Reservoir quality evaluation of the Narimba Formation in Bass Basin,Australia:Implications from petrophysical analysis,sedimentological features,capillary pressure and w.tting fluid saturation

The evaluation of reservoir quality w.s accomplished on the Late Paleocene to Early Eocene Narimba Formation in Bass Basin,*** study involved combination methods such as petrophysical analysis,petrography and sedimentological studies,reservoir quality and fluid flow.units from derivative parameters,and capillary pressure and w.tting fluid saturation *** and diagenetic features are affecting the reservoir ***,compaction,and presence of clay minerals such as kaolinite are found to reduce the quality w.ile dissolution and secondary porosity are noticed to improve *** is believed that the Narimba Formation is a potential reservoir w.th a w.de range of porosity and *** ranges from 3.1%to 25.4%w.th a mean of 15.84%,w.ile permeability ranges betw.en 0.01 mD and 510 mD,w.th a mean of 31.05 *** on the heterogenous lithology,the formation has been categorized into five groups based on permeability *** I show.d an excellent to good quality reservoir w.th coarse *** impacts of both textural and diagenetic features improve the reservoir and producing higher reservoir quality index(RQI)and flow.zone indicators(FZI)as w.ll as mostly mega *** non-w.tting fluid migration has the higher possibility to flow.in the formation w.ile displacement pressure recorded as *** II show.d a fair quality reservoir w.th low.r petrophysical properties in macro *** irreducible w.ter saturation is increasing w.ile the textural and digenetic properties are still enhancing the reservoir *** III reflects low.r quality reservoir w.th mostly macro pores and higher displacement *** may indicate smaller grain size and increasing amount of cement and clay *** IV,and V are interpreted as a poor-quality reservoir that has low.r RQI and *** textural and digenetic features are negatively affecting the reservoir and are leading to smaller pore size and pore throat radii(r35)

Based on thew.rld Health Organization(w.O),Meningitis is a severe infection of the meninges,the membranes covering the brain and spinal *** is a devastating disease and remains a significant public health *** study investigates a bacterial meningitis model through deterministic and stochastic ***-compartment population dynamics explain the concept,particularly the susceptible population,carrier,infected,and *** model predicts the nonnegative equilibrium points and reproduction number,i.e.,the Meningitis-Free Equilibrium(MFE),and Meningitis-Existing Equilibrium(MEE).For the stochastic version of the existing deterministicmodel,the tw.methodologies studied are transition probabilities and non-parametric ***,positivity,boundedness,extinction,and disease persistence are studiedrigorouslyw.ththe helpofw.ll-know. *** and nonstandard techniques such as EulerMaruyama,stochastic Euler,stochastic Runge Kutta,and stochastic nonstandard finite difference in the sense of delay have been presented for computational analysis of the stochastic ***,standard methods fail to restore the biological properties of the model,so the stochastic nonstandard finite difference approximation is offered as an efficient,low.cost,and independent of time step *** addition,the convergence,local,and global stability around the equilibria of the nonstandard computational method is studied by assuming the perturbation effect is *** simulations and comparison of the methods are presented to support the theoretical results and for the best visualization of results.

Assessment of plant diversity of endemic species of the Saharo-Arabian region in Egypt

Savanna, semi-deserts, and hot deserts characterize the Saharo-Arabian region, w.ich includes Morocco, Mauretania, algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Kuw.it, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen, southern Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northern India. Its neighboring regions, the Sudano-Zambezian region belonging to the Paleotropical Kingdom and the Mediterranean and Irano-Turanian regions included in the Holarctic Kingdom, share a large portion of their flora w.th the Saharo-Arabian region. Despite the w.despread acknow.edgment of the region's global importance for plant diversity, an up to date list of the Saharo-Arabian endemics is still unavailable. The available data are frequently insufficient or out of date at both the w.ole global and the national scales. Therefore, the present study aims at screening and verifying the Saharo-Arabian endemic plants and determining the phytogeographical distribution of these taxa in the Egyptian flora. Hence, a preliminary list of 429 Saharo-Arabian endemic plants in Egypt w.s compiled from the available literature. Indeed, by excluding the species that w.re recorded in any countries or regions outside the Saharo-Arabian region based on different literature, database review., and w.bsites, the present study has reduced this number to 126 taxa belonging to 87 genera and 37 families. Regarding the national geographic distribution, South Sinai is the richest region w.th 83 endemic species compared w.th other eight phytogeographic regions in Egypt, follow.d by the Isthmic Desert(the middle of Sinai Peninsula, 53 taxa). Sahara regional subzone(SS1) distributes all the 126 endemic species, Arabian regional subzone(SS2) ow.s 79 taxa, and Nubo-Sindian subzone(SS3) distributes only 14 endemics. Controlling Congestion in al-Seeb Highw.y Using Ramp Metering (Case Study)

This paper represents a case study of traffic congestion w.thin a section on al Seeb Street highw.y due to the on-ramp merging of vehicles that causes a bottleneck in the mainline road. It studies the efficiency of installing ramp metering w.thin a ramp w.thin the selected study zone. This is done by simulating the collected data using Vissim softw.re by draw.ng three one-hour-long scenarios;the first scenario reflects the data collected for 30 minutes duration and is used as a base scenario to draw.the other tw. scenarios, w.ich are reflected as factored-up scenarios to create a situation observed in the early morning in the study zone at 6:00-7:00 in w.ich slow.ng dow. of speeds exist, and breakdow. is raised in w.rking days. The tw. factoring-up scenarios w.re as follow.: one w.thout ramp metering and the other w.thout ramp metering. Each scenario w.s calibrated and run five times w.th random seeds, and then the average w.s considered. The simulation examines the ability of RM to smooth traffic in mainline and reduce queuing on on-ramp roads w.thin the selected study zone by comparing the performance of the netw.rk for the scenarios and comparing them in terms of the overall delays, number of stops and the average speeds for the vehicles w.thin the mainline. The results show.d a good performance reflected by the scenario w.th ramp metering w.th a reduction of the overall delay, a decrease in stops number and an increase of the average speed w.re achieved. For the base scenario, a visualization (video extracted from Vissim softw.re) w.s extracted, show.ng no need to install RM w.th an associated table show.ng a number of stops equal to zero w.th an average speed of 102.74 km/h and a total delay of 6045 seconds. Hot dry rock(HDR)is rich in reserve,w.dely distributed,green,low.carbon,and has broad development potential and *** this paper,a distributionally robust optimization(DRO)scheduling model for a regionally integrated energy system(RIES)considering HDR co-generation is ***,the HDR-enhanced geothermal system(HDR-EGS)is introduced into the ***-EGS realizes the thermoelectric decoupling of combined heat and pow.r(CHP)through coordinated operation w.th the regional pow.r grid and the regional heat grid,w.ich enhances the system w.nd pow.r(w.)feed-in ***,peak-hour loads are shifted using price demand response guidance in the context of time-of-day ***,the optimization objective is established to minimize the total cost in the RIES scheduling cycle and construct a DRO scheduling model for RIES w.th *** simulating a real small-scale RIES,the results show.that HDR-EGS can effectively promote w. consumption and reduce the operating cost of the system.

The present study is devoted to understanding the evolution of the Upper Jurassic Sab'atayn Formation in the Marib-Shabw. Basin,Yemen,through a sequence stratigraphic analysis based on integrating datasets of sedimentology,seismic sections,and w.ll *** Sab'atayn Formation(Tithonian age)is represented by a series of clastic and evaporites that w.re deposited under fluvio-deltaic to prodeltaic *** is divided into four members including Yah(at the base),upw.rds to Seen,alif,and Safir at the *** third-order depositional sequences w.re determined for the Tithonian succession w.ich w.re separated by three sequence *** sequences w.re classified into their systems tracts signifying several sedimentation patterns of progradational,aggradational,and retrogradational parasequence *** first depositional sequence corresponds to the early-middle Tithonian Yah and Seen units that can be classified into low.tand,transgressive,and highstand systems *** second sequence comprises the late Tithonian alif unit that can be subdivided into transgressive and highstand systems *** sandy deposits of the alif Member(highstand deposits)represent the most productive hydrocarbon reservoir in the *** Upper Jurassic sediments in the study area w.re resulted from a combination of eustatic and tectonic effects.

Advanced DriverAssistance Systems(ADAS)technologies can assist drivers or be part of automatic driving systems to support the driving process and improve the level of safety and comfort on the *** Sign Recognition System(TSRS)is one of themost important components *** the challengesw.th TSRS is being able to recognize road signs w.th the highest accuracy and the shortest processing ***,this paper introduces a new.real time methodology recognizing Speed Limit Signs based on a trio of developed ***,the Speed Limit Detection(SLD)module uses the Haar Cascade technique to generate a new.SL detector in order to localize SL signs w.thin captured ***,the Speed Limit Classification(SLC)module,featuring machine learning classifiers alongside a new.y developed model called DeepSL,harnesses the pow.r of a CNN architecture to extract intricate features from speed limit sign images,ensuring efficient and precise *** addition,a new.Speed Limit Classifiers Fusion(SLCF)module has been developed by combining trained ML classifiers and the DeepSL model by using the Dempster-Shafer theory of belief functions and ensemble learning’s voting *** rigorous softw.re and hardw.re validation processes,the proposedmethodology has achieved highly significant F1 scores of 99.98%and 99.96%for DS theory and the votingmethod,***,a prototype encompassing all components demonstrates outstanding reliability and efficacy,w.th processing times of 150 ms for the Raspberry Pi board and 81.5 ms for the Nano Jetson board,marking a significant advancement in TSRS technology.

A dynamic analysis of both tw.sting and regular tow.rs is carried out to determine the results of considering soil-structure interaction(SSI)on high-rise *** addition,the difference betw.en the seismic performance of using tw.sting tow.rs over regular ones is *** tw.sting tow.r is a simulation of the Evolution Tow.r(Moscow..The tow.rs’skeletons consist of RC elements and rest on a reinforced concrete piled-raft *** soil model is considered as multi-layered w.th the same soil properties as the zone chosen for the analysis(New.Mansoura City,Egypt).The only difference betw.en both tow.rs is their shape in *** w.ole system is modelled and analyzed in a single step as one full 3D model,w.ich is know. as the direct approach in *** analyses are carried out using finite-element softw.re(Midas GTS NX).Dynamic output responses due to three records of seismic loads are proposed and presented in some *** on the results,it is concluded that SSI has a considerable effect on the dynamic response of tall buildings mainly because of the foundation flexibility,as it leads to lengthening the vibration period,increasing the story drift and the base shear for both cases.
