This research uses both three-dimensional(3D)modeling and geologic well control to piece back together the architectural parts of the Late Cretaceous *** goal is to figure out the sizes,directions,locations,and controls of the layers of the fluvial sandstone *** stratigraphy is essential for 3D reservoir modeling and petroleum geology understanding in the Bahga *** purpose of this work is to create a static model that shows the layers and facies distribution in the reservoir *** will use data from nine well logs and 22 seismic lines calibrated by the Abu Roash G Member reservoir core intervals to accomplish *** petrophysical study discovered three parts in the Abu Roash G Member reservoir rock:channel fill that is affected by tides,channel fill that is dominated by tides(intertidal sands),and channel top with lenticular bedded *** model's findings point to the existence of an NNW-oriented sand body,which could be a prime location to produce *** original oil in place(OOIP)is about 3,438,279 stock Tank Barrels(sTB),and the oil reserve reaches up to 1,031,484(sTB).sequence stratigraphic analysis using seismic and well log information(sB)reveals that the Upper Cretaceous AR/G reservoir of the Bahga field is characterized by third-and fourth-order stratigraphic sequences,which are constrained by three Maximum Flooding surfaces(MFs)and two sequence *** integration of the derived geological model and sequence stratigraphic results can lower future extraction risk by identifying the locations and trends of the geologic facies with the necessary petrophysical properties for the hydrocarbon accumulations.

Understanding the origins of potential source rocks and unraveling the intricate connections between reservoir oils and their source formations in the siwa Basin(Western Desert,Egypt)necessitate a thorough oil-source correlation *** objective is achieved through a meticulous analysis of well-log responses,Rock-Eval pyrolysis,and biomarker *** analysis of Total Organic Carbon across 31 samples representing Paleozoic formations in the siwa A-1X well reveals a spectrum of organic richness ranging from 0.17 wt%to 2.04 wt%,thereby highlighting diverse levels of organic content and the presence of both Type II and Type III *** of the fingerprint characteristics of eight samples from the well suggests that the Dhiffah Formation comprises a blend of terrestrial and marine organic ***,a significant contribution from more oxidized residual organic matter and gas-prone Type III kerogen is ***,the Desouky and Zeitoun formations exhibit mixed organic matter indicative of a transitional environment,and thus featuring a pronounced marine influence within a more reducing setting,which is associated with Type II *** analysis of five oil samples from different wells—sIWA L-1X,sIWA R-3X,sIWA D-1X,PTAH 5X,and PTAH 6X,it is evident that terrestrial organic matter,augmented by considerable marine input,was deposited in an oxidizing environment,and contains Type III *** scrutiny confirms the coexistence of mixed terrestrial organic matter within varying redox *** is the uniformity of identified kerogen Types II and III across all samples,known to have potential for hydrocarbon *** discovery presented in this paper unveils captivating prospects concerning the genesis of oil in the Jurassic safa reservoir,suggesting potential links to Paleozoic sources or even originating from the safa Member *** revelations mark a substantial advancement in understanding source

Visible light-driven photo remediation of hazardous cationic dye via Ce-doped WO_(3) nanostructures

Ce-doped WO_(3) nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by the sol-gel method and characterized through advanced characterization *** high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)and scanning electron microscopy(sEM)results show a reduction in the agglomeration of nanoparticles upon *** energy dispersive X-ray(EDX)analysis validates the existence of the Ce element in all the doped samples.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPs)and Raman spectra justify the presence of structural defects(oxygen vacancies)and successful formation of the monoclinic WO_(3) phase,*** Kubelka-Munk function indicates a decrease in band gap with doping,while photoluminescence(PL)spectra show intense visible and UV emissions,significantly,all doped samples exhibit higher photocatalytic performance than pure WO_(3) nanoparticles,with the 6 wt%Ce-doped sample displaying the highest degradation *** with Ce can help to increase the surface area of WO_(3),thereby improving its photoactivity,Moreover,a correlation between PL and photocatalysis is established in the light of oxygen vacancies suggesting a direct dependence of high photocatalytic activity on strong PL signals of WO_(3) *** experiments further reveal that the degradation process is primarily driven by active species,providing insight into a plausible photocatalytic mechanism.

The conversion of the cartesian coordinates of a point to its geodetic equivalent coordinates in reference to the geodetic ellipsoid is one of the main challenges in *** ellipse equation in the meridian plane significantly influences the value of the geodetic *** research analyzes this influence and how it can contribute to their *** study investigates the mathematical relation between them and presents an exact formula relating to the geodetic height and the ellipse *** addition,a heuristic formula for the relation between the geodetic height and the ellipse equation is proposed,which is independent of the geodetic latitude and has a relative accuracy better than 99.9 %.The calculation is stable,and the cost is low.

Comparative study between three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts for antimicrobial applications

The design of nanostructured materials occupies a privileged position in the development and management of affordable and effective technology in the antibacterial ***,we discuss the antimicrobial properties of three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts materials of graphene oxide(GO),reduced graphene oxide(RGO),and single-wall carbon nanotubes(sWCNTs)that have a mechano-bactericidal effect,and the ability to piercing or slicing bacterial *** demonstrate the significance of size,morphology and composition on the antibacterial activity mechanism,the designed nanomaterials have been *** minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC),standard agar well diffusion,and transmission electron microscopy were utilized to evaluate the antibacterial activity of GO,RGO,and *** on the evidence obtained,the three carbonaceous materials exhibit activity against all microbial strains tested by completely encapsulating bacterial cells and causing morphological disruption by degrading the microbial cell membrane in the order of RGO>GO>*** of the external cell wall structure and outer membrane proteins,the synthesized carbonaceous nanomaterials exhibited higher antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacterial strains than Gram-negative and fungal *** had the lowest MIC values(0.062,0.125,and 0.25 mg/mL against ***,***,and ***,respectively),as well as minimum fungal concentrations(0.5 mg/mL for both *** and ***).At 12 hr,the cell viability values against tested microbial strains were completely *** lysis and death occurred as a result of severe membrane damage caused by microorganisms perched on RGO *** work gives an insight into the design of effective graphene-based antimicrobial materials for water treatment and remediation.

Mafic and felsic magmatism in the Wadi Kalalat area, south Eastern Desert, Egypt: mineralogy, geochemistry and geodynamic evolution during the Neoproterozoic in the Nubian shield

In the south Eastern Desert of Egypt,two contrasting types of magmatism(mafic and felsic) are recorded in the Wadi Kalalat area,and form the Gabal El Motaghiarat and Gabal Batuga intrusions,*** two intrusions post-dates ophiolitic and arc associations represented by serpentinite and metagabbro-diorite,*** mafic intrusion has a basal ultramafic member represented by fresh peridotite,which is followed upward by olivine gabbro and anorthositic or *** mafic intrusion pertains to the Alaskan-type mafic-ultramafic intrusions in the Arabian-Nubian shield(ANs)being of tholeiitic nature and emplaced in a typical arc *** the other hand,the Gabal Batuga intrusion comprises three varieties of fresh A-type granites of high K-calc alkaline nature,which is peraluminous and garnetbearing in parts.A narrow thermal aureole in the olivine gabbro of the mafic intrusion was developed due to the intrusion of the Batuga *** results in the development of a hornfelsic melagabbro variety in which the composition changed from tholeiitic to a calc-alkaline composition due to the addition of s_(i)O_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),alkalis,lithosphile elements(LILEs) such as Rb(70 ppm) and Y(28 ppm) from the felsic *** the thermal aureole,Rb amounts 2-8 ppm and Y lies in the range s believed that the Gabal Batuga felsic intrusion started to emplace during the waning stage of an arc system,with transition from the pre-collisional(i.e.,arc setting) to post-collisional and within plate *** from which the Gabal Batuga granites were fractionated is high-K calc-alkaline giving rise to a typical post-collisional A-type granite(A_(2)-subtype) indicating an origin from an underplating crustal ***,it is stressed here that the younger granites in the ANs are not exclusively post-collisional and within-plate but most likely they started to develop before closure of the arc *** possible source(s) of mafic magmas

Evaluation of urea breath test as a diagnostic tool for Helicobacter pylori infection in adult dyspeptic patients

In this editorial,we discuss the article in the World Journal of *** article conducts a meta-analysis of the diagnostic accuracy of the urea breath test(UBT),a non-invasive method for detecting Helicobacter pylori(***)infection in *** is based on radionuclide-labeled *** methods,both invasive and non-invasive,are available for diagnosing *** infection,inclu-ding endoscopy with biopsy,serology for immunoglobulin titers,stool antigen analysis,and *** guidelines recommend UBTs as the primary choice for diagnosing *** infection and for reexamining after eradication *** is used to be the first choice non-invasive test due to their high accuracy,specificity,rapid results,and ***,its performance remains unaffected by the distribution of *** in the stomach,allowing a high flow of patients to be *** its widespread use,the performance characteristics of UBT have been inconsistently described and remain incompletely *** are two UBTs available with Food and Drug Administration approval:The 13C and 14C *** tests are affordable and can provide real-time *** may prefer the 13C test because it is non-radioactive,compared to 14C which uses a radioactive isotope,especially in young children and pregnant *** there was heterogeneity among the studies regarding the diagnostic accuracy of both UBTs,13C-UBT consistently outperforms the *** makes the 13C-UBT the preferred diagnostic ***,the provided findings of the meta-analysis emphasize the significance of precise considerations when choosing urea dosage,assessment timing,and measurement techniques for both the 13C-UBT and 14C-UBT,to enhance diagnostic precision.

Intravesical instillation of platelet-rich plasma for treatment of interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome:A pilot study

Objective:The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of intravesical instillation of platelet-rich plasma(PRP)to treat interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome(IC/BPs).Materials and methods:Twenty PRP samples were tested in vitro for stability after exposure to urine samples with different pH.A pilot study involving 21 female patients with IC/BPs was conducted,and 6 weekly doses of autologous PRP(50 mL)were *** were followed up at the 2nd,4th,8th,and 12th weeks after terminating *** primary endpoint was the visual analog scale(VAs)for pain,and the secondary endpoints included the IC symptom index,IC problem index of the O'Leary-sant questionnaire and global response assessment,urine culture,and *** was defined as a reduction in VAs by 30%or more compared with basal level,and adverse events were ***:The mean±sD of VAs was significantly reduced compared with basal level(4.4±2.6 vs.8.8±1.1,respectively,p=0.001).Meanwhile,80%of cases were considered successful,with a 50.1%reduction in the mean score compared with the basal *** mean±sD of IC symptom index and IC problem index significantly improved compared with the basal *** response assessment was markedly,moderately,and slightly improved in 2(10%),10(50%),and 5(25%)patients,respectively,and showed no change in 3(15%).Three patients had positive urine cultures at follow-up,but 1 withdrew after 2 sessions because of a lack of ***:Repeated intravesical instillation of PRP could be considered an effective and safe approach for treating IC/BPs.

From seawater to hydrogen via direct photocatalytic vapor splitting: A review on device design and system integration

solar-driven hydrogen production from seawater attracts great interest for its emerging role in decarbonizing global energy consumption. Given the complexity of natural seawater content, photocatalytic vapor splitting offers a low-cost and safe solution, but with a very low solar-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency. With a focus on cutting-edge photothermal–photocatalytic device design and system integration, the recent research advances on vapor splitting from seawater, as well as industrial implementations in the past decades were reviewed. In addition, the design strategies of the key processes were reviewed, including vapor temperature and pressure control during solar thermal vapor generation from seawater, capillary-fed vaporization with salt repellent, and direct photocatalytic vapor splitting for hydrogen production. Moreover, the existing laboratory-scale and industrial-scale systems, and the integration principles and remaining challenges in the future seawater-to-hydrogen technology were discussed.
