus might bring by performing an accurate diagnosis over Corona-affected patients.

BackgroundThe COVID-19 pandemic posed a danger to global public health because of the unprecedented physical,mental,social,and environmental impact affecting quality of life(QoL).The study aimed to find the changes in QoL among COVID-19 recovered individuals and explore the determinants of change more than 1 year after recovery in low-resource ***-19 patients from all eight divisions of Bangladesh who were confirmed positive by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction from June 2020 to November 2020 and who subsequently recovered were followed up twice,once immediately after recovery and again 1 year after the first *** follow-up study was conducted from November 2021 to January 2022 among 2438 individuals using the World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief Version(WHOQOL-BREF).After excluding 48 deaths,95 were rejected to participate,618 were inaccessible,and there were 45 cases of incomplete *** statistics,paired-sample analyses,generalized estimating equation(GEE)analysis,and multivariable logistic regression analyses were performed to test the mean difference in participants’QoL scores between the two *** participants(n=1710,70.1%)were male,and one-fourth(24.4%)were older than *** average physical domain score decreased significantly from baseline to follow-up,and the average scores in psychological,social,and environmental domains increased significantly at follow-up(P<0.05).By the GEE equation approach,after adjusting for other factors,we found that older age groups(P<0.001),being female(P<0.001),having hospital admission during COVID-19 illness(P<0.001),and having three or more chronic diseases(P<0.001),were significantly associated with lower physical and psychological QoL *** age and female sex[adjusted odd ratio(aOR)=1.3,95%confidence interval(CI)1.0–1.6]were associated with reduced social domain scores on multivariable logistic regression *** or semi-urban peo

The electrooxidation of L-cysteine（L-Cys） was studied using a benzoylferrocene（BF） modified multi-wall carbon nanotube paste electrode（BFCNPE） using cyclic voltammetry（CV）,square wave voltammetry（SWV） and chronoamperometry（CHA）.Under optimum pH in CV the oxidation of L-Cys occurs at a potential about 215 mV less positive than that at the surface of unmodified carbon paste *** catalytic oxidation peak currents were dependent on the L-Cys concentration and a linear calibration curve was obtained in the range 0.7-350.0 mmol/L of L-Cys with SWV *** detection limit（3s） was determined as 0.1 mmol/*** method was also used for the determination of L-Cys in some real samples.

Catalytic Reduction of Textile Dyes by N-Doped Ti-Melamine Capped Ag₂S Nano Composites

Waste water expulsion containing toxic and hazardous ingredients from textile industry is one of the biggest concerns in this modern age. N-doped nano composites as an efficient catalyst are playing a significant role in reducing the toxicity of that textile effluent. N-doped Ti-Mel capped Ag2S NCs (N-Ti-C/Ag2S NCs) and N-doped TiO2 capped Ag2S NCs (TiO2/Ag2S NCs) were synthesized via calcinations at 700°C, whereas Ag2S NCs was prepared by simple hydrothermal treatment process at 120°C and confirmed by FTIR and SEM (EDX). N-Ti-C/Ag2S NCs were applied in presence of reducing agent NaBH4 with a green method to decolorize the textile dyes Levafix Amber RR (LA) and Remazol Blue RR (RB). Moreover, Ag2S NCs, TiO2/Ag2S NCs, NaBH4 and TiO2 were also investigated. Using UV-visible spectroscopy the progress time was measured to decolorize textile dye RB and completed within 3.15 mins, 12.15 mins, 12.15 mins for N-Ti-C/Ag2S NCs, Ag2S NCs and TiO2/Ag2S NCs respectively, while for LA the catalytic reduction taken for the same NCs was 8.15 mins, 12.15 mins and 30.15 mins respectively. N-Ti-C/Ag2S NCs based catalyst afforded excellent catalytic reduction activity in both cases. Interestingly the effect of NaBH4 itself and TiO2 in presence of NaBH4 was less than 5% after 30 mins. Finally, the reusability for Ti-Mel capped Ag2S NCs evaluated up to four cycles.

Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis (CRMO): An Unusual Presentation of Limb Pain

Chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO), known as nonbacterial osteomyelitis, is an autoinflammatory disease with periodic exacerbations, also known as nonbacterial osteomyelitis. It is a rare, noninfectious inflammatory disorder characterized by multifocal bony lesions with pain. Conventional X-ray and CT imaging show multiple osteolytic and sclerotic lesions in the affected limbs. It is a great challenge for pediatricians to diagnose this disease for its rarity. Early diagnosis, regular follow-up and appropriate treatments are mandatory to reduce morbidity and prevent these disease complications. We report here two cases of CRMO who presented with pain, swelling and redness of multiple sites of lower limbs from the Department of Paediatrics, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). Clinical features, laboratory findings, and characteristic radiological findings were strongly suggestive of CRMO.

Generally, ring spun yarns are manufactured from roving which is produced by roving frame. In this paper, an experiment has been done producing ring spun cotton yarn directly from finisher drawn sliver eliminating the roving frame. Total 3 types of yarn with the various linear density of 8 Ne, 10 Ne & 12 Ne were produced using a roving frame and without using a roving frame. In the next step, physical and mechanical properties of those yarns including unevenness, imperfections, hairiness & tenacity were investigated. The result showed that ring spun cotton yarns produced from sliver exhibited inferior physical and mechanical properties compared with samples from the conventional ring spinning system.

Status of Renal and Liver Function in Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Patients of Chattogram, Bangladesh Treated with Methotrexate (MTX)

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disorder that is usually manifested as inflammation in multiple joints and several extra-articular symptoms, involving the liver, kidney, eye, skin, blood, blood vessels, heart, lungs, nervous system, and other organs. Methotrexate (MTX) is the anchor drug that treats RA. As renal and liver abnormalities are more common during disease conditions as well as during the treatment period, we tried to find out if there is any impact of MTX in these organs during the treatment of RA patients. Once the disease complications are developed, it is quite difficult to reverse the disease, and treatment in this situation is not very effective. Consequently, patients suffer a lot. So, early evaluation of renal and liver function is essential for the treatment of RA patients and it might also help prevent different complications which are usually very frequently observed. This was a cross-sectional study. A total of 150 RA patients treated with MTX were evaluated for the study where female and male respondents were 115 and 35 respectively. In this study, we found that 82% of RA patients had creatinine levels ≤ 1.1 mg/dL although the normal range of serum creatinine is below 1.4 mg/dL. Usually, a 15% increase in Serum creatinine level from the baseline is considered renal impairment. We found 4% of such cases. Moreover, 2% of RA patients had creatinine levels above the normal range of 1.4 mg/dL and those patients were hypertensive as well. So, a total (4 + 2 = 6)% had renal impairments. Among them, 5% had diabetes mellitus. On the other hand, the ultrasonogram (USG) of RA patients with kidney disease showed signs of renal parenchymal disease and 3% of RA patients having renal problems whose serum creatinine level was within the normal range showed signs of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Cervical cancer is a serious public health issue worldwide, and early identification is crucial for better patient outcomes. Recent study has investigated how ML and DL approaches may be used to increase the accuracy of vagina tests. In this piece, we conducted a thorough review of 50 research studies that applied these techniques. Our investigation compared the outcomes to well-known screening techniques and concentrated on the datasets used and performance measurements reported. According to the research, convolutional neural networks and other deep learning approaches have potential for lowering false positives and boosting screening precision. Although several research used small sample sizes or constrained datasets, this raises questions about how applicable the findings are. This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the articles that were chosen, as well as prospective topics for future research, to further the application of ml and dl in cervical cancer screening. The development of cervical cancer screening technologies that are more precise, accessible, and can lead to better public health outcomes is significantly affected by these findings.
