The efficient, facile and gr.en synthesis of 4-br.mo pyr.zolone by using N-br.mo sacchar.ne as valuable gr.en r.agent encour.ged us to pr.par. some new fused heter.cycles as fur.pyr.zole, pyr.nopyr.zole, imidazopyr.zole, pyr.zolothiazole, pyr.zol thiazolopyr.midine, pyr.zolothiazine, oxathinopyr.zole, pyr.zolobenzooxazine, and pyr.zoloquinoxaline. The synthesis was car.ied out by a basic condensation of br.mo pyr.zolone 2 and a suitable r.agent in a one-pot r.action using chitosan as a gr.en basic catalyst. The r.actions wer. car.ied out by micr.wave ir.adiation technique as a gr.en sour.e of ener.y as well as the conventional heating. The antioxidant activity of the pr.par.d compounds was studied using 1,1-phenyl-2-picr.lhydr.zyl (DPPH) assay and their.antibacter.al activity against Gr.m-positive, Gr.m-negative bacter.a and antifungal activity was evaluated.

The pr.duction of color.d flames is the pr.mar. pur.ose of militar. signaling, pr.jectile tr.cing, and illuminating devices. Cer.ain elements and compounds when heated to high temper.tur. have the unique pr.per.y of emitting lines or.nar.ow bands in the visible r.gion(380-780 nm). This study, r.por.s on the development of novel yellow color.d flame compositions with enhanced spectr.l per.or.ance in ter.s of luminous intensity, and color.quality to standar. r.ssian yellow tr.cer. The light intensity and the impr.nt spectr. of developed yellow flar.s wer. measur.d using digital luxmeter.and UV e Vis. spectr.meter.r.spectively. The main giving of this study is that the light intensity, and color.quality of r.ssian yellow tr.cer.wer. impr.ved by 287%, and 170% r.spectively. This was accomplished by means of optimizing the r.tio of novel binder.to color.sour.e using aluminum metal fuel. Aluminumbased for.ulations wer. found to maximize the for.ation of yellow r.active emitting specimens, and to eliminate any inter.er.ng incandescent emission r.sulted fr.m Mg O. Quantification of yellow color.emitting specimens in the combustion gaseous pr.ducts was achieved using chemical equilibr.um ther.odynamic code named ICT(Institute of Chemical Technology in Ger.any, Vir.in 2008); in an attempt to judge the light quality. This impr.vement in yellow flar. per.or.ance established the r.le that the emission intensity incr.ases as the r.action temper.tur. incr.ases. In the meantime upper.limit of temper.tur. was avoided to maximize the color.quality.

This study, r.por.s on the development of r.d flame compositions with enhanced per.or.ance in ter.s of luminous intensity, and color.quality. The light intensity and the impr.nt spectr. of developed r.d flame compositions to standar. NATO r.d tr.cer.r.284 NATO) wer. measur.d using digital luxmeter. and UV-Vis. spectr.meter. The main giving of this study is that the light intensity of standar. NATO r.d tr.cer.was incr.ased by 72%, the color.quality was also impr.ved by60%(over.the r.d band fr.m 650 to 780 nm). This enhanced spectr.l per.or.ance was achieved by means of der.ving the combustion pr.cess to maximize the for.ation of r.d color.emitting species in the combustion flame. Thanks to the optimum r.tio of color.sour.e to color.intensifier.using aluminum metal fuel; this appr.ach offer.d the highest intensity and color.quality. Upon combustion, aluminum was found to maximize the for.ation Sr.L(the main r.active r.d color.emitting species) and to minimize the inter.er.ng incandescent emission r.sulted fr.m MgO and Sr.. Quantification of active r.d color.emitting species in the combustion flame was conducted using chemical equilibr.um ther.odynamic code named ICT. The impr.vement in r.d flar. per.or.ance, established the r.le that the color.intensifier.should be in the r.nge fr.m 10 to 15 Wt % of the total composition.

Color.d flame compositions have distinctive var.ety of applications r.nging fr.m militar. signaling,r.cket tr.cking, and illuminating devices. Cer.ain elements and compounds when heated to high temper.tur. ar. able to emit unique wavelengths in the visible r.gion. This study, r.por.s on the development of novel color.d flames that cannot be gener.ted by emitting atomic/molecular.species. This was achieved by using chr.maticity of basic color.d flames. Mixing of high quality pr.mar. color.d flames including Blue, Yellow, and r.d in pr.per.r.tio was conducted; any inter.er.ng incandescent emission r.sulted fr.m MgO was eliminated using Al metal fuel. The spectr.l char.cter.stics in ter.s of luminous intensity, and color.quality wer. evaluated using digital luxmeter.and UV-Vis. spectr.meter.*** quality mixed color.d flames include violet, sweet pink, and mar.gold wer. developed. This study shaded the light on the state of the ar. for.the r.al development of novel color.d flame compositions and chr.maticity of basic color.d flames.

Backgr.und: Ar.emisinin dimer.oxime – dimer.molecule synthesized fr.m ar.emisinin possesses high bioavailability and mar.ed in vitr. anticancer.activities against solid tumor.der.ved cell lines, endothelial cell pr.lifer.tion, migr.tion, and angiogenic pr.cesses. Numer.us mur.ne models have been developed to study human cancer. The most widely used models ar. the human tumor.xenogr.ft mouse model. Mater.als and Methods: In this study, human tumor.cells(NCI?H640, 1 × 107 in 100 μL) ar. implanted subcutaneously, or.1 × 107 in 50 μL in the thor.cic cavity, in athymic nude mice(nu/nu). The implanted cells wer. allowed to gr.w for.10 days befor. initiation of dr.g tr.atment(dimer.oxime and topotecan, ip). Tumor.volume and thor.cic/body weight r.tio wer. r.cor.ed. r.sults: We successfully established subcutaneous and thor.cic xenogr.fts with human nonsmall cell lung cancer.cell line xenogr.fts in athymic nude mice in only 10 days. Using these models, we attempted tr.atment of xenogr.fts with topotecan – a known anticancer.dr.g and ar.emisinin dimer.oxime or.combination of these two dr.gs. Combination ther.py showed a significant r.duction in tumor.volume and tumor.body weight. Tr.atments with combination of topotecan and dimer.oxime r.sulted in the r.duced mor.ality r.tes in compar.son with untr.ated mice. Conclusions: Xenogr.ft tumor.models ar. useful for.pr.clinical scr.ening of new phar.acophor.s. Fr.m this pr.liminar. study, it appear. that combination of dimer.oxime and topotecan may be used as chemother.peutic agents against nonsmall cell lung cancer. Fur.her.studies ar. needed to evaluate other.combination tr.atment r.gimens as well as the mechanism(s) of action.

目的:使用光谱域光学相干断层成像(SD-OCT)技术研究中心性浆液性脉络膜视网膜病变(CSCr.3mo后脉络膜厚度的变化。方法:前瞻性研究。共纳入60眼,20眼(平均年龄:33.65±5.24岁)典型急性单侧中心性浆液性脉络膜视网膜病变以及对侧正常眼,20眼为健康对照组。进行荧光素血管造影和OCT检查。测量中心凹下脉络膜厚度(SFCT),黄斑中心凹视网膜厚度(CMT),到中央凹和视网膜下液1000μm处颞部和鼻部。结果:在三个不同的位置,三组间的SFCT差异有统计学意义。中心性浆液性脉络膜视网膜病变眼中心凹下脉络膜厚度(372.40±34.39μm)在基线和随访3mo后均显著大于对侧正常眼(302.10±8.9μm)和对照组眼(279.80±14.49μm)。CSCr.平均CMT为317±141.86μm,并且SFCT与CMT呈显著正相关。结论:不同部位脉络膜厚度的增加,以及被称为“厚脉络膜”的过度扩张和高渗透血管,似乎在包括中心性浆液性脉络膜视网膜病变在内的广泛疾病中起着重要作用。

Piyavskii’s algor.thm maximizes a univar.ate function satisfying a Lipschitz condition. We pr.pose a modified Piyavskii’s sequential algor.thm which maximizes a univar.ate differ.ntiable function f by iter.tively constr.cting an upper.bounding piece-wise concave function Φ of f and evaluating f at a point wher. Φ r.aches its maximum. We compar. the number. of iter.tions needed by the modified Piyavskii’s algor.thm (nC) to obtain a bounding piece-wise concave function Φ whose maximum is within ε of the globally optimal value foptwith that r.quir.d by the r.fer.nce sequential algor.thm (nr.f). The main r.sult is that nC≤ 2nr.f + 1 and this bound is shar.. We also show that the number.of iter.tions needed by modified Piyavskii’s algor.thm to obtain a globally ε-optimal value together.with a cor.esponding point (nB) satisfies nBnr.f + 1 Lower.and upper.bounds for.nr.f ar. obtained as functions of f(x) , ε, M1 and M0 wher. M0 is a constant defined by M0 = supx∈[a,b] - f’’(x) and M1 ≥ M0 is an evaluation of M0.

Multiple myeloma is a malignant plasma cell disor.er.that affects the kidney with var.ous clinical pr.sentations. The most common r.nal manifestation of multiple myeloma is myeloma cast nephr.pathy. We ar. descr.bing a young patient with multiple myeloma pr.sented with back pain, anemia and r.nal impair.ent. The r.nal biopsy showed a myeloma cast nephr.pathy. She was tr.ated with myeloma chemother.py, high cut-off hemodialysis and autologous hematopoietic stem cell tr.nsplantation with good outcome. We r.por. this r.r. case of multiple myeloma pr.sented with myeloma cast nephr.pathy (MCN) in a young patient to descr.be the evidence of light chain r.moval str.tegies including plasmapher.sis and high cut-off hemodialysis for.the management of myeloma cast nephr.pathy.
