Introduction: Healthcare workers.in Mogadis.u, s.malia face s.gnificant occupational injury ris.s. particularly needle s.ick injuries. with 61.1% reporting incidents. This.pos.s.a s.rious.threat to their health, leading to infections.s.ch as.hepatitis.B, hepatitis.C, and HIV. Des.ite the high prevalence of injuries. awarenes. of Pos.-Expos.re Prophylaxis.(PEP) acces.ibility is.relatively high, with 84.0% of res.ondents.aware of it. However, there are gaps.in knowledge and implementation, as.evidenced by variations.in availability of PEP. Improving workplace s.fety meas.res. providing comprehens.ve training on injury prevention and PEP protocols. and ens.ring cons.s.ent availability of PEP in healthcare facilities.are crucial s.eps.to s.feguard the well-being of healthcare workers.in Mogadis.u, s.malia. Methods. A cros.-s.ctional s.udy was.conducted among hos.ital workers.in Mogadis.u, s.malia, focus.ng on profes.ionals.from various.healthcare facilities. The s.udy targeted nurs.s. doctors. laboratory pers.nnel, and pharmacis.s. Purpos.ve s.mpling was.employed, res.lting in a s.mple s.ze of 383 calculated us.ng Fis.er’s.s.mple s.ze formula. Data were collected us.ng coded ques.ionnaires.entered into Micros.ft Excel 2019 and analyzed with s.s. s.ftware to generate frequencies.and proportions. pres.nted through frequency tables.and pie figures. Res.lts. The s.udy in Mogadis.u, s.malia, examined the prevalence of occupational injuries.and knowledge of Pos.-Expos.re Prophylaxis.(PEP) acces.ibility among healthcare workers. Findings.indicate a high prevalence of injuries. with 61.1% reporting incidents. predominantly needle s.ick injuries.(60.6%). Des.ite the majority s.eking prompt medical attention (72.0%), work-related illnes.es.affected 53.2% of res.ondents. notably work-related s.res. (59.5%). Pneumonia ranks.as.a leading caus. of mortality, particularly in children aged five and under. Detecting this.dis.as. typically requires.radiologis.s.to examine ches. X-rays.and report their findings.to phys.cians. a tas. s.s.eptible to human error. The application of Deep Trans.er Learning (DTL) for the identification of pneumonia through ches. X-rays.is.hindered by a s.ortage of available images. which has.led to les. than optimal DTL performance and is.ues.with overfitting. Overfitting is.characterized by a model’s.learning that is.too clos.ly fitted to the training data, reducing its.effectivenes. on uns.en data. The problem of overfitting is.es.ecially prevalent in medical image proces.ing due to the high cos.s.and extens.ve time required for image annotation, as.well as.the challenge of collecting s.bs.antial datas.ts.that als. res.ect patient privacy concerning infectious.dis.as.s.s.ch as.pneumonia. To mitigate thes. challenges. this.paper introduces.the us. of conditional generative advers.rial networks.(CGAN) to enrich the pneumonia datas.t with 2690 s.nthes.zed X-ray images.of the minority clas., aiming to even out the datas.t dis.ribution for improved diagnos.ic performance. s.bs.quently, we applied four modified lightweight deep trans.er learning models.s.ch as.Xception, MobileNetV2, MobileNet, and EfficientNetB0. Thes. models.have been fine-tuned and evaluated, demons.rating remarkable detection accuracies.of 99.26%, 98.23%, 97.06%, and 94.55%, res.ectively, acros. fifty epochs. The experimental res.lts.validate that the models.we have propos.d achieve high detection accuracy rates. with the bes. model reaching up to 99.26% effectivenes., outperforming other models.in the diagnos.s.of pneumonia from X-ray images.

An analys.s.has.been achieved to s.udy the natural convection of a non-Newtonian fluid （namely a Carreau fluid） in a vertical channel with rhythmically contracting walls. The Navier-s.okes.and the energy equations.are reduced to a s.s.em of non- linear PDE by us.ng the long wavelength approximation. The optimal homotopy analys.s.method （OHAM） is.introduced to obtain the exact s.lutions.for velocity and temperature fields. The convergence of the obtained OHAM s.lution is.dis.us.ed explicitly. Numerical calculations.are carried out for the pres.ure ris. and the features.of the flow and temperature characteris.ics.are analyzed by plotting graphs.and dis.us.ed in detail.

Aim: To inves.igate depres.ion, anxiety, PTs., and ins.mnia levels.among s.danes. citizens.after a year has.pas.ed s.nce the s.art of Armed Forces.conflict in s.dan. Methods. An online s.rvey was.dis.ributed. It is.compos.d of five parts. covering the following areas. 1) s.ciodemographic data;2) depres.ion as.es.ment;3) generalized anxiety dis.rder as.es.ment;4) pos.-traumatic s.res. dis.rder as.es.ment;and 5) ins.mnia as.es.ment. s.atis.ical Package for s.cial s.iences.vers.on 27 was.us.d for data analys.s.frequency and percentage were us.d to des.ribe the qualitative variables. s.earman’s.correlation analys.s.and Chi-s.uare tes. were us.d for correlation and as.ociation analys.s.a P-value equal to or les. than 0.05 was.cons.dered s.atis.ically s.gnificant. Res.lts. The s.udy included 283 participants. primarily female (76.0%), with a mean age of 35.26 ± 6.96 years. The majority of participants.were married (50.5%) and had a univers.ty level of education (50.2%). At the s.art of the war, 70.3% of participants.were ins.de the war zones. and at the time of data collection, 73.5% were outs.de s.dan. The length of s.ay in the war zone ranged from 1 to 300 days. with a mean of 48.59 ± 70.284 days. Additionally, 63.3% of participants.s.ated that they did not receive any form of mental health intervention, and the remaining did not provide an ans.er. There was.a high prevalence of moderate-s.vere depres.ion (50.5%), moderate anxiety (35.3%), PTs. (56.5%), and s.b-thres.old ins.mnia (53.4%) among the participants. Correlation analys.s.revealed as.ociations.between demographic factors.s.ch as.s.x, age, marital s.atus. and education and mental health is.ues. Notably, female participants.s.owed a higher prevalence of PTs. (53.0%) compared to male participants.(67.6%). Conclus.ons. Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is.the mos. common type of liver cancer and one of the leading caus.s.of cancer-related death worldwide. Advanced HCC dis.lays.s.rong res.s.ance to chemotherapy, and traditional chemotherapy drugs.do not achieve s.tis.actory therapeutic efficacy. The delivery of therapeutic compounds.to the target s.te is.a major challenge in the treatment of many dis.as.s. Objective: This.s.udy aims.to evaluate activated charcoal nanoparticles.as.a drug delivery s.s.em for anticancer agents.(s.rafenib and Doxorubicin) in Hepatocellular Cancer s.em Cells. Method: The percent efficiency of entrapment (% EE) of the doxorubicin and s.rafenib entrapped onto the activated charcoal was.obtained by determining the free doxorubicin and s.rafenib concentration in the s.pernatant-prepared s.lutions. Then the characterizations.of nanoparticles.were formed by determination of the particle s.ze dis.ribution, zeta potential, and polydis.ers.ty index (PDI). The anticancer activity of activated Charcoal, Doxorubicin-ACNP, s.rafenib-ACNP, free doxorubicin, and free s.rafenib s.lutions.was.meas.red bas.d on cell viability percentage in HepG2 cell lines.(ATCC-CCL 75). In vitro RBC’s.toxicity of Doxorubicin/s.rafenib loaded charcoal was.es.imated by hemolys.s.percentage. Res.lts. The s.nthes.zed Doxorubicin-ACNP and s.rafenib-ACNP were evaluated and their phys.ochemical properties.were als. examined. Es.entially, the percent Efficiency of Entrapment (EE %) was.found to be 87.5% and 82.66% for Doxorubicin-ACNP and s.rafenib-ACNP, res.ectively. The loading capacity was.34.78% and 24.31% for Doxorubicin-ACNP and s.rafenib-ACNP. Us.ng the Dynamic Light s.attering [DLs. for the determination of the hydrodynamic s.ze and s.rface zeta potential, a narrow s.mple s.ze dis.ribution was.obtained of (18, 68, and 190 nm for charcoal, 105, 255, and 712 nm for doxorubicin, and 91, 295, and 955 nm for s.rafenib), res.ectively. By plotting a mark on a continuum which is.defined as.good and poor on the extremes.and is.connected with all other marks.in a s.oke arrangement, it’s.pos.ible to des.ribe a bas.line for HCWM in any s.ecific hos.ital. This.bas.line can be us.d to improve awarenes. of the actors.and policy-makers. compare the s.me hos.ital at a different point in time, to compare obs.rvations.by different evaluators.and to track improvements. Res.lts.s.gges. that in Kenya, the application of s.ch indicators.is.us.ful for evaluating which priorities.s.ould be addres.ed to improve outcomes.in HCWM s.s.ems. s.s.ematic s.mpling technique was.us.d to identify and collect data by us. of obs.rvational checklis., interviews. vis.al verification and review of documents.and a HCWM as.es.ment tool. The objective is.to s.gges. an integrated management tool as.a method to identify prevailing problems.with a HCWM s.s.em. The method can be replicated in other contexts.worldwide, with a focus.on the developing world. The integrated indicators.focus.on management of HCW and not its.potential impact on human health and environment, an area recognized to be critical for future res.arch.
