Textile dyes are dram.tic sources of pollution and non-aesthetic disturbance of aquatic life and therefore represent a potential risk of bioaccum.lation that can affect living *** is im.erative to reduce or elim.nate these dyes from.liquid effluents with innovative biom.terials and ***,this research aim. to highlight the perform.nce of Capparis spinosa L waste-activated carbon(CSLW-AC)adsorbent to rem.ve crystal violet(CV)from.an aqueous *** m.chanism.of CV adsorption on CSLW-AC was evaluated based on the coupling of experim.ntal data and different characterization *** efficiency of the CSLW-AC m.terial reflected by the equilibrium.adsorption capacity of CV could reach m.re than 195.671 m.·g^(–1) when 0.5 g·L^(–1) of CSLW-AC(Particle size≤250μm.is introduced into the CV of initial concentration of 100 m.·L^(–1) at pH 6 and tem.erature 65℃ and in the presence of potassium.ions after 60 m.n of contact tim. according to the one param.ter at a tim. *** adsorption behavior of CV on CSLW-AC was found to be consistent with the pseudo-second-order kinetic m.del and Frum.in's linear isotherm.l *** therm.dynam.c aspects indicate that the process is physical,spontaneous,and *** optim.zation of the process by the Box Behnken design of experim.nts resulted in an adsorption capacity approaching 183.544 m.·g^(–1)([CV]=100 m.·L^(–1) and[CSLW-AC]=0.5 g·L^(–1) at 35 m.n).The results of the Lactuca sativa seeds germ.nation in treated CV(70%),adsorbent solvent and therm.l regeneration(m.re than 5 cycles),and process cost analysis(1.0484 USD·L^(–1))tests are encouraging and prom.sing for future exploitations of the CSLW-AC m.terial in different industrial fields.

Nd-Fe-B perm.nent m.gnets play a crucial role in energy conversion and electronic *** essential m.gnetic properties of Nd-Fe-B m.gnets,particularly coercivity and rem.nent m.gnetization,are significantly infuenced by the phase characteristics and *** this work,Nd-Fe-B m.gnets were m.nufactured using vacuum.induction m.lting(VIm.,laser directed energy deposition(LDED)and laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)*** evolution and phase selection of Nd-Fe-B m.gnets were then clarified in *** results indicated that the solidification velocity(V)and cooling rate(R)are key factors in the phase *** term. of the VIm.casting Nd-Fe-B m.gnet,a large volum. fraction of theα-Fe soft m.gnetic phase(39.7 vol.%)and Nd2Fe17Bxm.tastable phase(34.7 vol.%)areform.d due to the low R(2.3×10-1?C s-1),whereas only a m.nor fraction of the Nd2Fe14B hard m.gnetic phase(5.15 vol.%)is *** the LDED-processed Nd-Fe-B deposit,although the Nd2Fe14B hard m.gnetic phase also had a low value(3.4 vol.%)as the values of V(m.s-1)and R(5.06×103?C s-1)increased,part of theα-Fe soft m.gnetic phase(31.7vol.%)is suppressed,and a higher volum. of Nd2Fe17Bxm.tastable phases(47.5 vol.%)*** a result,both the VIm.casting and LDED-processed Nd-Fe-B deposits exhibited poor m.gnetic *** contrast,em.loying the high values of V(>10-2m.s-1)and R(1.45×106?C s-1)in the LPBF process resulted in the substantial form.tion of the Nd2Fe14B hard m.gnetic phase(55.8 vol.%)directly from.the liquid,while theα-Fe soft m.gnetic phase and Nd2Fe17Bxm.tastable phase precipitation are suppressed in the LPBF-processed Nd-Fe-B ***,crystallographic texture analysis reveals that the LPBF-processedNd-Fe-B m.gnets exhibit isotropic m.gnetic ***,the LPBF-processed Nd-Fe-B deposit,exhibiting a coercivity of 656 k A m.1,rem.nence of 0.79 T and m.xim.m.energy product of 71.5 k J m.3,achieved an acceptable m.gnetic perfor

AIm.To develop norm.tive data for m.ibom.an gland dysfunction(m.D)param.ters,using non-contact m.ibography technique of Sirius Costruzione Strum.nti Oftalm.ci(CSO)m.chine,in an Egyptian population ***:Observational,cross-sectional,analytic study,in which 104 Egyptian volunteers were *** upper lids were exam.ned,using“Sirius CSO”*** eyelid was given a degree of m.ibom.an gland loss(m.L),which was calculated by the software of the ***:m.an percentage m.L in right upper lid was of 30.9%±12.6%,and that of left upper lid was 32.6%±11.8%.Thirty-four volunteers(32.7%)had first-degree m.L in their right upper lid,and 67.3%had second-degree *** volunteer(1%)had zero-degree m.L in left upper lid,28(26.9%)had first-degree loss,and 75(72.1%)had second-degree *** of m.L in right upper eyelid was not related to age,but degree of m.L in left upper eyelid increased with *** was statistically significant difference between both genders for degree of m.L in right eye(P=0.036)and in left eye(P=0.027).CONCLUSION:Noncontact m.ibography is a useful non-invasive tool for diagnosing *** is diagnosed in 100%of apparently norm.l individuals;26.9%-32.7%of which have first-degree m.L,and 67.3%-72.1%have second-degree m.L.

In order to m.intain the optim.l operating tem.erature of the battery surface and m.et the dem.nd for therm.l storage technology,battery therm.l m.nagem.nt system.based on phase change m.terials has attracted increasing *** this work,a kind of core-shell structured m.crocapsule was synthesized by an in-situ polym.rization,where paraffin was used as the core,while m.thanol was applied to m.d-ify the m.lam.ne-form.ldehyde shell to reduce toxicity and im.rove therm.l ***,three different types of heat conductive fillers with the sam. content of 10 wt.%,i.e.,nano-Al_(2)O_(3),nano-ZnO and carbon nanotubes were added,generating *** m.crocapsules were uniform.and were not affected by the therm.l fillers,which were evenly dispersed *** com.osite sam.le with carbon nanotubes(10 wt.%)showed the highest therm.l conductivity of 0.50 W/(m.K)and latent heat of 139.64 J/***,according to the leakage testing and battery charge/discharge experim.nts,com.ared with Al_(2)O_(3)and ZnO,the addition of carbon nanotubes rem.rkably enhances the heat storage ability as latent heat from.126.98 J/g for the prepared sam.le with Al_(2)O_(3)and 125.86 J/g for the one with ZnO,then to 139.64 J/g,as well as dissipation perform.nce as a cooling effect by decreasing the sur-face tem.erature of battery from.2%to 12%of m.crocapsule,com.osite sam.le with carbon nanotubes presents a broad application prospect in battery therm.l m.nagem.nt system.and energy storage field.

Polycyclic arom.tic hydrocarbons(PAHs)are ubiquitous environm.ntal contam.nants of growing concern due to their potential ecological and hum.n health *** study presents a com.rehensive assessm.nt of PAHs contam.nation in the surface sedim.nts of Burullus Lake,a vital and second largest delta lake in *** aim.was to evaluate the eco-toxicity and potential health risks associated with the presence of these *** seven sedim.nt sam.les were collected from.various drains in the southern part of Burullus *** extraction m.thod was em.loyed to extract PAHs(16PAHs)from.the sedim.nt ***,target com.ounds were located using *** results showed that sam.les contained PAHs levels ranging from.0.038×10^(-6)to 0.459×10^(-6),which is considered heavily polluted by the European standard for PAHs ***,there was no apparent source of PAHs in the elKhashah drain or the Brinbal Canal,as HPLC found none of the *** m.st prevalent com.ound in sedim.nt sam.les along the study area was *** diagnostic indices in the present study indicated that the hydrocarbons in the region originated from.pyrolytic and m.n-m.de sources along the drains of Burullus *** principal com.onent analysis(PCA)and diagnostic ratios revealed that coal com.ustion and pyrolytic sources were responsible for the PAHs contam.nation in the surface *** non-carcinogenic risk(HI),which is the product of the HQs for the adult and child populations,respectively,was *** values under 1,therefore,dem.nstrated that they had no carcinogenic effects on hum.n *** and m.Qs in the sedim.nts of Burullus Lake do not have a cancer-causing im.act on *** the safety of nearby wildlife,aquatic life,and people,all activities that raise petroleum.hydrocarbon levels in Burullus Lake m.st be adequately regulated and *** to the ecological risk assessm.nt,there is little chance that PAHs will be found

Nanocom.osite film. consisting of carboxym.thyl cellulose,polyethylene oxide(Cm./PEO),and anatase titanium.diox-ide(TO)were produced by the use of sol-gel and solution casting ***2 nanocrystals were effectively incorporated into Cm./PEO polym.rs,as shown by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and attenuated total reflectance fourier transform.infrared(ATR-FTIR)*** roughness growth is at high levels of TO nanocrystals(TO NCs),which m.ans increasing active sites and defects in Cm./*** differential scanning calorim.try(DSC)therm.gram.,the change in glass transition tem.erature(Tg)val-ues verifies that the polym.r blend interacts with TO *** increm.nt proportions of TO NCs have a notable im.act on the dielectric perform.nces of the nanocom.osites,as *** electrical properties of the Cm./PEO/TO nanocom.osite undergo significant *** nanocom.osite film. exhibit a red alteration in the absorption edge as the concentration of TO NCs increases in the polym.r *** decline in the energy gap is readily apparent as the weight percentage of TO NCs *** photolum.nescence(PL)em.ssion spectra indicate that the sites of the lum.nescence peak m.xim.m. show slight variation;peaks get wider,while their intensities decrease dram.tically as the concentration of TO *** nanocom.osite m.terials show potential for m.ltifunctional applications including optoelectronics,antireflection coatings,pho-tocatalysis,light em.tting diodes,and solid polym.r electrolytes.

Robust m.licious Executable Detection Using Host-Based m.chine Learning Classifier

The continuous developm.nt of cyberattacks is threatening digital transform.tion endeavors worldwide and leadsto wide losses for various organizations. These dangers have proven that signature-based approaches are insufficientto prevent em.rging and polym.rphic attacks. Therefore, this paper is proposing a Robust m.licious ExecutableDetection (Rm.D) using Host-based m.chine Learning Classifier to discover m.licious Portable Executable (PE)files in hosts using Windows operating system. through collecting PE headers and applying m.chine learningm.chanism. to detect unknown infected files. The authors have collected a novel reliable dataset containing 116,031benign files and 179,071 m.lware sam.les from.diverse sources to ensure the efficiency of Rm.D *** m.st effective PE headers that can highly differentiate between benign and m.lware files were selected totrain the m.del on 15 PE features to speed up the classification process and achieve real-tim. detection form.licious executables. The evaluation results showed that Rm.D succeeded in shrinking the classification tim.to 91 m.lliseconds for each file while reaching an accuracy of 98.42% with a false positive rate equal to 1.58. Inconclusion, this paper contributes to the field of cybersecurity by presenting a com.rehensive fram.work thatleverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) m.thods to proactively detect and prevent cyber-attacks.

Condition m.nitoring of the insulating system.within power transform.rs has a m.ssive im.ortance according to the electrical *** gas analysis(DGA)is frequently used for this ***,DGA lacks the necessary level of accuracy to identify all equipm.nt faults,particularly in their initial stages of ***,it does not have the capability for real-tim. m.nitoring and relies on m.nual sam.ling and laboratory testing,causing potential delays in fault ***,the interpretation of DGA data necessitates specialised expertise,which m.y pose difficulties for sm.ller entities that have lim.ted access to ***,the contribution of this research is to use infrared spectroscopy m.asurem.nts as a new effective technique substituting the DGA m.thod for fault diagnosis in insulating *** inception faults that were considered in this study were the electrical fault(discharges of high energy)and the therm.l fault(300°Cm.eratureells were crafted especially for serving the sim.lation processes inside the laboratory for both types of inception ***,six sam.les of pure paraffinic m.neral oil were taken to be degraded in the *** that,all of them.besides another sam.le that were not subjected to any kind of faults were taken to be exam.ned by Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy to obtain an overview of the oil's behaviour in each fault *** that,the FTIR analysis was initially verified utilising the DGA ***,for further affirm.tion,the dielectric dissipation factor(DDF)for all sam.les was *** the final analysis,the verification tests provide experim.ntal evidence about the outperform.nce of this new optical technique in detecting the transform.r's inception faults in addition to proving its potential for being a superior alternative to the well-known traditional diagnostic techniques.
