This study presents a new systematic algorithm to optimize the durability of reinforced recycled aggregate *** proposed algorithm integrates machine learning with a new version of the firefly algorithm called chaotic based firefly algorithm(CFA)to evolve a rational and efficient predictive *** CFA optimizer is augmented with chaotic maps and Levy flight to improve the firefly performance in forecasting the chloride penetrability of strengthened recycled aggregate concrete(RAC).A comprehensive and credible database of distinctive chloride migration coefficient results is used to establish the developed algorithm.A dataset composite of nine effective parameters,including concrete components and fundamental characteristics of recycled aggregate(RA),is used as input to predict the migration coefficient of strengthened RAC as output,k-fold cross validation algorithm is utilized to validate the hybrid *** numerical benchmark analyses are applied to prove the superiority and applicability of the CFA algorithm in predicting chloride *** show that the developed CFA approach significantly outperforms the firefly algorithm on almost tested functions and demonstrates powerful *** addition,the proposed strategy can be an active tool to recognize the contradictions in the experimental results and can be especially beneficial for assessing the chloride resistance of RAC.

Tagetones A and B, new cytotoxic monocyclic diterpenoids from flowers of Tagetes minuta

Tagetones A(1) and B(2), two new monocyclic diterpenoids were isolated from the n-hexane fraction of fresh flowers of Tagetes minuta L.(Asteraceae). Their structures were established by multiple spectroscopic methods(IR, HR-ESI-MS, and 1D-, and 2D-NMR), in addition to comparison with literature data. Compound 1 showed cytotoxic activity towards MCF7 and A549 cancer cells with IC_(50) values being 4.68 and 4.24 μmol·L^(-1), respectively, compared to doxorubicin(IC_(50) 0.13 and 1.12 μmol·L^(-1), respectively). Compound 2 also exhibited significant activity against HCT116 cancer cells(IC_(50), 6.30 μmol·L^(-1)).

There are several challenges that hospitals are facing according to the emergency department(ED).Themain two issues are department capacity and lead ***,the lack of consensus on performance criteria to evaluateEDincreases the complication of this ***,this study aims to evaluate the efficiency of the emergency department in 20 Egyptian hospitals(12 private and 8 general hospitals)based on 13 performance *** research suggests an integrated evaluation model assess ED under a framework of plithogenic *** proposed framework addressed uncertainty and ambiguity in information with an efficient manner via presenting the evaluation expression by plithogenic *** Envelopment Analysis(DEA)technique is used in order to measure the efficiency of the emergency department of 20 hospitals according to the number of treated patients and effect on patient’s life quality based on 11 *** the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),the weight of efficiency factors will be measured based on neutrosophic linguistic scale pairwise *** operations provide more accurate aggregation result according to contradiction degree between criteria *** results show that ten of the hospitals are providing efficient service in their emergency department,while the other ten are less *** analysis of the results shows that 58%of private hospitals emergency department is operating efficiently,while the efficient general hospitals represent 38%.

Safety and efficacy of photodynamic therapy using BCECF-AM compared to mitomycin C in controlling post-operative fibrosis in a rabbit model of subscleral trabeculectomy

AIM： To evaluate the safety and efficacy of cellular photoablation using BCECF-AM [2, T-bis-（2-carboxyethyl） -5-（and-6）-carboxyfluorescein, acetoxymethyl ester mixed isomersl as a method to control postoperative fibrosis in subscleral trabeculectomy （SST） compared to mitomycin C （MMC） in a rabbit model. METHODS： A comparative prospective case-control animal study was conducted. Fourteen rabbits were subjected to SST with intraoperaUve use of wound modulating agents （MMC or BCECF-AM） of the right eye （study groups I and II respectively） and SST without use of intraoperative wound modulating agents for the left eye （control group II）. Two rabbits 4 eyes were considered as control group I with no surgical intervention. BCECF-AM was injected subconjunctivally 30min before surgery followed by intraoperative illumination with diffuse blue light for 10min. Antifibrotic efficacy was established by clinical response and histological examination. Clinical response was assessed by measuring intraocular pressure （lOP） at day 1, 3, 5, 7, 14, 21 postoperatively, Success was defined by 〉20.0% reduction in lOP from the preoperative values without anti-glaucoma medications. RESULTS： The mean percentage of reduction was 35.0% in the study group I with only one eye （14.3%） had 12.5% reduction. The mean percentage of reduction was 28.0% in the study group U with two eyes （28.6%） in study group II had 14.2% reduction each. Regarding the control group II, the mean percentage of reduction was 14.3% with 64.3% eyes had 〈20.0% reduction. There was a highly statistically significant difference between each of the study groups （right eyes） and the corresponding control group II （left eyes） as regards the mean postoperative lOP values started from day 5 in both study groups and this highly significant difference remained so till the end of the follow up period. Coal rib response during bench mining: A case study

New Polymer Syntheses Part 60: A Facile Synthetic Route to Polyamides Based on Thieno[2,3-b]thiophene and Their Corrosion Inhibition Behavior

Polyamides containing thieno[2,3-b]thiophene moiety were prepared via a simple polycondensation reaction of the diaminothieno[2,3-b]thiophene monomer la with different kinds of diacid chlorides （including oxalyl, adipoyl, sebacoyl, isophthaloyl, terephthaloyl, 4,4＇-azodibenzoyl, 3,3＇-azodibenzoyl, p-phenylene diacryloyl） in the presence of LiC1 and NMP as a solvent through lowtemperature solution polycondensation. The chemical structures of model compound and synthesized polyamides were confirmed by FTIR, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy （including 1 H-NMR and 13 C-NMR） and elemental analysis. In addition, the thermal stability, crystallinity structure and surface morphology of synthesized polyamides were characterized via thermogravametric analysis （TGA）, wide-angle X-ray diffraction analysis （WAXD） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. Also, the corrosion inhibition behavior of selected examples ofpolyamides was investigated; the inhibitive effect of the investigated polymers for carbon steel in 1.0 mol＇L-1 HCI was studied using potentiodynamic polarization （PDP） and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy （EIS） methods. PDP results displayed that the polyamides containing thieno[2,3-b]thiophene moiety can be as mixed-type inhibitors. The inhibition efficiency （P, %） was found to be in the range from 67.13% to 96.01%. There is an increase in P by the synthesized polymers in comparison to the starting monomer. The adsorption of these polymers was found to obey Langmuir adsorption isotherm.

Currently, relational database management systems (RDBMSs)face different challenges in application development due to the massive growthof unstructured and semi-structured data. This introduced new DBMS categories, known as not only structured query language (NoSQL) DBMSs, whichdo not adhere to the relational model. The migration from relational databasesto NoSQL databases is challenging due to the data complexity. This study aimsto enhance the storage performance of RDBMSs in handling a variety of *** paper presents two approaches. The first approach proposes a convenientrepresentation of unstructured data storage. Several extensive experimentswere implemented to assess the efficiency of this approach that could resultin substantial improvements in the RDBMSs storage. The second approachproposes using the JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) format to representmultivalued attributes and many to many (M:N) relationships in relationaldatabases to create a flexible schema and store semi-structured data. Theresults indicate that the proposed approaches outperform similar approachesand improve data storage performance, which helps preserve software stabilityin huge organizations by improving existing software packages whose replacement may be highly costly.
