In the process of oil recovery,experiments are usually carried out on core samples to evaluate the recovery of oil,so the numerical data are fitted into a non-dimensional equation called *** will be essential for determining the behavior of actual *** global non-dimensional time-scale is a parameter for predicting a realistic behavior in the oil f.eld from laboratory *** non-dimensional universal time parameter depends on a set of primary parameters that inherit the properties of the reservoir fluids and rocks and the injection velocity,which dynamics of the *** of the practical machine learning(ML)techniques for regression/classification problems is gradient boosting(GB)*** GB produces a prediction model as an ensemble of weak prediction models that can be done at each iteration by matching a least-squares base-learner with the current *** a randomization process increases the execution speed and accuracy of *** in this study,we developed a stochastic regression model of gradient boosting(SGB)to forecast oil *** nondimensional time-scales have been used to generate data to be used with machine learning *** SGB method has been found to be the best machine learning technique for predicting the non-dimensional time-scale,which depends on oil/rock properties.

A 56-day feeding period was performed to investigate the possible impacts of dietary nano curcumin(0,50,100,150,and 200 ppm)on the growth,nutrient utilization,non-specific immune parameters,antioxidants in Nile tilapia under chronic low temperature(21.02±0.11◦C).fishes(n=225;Initial weight=4.39±0.08 g/fish)were randomly stocked at 15 fish/tank for five experimental groups in *** low-temperature circumstances,dietary curcumin in nano form showed no notable alteration in growth variable,nutrient efficiency,digestive enzymes efficiency,biometric indices,survival rates,and hematological ***,the serum of fishes with nano curcumin diets under low-temperature stress displayed higher total protein as well as lower glucose,cortisol,and total cholesterol compared with the control ***,fish fed nano curcumin diets displayed higher lysozyme and bactericidal activities compared to the control group and the best performance was found at dietary nano curcumin level of≥100 ***,groups fed the basal diet demonstrated the poorest antioxidant capacity,and the best superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GPx)existed in fish with nano curcumin diets while the best catalase(CAT)efficiency occurred at higher nano curcumin levels≥100 *** addition,higher counts of intestinal microbiota in terms of total bacterial count(TBC),total yeast and molds count(TYMC),and coliform were noticed in fish consumed the basal diet compared to groups fed on nano curcumin *** conclusion,incorporating nano curcumin at a level of≥100 mg/kg diet(particularly at 150 mg/kg)improved a non-specific immune response,antioxidant,and healthier gastrointestinal microbiota in Nile tilapia under chronic low-temperature stress.

Comparison between seismic analysis of twisting and regular 52-story towers considering soil-structure interaction

A dynamic analysis of both twisting and regular towers is carried out to determine the results of considering soil-structure interaction(SSI)on high-rise *** addition,the difference between the seismic performance of using twisting towers over regular ones is *** twisting tower is a simulation of the Evolution Tower(Moscow).The towers’skeletons consist of RC elements and rest on a reinforced concrete piled-raft *** soil model is considered as multi-layered with the same soil properties as the zone chosen for the analysis(New Mansoura City,Egypt).The only difference between both towers is their shape in *** whole system is modelled and analyzed in a single step as one full 3D model,which is known as the direct approach in *** analyses are carried out using finite-element software(Midas GTS NX).Dynamic output responses due to three records of seismic loads are proposed and presented in some *** on the results,it is concluded that SSI has a considerable effect on the dynamic response of tall buildings mainly because of the foundation flexibility,as it leads to lengthening the vibration period,increasing the story drift and the base shear for both cases.

TfN-fICfM:sEMG-Based Gesture Recognition Using Temporal fusion Network and fuzzy Integral-based Classifier fusion

Surface electromyography(sEMG)-based gesture recognition is a key technology in the f.eld of human–computer ***,existing gesture recognition methods face challenges in effectively integrating discriminative temporal feature representations from sEMG *** this paper,we propose a deep learning framework named TfN-fICfM comprises a Temporal fusion Network(TfN)and fuzzy Integral-Based Classifier fusion method(fICfM)to improve the accuracy and robustness of gesture ***,we design a TfN module,which utilizes an attention-based recurrent multi-scale convolutional module to acquire multi-level temporal feature representations and achieves deep fusion of temporal features through a feature pyramid ***,the deep-fused temporal features are utilized to generate multiple sets of gesture category prediction confidences through a feedback ***,we employ fICfM to perform fuzzy fusion on prediction confidences,resulting in the ultimate *** study conducts extensive comparisons and ablation studies using the publicly available datasets Ninapro DB2 and *** demonstrate that the TfN-fICfM model outperforms state-of-the-art methods in classification *** research can serve as a benchmark for sEMG-based gesture recognition and related deep learning modeling.

Developing a biomaterial for wound healing applications is still a ***,dysprosium oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and graphene oxide(GO)were embedded in cast films based on polycaprolactone(PCL)to be examined for wound dressing *** techniques were used to characterize the fabricated films including X-ray diffraction(XRD),fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(fTIR),Raman,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),besides their biological *** thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)exhibits high thermal stability as the scaffold weight decreases slightly to 98.6%after raising the temperature from room temperature to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells grow up to approximately 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachment shows excellent behavior as the cells attach on most of the surface of the modified PCL which shows high biocompatibility.

Optimized system for combined production of.electricity/green hydrogen for multiple energy pathways:a case study of Egypt

By optimal sizing of a wind/photovoltaic hybrid renewable-energy(RE)system,trimming the surplus capacity to reduce the fluctuations in the electricity supplied to the grid,and using it to produce green hydrogen through electrolysis,a stable output with maximum possible capacity factor(Cf)is generated to maintain the electricity grid ***,the trimmed energy is used in a secondary conversion path that minimizes the weighted average cost of the energy generated from the entire *** surplus power-to-gas conversion allows the use of green hydrogen to produce electricity,methanol,or ammonia subject to the resource availability,site characteristics,and financial *** on robust site selection criteria,the best performance is obtained at two sites:Ras Ghareb and Minya,achieving the lowest energy cost with some variance in their *** the Ras Ghareb site,the optimally sized RE plant provided the grid with a quasi-steady capacity of 423 MW with a Cf of 80.04%and was capable of injecting 2965.8648 GWh throughout the year with the lowest cost of 2.4355¢/kWh.A surplus of 3.9%of the total energy produced from the plant was directed to produce 1922-ton H_(2)/year,achieving the lowest cost of hydrogen production of$1.9745/kg H_(2).for the other selected site,Minya,the clipped energy is used to produce 3330.47-ton H_(2)/year with an optimized lowest cost of$3.5268/kg H_(2).The difference in hydrogen costs was attributed to the number of full operating hours of the electrolyser in both *** cost is mainly affected by the electricity price and the electrolyser *** both tending to decrease,future forecasts show hydrogen cost reductions.

Machine Learning and Data fusion Approach for elastic Rock Properties Estimation and fracturability Evaluation

Accurate rock elastic property determination is vital for effective hydraulic fracturing,particularly Young’s modulus due to its link to rock *** study integrates interdisciplinary data for better predictions of.elastic modulus,combining data mining,experiments,and calibrated *** used the microstructural insights extracted from rock images for geomechanical facies ***,the petrophysical data and well logs were correlated with shear wave velocity(Vs)and Young’s *** developed a machine-learning workflow to predict Young’s modulus and assess rock fracturability,considering mineral composition,geomechanics,and *** findings indicate that artificial neural networks effectively predict Young’s modulus,while K-Means clustering and hierarchical support vector machines excel in identifying rock and geomechanical *** Microscale thin section analysis in conjunction with fracture modeling enhances our understanding of fracture geometries and facilitates fracturability ***,fracturability is controlled by specific geomechanical facies during initiation and propagation and influenced by continuity of geomechanical facies in small depth *** conclusion,this study demonstrates data mining and machine learning potential for predicting rock properties and assessing fracturability,aiding hydraulic fracturing design optimization through diverse data and advanced methods.

Twenty-four rice genotypes were examined to assess genetic variability,heritability,and correlations for seven-grain quality traits,eight nutritional elements,and *** revealed signiﬁcant differences for the quality traits *** every trait under study,the phenotypic coefﬁcient of variation was higher than the correspon-dence genotypic coefﬁcient of *** in a broad sense varied from 29.75%for grain length to 98.31%for the elongation *** percentage recovery had a highly signiﬁcant positive correlation with milling and head rice ***,milling percentage had a highly positive correlation with head rice *** amylose percentage,all the genotypes belonged to low amylose except the Hassawi-1 variety,which had intermediate amylose *** nutrition contents of magnesium(Mg),sodium(Na),potas-sium(K),calcium(Ca),copper(Cu),manganese(Mn),zinc(Zn),iron(fe),or protein percentage gave different variations for 24 rice genotypes under all the nutritional *** the 24 genotypes,ten rice genotypes–HighNutrient-1,HighNutrient-2,HighNutrient-9,HighNutrient-8,HighNutrient-3,Hassawi-2,HighNutrient-7,HighNutrient-6,Hassawi-1,and HighNutrient-4–had the highest heist value for all nutritional and protein con-tents,and could be used as a donor to improving new *** was a positive and signiﬁcant correlation between magnesium Mg,K,Zn and ***,K had a positive correlation with zinc Zn,fe,and protein *** analysis was divided into two groups:theﬁrst group included all genotypes rich in nutri-ents,while the remaining genotypes with low nutritional content were included in the second group.

Mafic and felsic magmatism in the Wadi Kalalat area, South Eastern Desert, Egypt: mineralogy, geochemistry and geodynamic evolution during the Neoproterozoic in the Nubian Shield

In the south Eastern Desert of Egypt,two contrasting types of magmatism(mafic and felsic) are recorded in the Wadi Kalalat area,and form the Gabal el Motaghiarat and Gabal Batuga intrusions,*** two intrusions post-dates ophiolitic and arc associations represented by serpentinite and metagabbro-diorite,*** mafic intrusion has a basal ultramafic member represented by fresh peridotite,which is followed upward by olivine gabbro and anorthositic or *** mafic intrusion pertains to the Alaskan-type mafic-ultramafic intrusions in the Arabian-Nubian Shield(ANS)being of tholeiitic nature and emplaced in a typical arc *** the other hand,the Gabal Batuga intrusion comprises three varieties of fresh A-type granites of high K-calc alkaline nature,which is peraluminous and garnetbearing in parts.A narrow thermal aureole in the olivine gabbro of the mafic intrusion was developed due to the intrusion of the Batuga *** results in the development of a hornfelsic melagabbro variety in which the composition changed from tholeiitic to a calc-alkaline composition due to the addition of S_(i)O_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),alkalis,lithosphile elements(LILEs) such as Rb(70 ppm) and Y(28 ppm) from the felsic *** the thermal aureole,Rb amounts 2-8 ppm and Y lies in the range elieved that the Gabal Batuga felsic intrusion started to emplace during the waning stage of an arc system,with transition from the pre-collisional(i.e.,arc setting) to post-collisional and within plate *** from which the Gabal Batuga granites were fractionated is high-K calc-alkaline giving rise to a typical post-collisional A-type granite(A_(2)-subtype) indicating an origin from an underplating crustal ***,it is stressed here that the younger granites in the ANS are not exclusively post-collisional and within-plate but most likely they started to develop before closure of the arc *** possible source(s) of mafic magmas
