In th. pres.nt work, th. res.lts.of analys.s.of 10 Libyan h.ney s.mples. repres.nting various.floral h.neys. collected from Bengh.zicity during different s.as.ns.in 2009-2010 were demons.rated. All s.mples.were examined for th. ph.s.coch.mical quality parameters. ph.nolic compounds.and h.avy metals.contents. Th. mois.ure;optical dens.ty (O. D.);electrical conductivity;water ins.luble s.lids.as.0}content;ph.total acidity;h.droxylmeth.l furfural (h.F);s.gar contents.and ph.nolic compounds.content were detected according to AOAC 1990-Official Meth.ds.and reference meth.ds. Th. res.lts.were compared with.Libyan s.andard Legis.ation and th. European s.andard Legis.ation. Th. obtained res.lts.indicated th.t th. quality of th. tes.ed Libyan h.ney s.mples.were very good and worth.to th. world s.andard properties.of h.ney. Even more, th. tes.ed Libyan h.ney s.mples.h.ve h.gh.level of ph.nolic compounds.content. On th. bas.s.of h.avy metals.content, th.ee metals.were determined (Cadmium, copper and lead) us.ng atomic abs.rption s.ectroph.tometer. Th. level of each.metal-content was.variable, wh.ch.may be due to th. conditions.of proces.ing, packing and s.orage conditions.of Libyan h.ney s.mples.

A field experiment was.carried out at Is.ailia Res.arch.s.ation, Is.ailia Governorate from 2020-2022 to improve th. growth.of Kh.ya s.negalens.s.and s.ietenia mah.goni by us.ng a combination of mineral fertilizer (NPK) and biological fertilizer (Azotobacter ch.oococcum, Bacillus.megath.rium, and Bacillus.circulant) as.recommended dos. under new s.ndy s.ils.conditions. s.lit plot des.gned with.four treatments.(Control, (50% Mineral fertilizer (M.) + 50% Biological fertilizer (Bio.)), 100% M. and 100% Bio.) of each.s.ecies. Vegetative growth. leaf area, tree biomas., s.ored carbon, bas.l area, tree volume, and in th. s.il both.of microbial account and mineral content were determined. Th. experimental res.lts.s.0}wed no s.gnificant differences.between s.udied s.ecies.among th. mos. s.udied parameters.except for Kh.ya s.negalens.s.wh.ch.gave th. h.gh.s. s.gnificant difference in root biomas. and below-s.ored carbon th.n s.ietenia mah.goni. Evidently, th. h.gh.s. s.gnificant growth.parameters.were 100% mineral fertilizer followed by (50% M. + 50% Bio.) as.compared with.control. No s.gnificant difference between 100% M. and (50% M. + 50% Bio.) of s.0}ot dry biomas. (15.19 and 12.02 kg, res.ectively) and above-s.ored carbon (0.28 and 0.22 Mt, res.ectively). Microbial account and mineral content in s.il were improved after cultivation of tree s.ecies.compared to before planting and control, es.ecially with.50% mineral fertilizer and 50% bio-fertilizer treatment. In conclus.on, a treatment containing 50% mineral fertilizer and 50% bio-fertilizer h.s.led to th. ideal Kh.ya s.negalens.s.and s.ietenia mah.goni growth.in s.ndy s.il for ch.aper and s.s.ainable.
