Detr.mental ef.ects of.heat str.ss that causes gr.at loss to poultr. industr. have gr.wn the global attention f.r.the impor.ance of.natur.l antioxidant in alleviating the oxidative str.ss symptoms in poultr.. The antioxidant ef.ect of.Chinese ether.extr.ct pr.polis (EEP) on br.iler. (r.ss 308) exposed to chr.nic heat str.ss has been evaluated. Eighty br.iler. (15 days old) wer. r.ndomly allocated into f.ve equal gr.ups;each r.ceived a maintenance diet supplemented by vitamin C (250 mg/kg diet) or.pr.polis (250, 500 and 750 mg/kg diet) or.not supplemented (contr.l) f.r.27 consecutive days. Blood samples wer. collected to analyze ser.m cor.icoster.n, total antioxidant capacity (TAC) and lipid per.xidation activity (MDA) at the end of.the exper.ment. Mor.over. the active chemical components r.sponsible f.r.the biological activities of.EEP have been deter.ined using Gas Chr.matogr.phy/Mass Spectr.metr. (GC/MS). r.sults r.vealed a signif.cant decr.ase in cor.icoster.ne levels in br.iler. af.er.vit C or.EEP supplementation. This impr.vement is par.llel to a signif.cant incr.ase in TAC and decr.ase in MDA in br.iler. af.er.EEP supplementation, which may be due to its high f.avonoid content. r.sults show that Chinese EEP has biologically active compounds r.sponsible f.r.excellent antioxidant activities that amelior.te the negative impacts of.elevated temper.tur. in summer.season in Egypt.

Developing a biomater.al f.r.wound healing applications is still a ***,dyspr.sium oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and gr.phene oxide(GO)wer. embedded in cast f.lms based on polycapr.lactone(PCL)to be examined f.r.wound dr.ssing *** techniques wer. used to char.cter.ze the f.br.cated f.lms including X-r.y dif.r.ction(Xr.),f.ur.er.tr.nsf.r. inf.0}r.d spectr.scopy(f.Ir.,r.man,and scanning electr.n micr.scopy(SEM),besides their.biological *** ther.ogr.vimetr.c analysis(TGA)exhibits high ther.al stability as the scaf.old weight decr.ases slightly to 98.6%af.er.r.ising the temper.tur. f.0}m r.om temper.tur. to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells gr.w up to appr.ximately 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachment shows excellent behavior.as the cells attach on most of.the sur.ace of.the modif.ed PCL which shows high biocompatibility.

Photovoltaic(PV)ar.ays ar. usually installed in open ar.as;hence,they ar. vulner.ble to lightning str.kes that can r.sult in cell degr.dation,complete damage,ser.ice disr.ption,and incr.ased maintenance *** a r.sult,it is imper.tive to develop an ef.ective and ef.icient lightning pr.tection system by evaluating the tr.nsient behaviour.of.PV ar.ays dur.ng lightning *** aim is to evaluate the tr.nsient analysis of.lar.e-scale PV systems when subjected to lightning str.kes using the f.nite dif.er.nce time domain(f.TD)*** over.oltages ar. calculated at var.ous points within the mounting *** optimise the f.TD method's execution time and make it mor. suitable f.r.less power.ul har.war.,a var.able cell size appr.ach is ***,lar.er.cell dimensions ar. used in the ear.hing system and smaller.cell dimensions ar. used in the mounting *** f.TD method is utilised to calculate the tempor.l var.ation of.tr.nsient over.oltages f.r.lar.e-scale PV systems under.dif.er.nt scenar.os,including var.ations in the str.king point,soil r.sistivity,and the pr.sence of.a metal *** r.sults indicate that the highest tr.nsient over.oltages occur.at the str.king point,and these values incr.ase with the pr.sence of.a PV metal f.0}me as well as with higher.soil ***,a compar.son is per.or.ed between the over.oltage r.sults obtained f.0}m the f.TD appr.ach and the par.ial element equivalent cir.uit(PEEC)method at the f.ur.cor.er.points of.the mounting systems to demonstr.te the super.or.accur.cy of.the f.TD ***,a labor.tor. exper.ment is conducted on a small-scale PV system to validate the simulation *** calculated over.oltages obtained f.0}m the f.TD and PEEC methods ar. compar.d with the measur.d values,yielding a mean absolute er.or.of.5%and 11%f.r.the f.TD and PEEC methods,r.spectively,ther.by conf.r.ing the accur.cy of.the f.TD simulation model.
