Click reactions are not specific reactions, but they are a way of generating products that follow examples in nature by joining small moieties, with each other producing a huge molecule in a good yield. The mind of that reaction is used in biomolecules synthesis, pharmacological and various biometric applications. The first Click reaction is the Copper compounds-catalyzed reaction of an azide with an alkyne （CuAAC）, this copper-catalyzed ＂click＂ does not require legands on the metal but the metal oxides also can accelerate the reactions. For enhancement the products of Click reactions we were replacing the copper compounds in a classical reaction by the prepared nanocopper compound （NPs）. And measure the consumption of starting material. Behind the evolution is the catalytic effect of nanocopper compounding （NPs） on （H2O2）. Owing to the huge surface area of nanocopper compound （NPs）, it was found that： the （NPs） can speed up decomposition of H2O2, also can accelerate the classical click reaction.

Flow Rate through a Blood Vessel Deformed Due To a Uniform Pressure

In this paper, we present the mathematical equations that govern the deformation of an imbedded blood vessel under external uniform pressure taking into consideration the nonliner behavior of the soft tissue surrounding the vessel. We present a bifurcation analysis and give explicit formulas for the bifurcation points and the corresponding first order approximations for the\emph{non-trivial} solutions. We then show the results of a MATLAB program that integrates the equilibrium equations and calculates the blood flow rate through a deformed cross section for given values of the elasticity parameters and pressure. Finally, we provide (numerical) verification that the flow rate as a function of the elasticity parameters of the soft tissue surrounding the blood vessel is convex, and therefore validate the invertibility of our model.

AIM To investigate the patient-outcomes of newly developed pressure drop coefficient(CDP) in diagnosing epicardial stenosis(eS) in the presence of concomitant microvascular disease(MVD).MeTHODS Patients from our clinical trial were divided into two subgroups with:(1) cut-off of coronary flow reserve(CFR) elations were performed for both subgroups between CDP and hyperemic microvascular resistance(HMR),a diagnostic parameter for assessing the severity of *** regression analysis was used for these ***,in each of the subgroups,comparisons were made between fractional flow reserve(FFR) 27.9 groups for assessing major adverse cardiac events(MACe:Primary outcome).Comparisons were also made between the survival curves for FFR 27.9 *** tailed chi-squared and Fischer's exact tests were performed for comparison of the primary outcomes,and the log-rank test was used to compare the Kaplan-Meier survival curves.P ests was considered statistically *** Significant linear correlations were observed between CDP and HMR for both CFR etic(r = 0.61,P e CFR e %MACe(primary outcomes) for CDP > 27.9 group(7.7%,2/26) was lower than FFR e diabetic subgroup,the %MACe for CDP > 27.9 group(12.5%,2/16) was lower than FFR ed better event-free survival for CDP > 27.9 group(n = 26) when compared with FFR e diabetic subgroup,CDP > 27.9 group(n = 16) showed higher survival times compared to FFR group(n = 11);P = *** CDP correlated significantly with HMR and resulted in better %MACe as well as survival rates in comparison to *** positive trends demonstrate that CDP could be a potential diagnostic endpoint for

High cost has been pointed among factors that limit the promotion of geopolymers. To contribute to the reduction of the use of costly industrial sodium silicate in activators for geopolymers, a gel obtained with RHA and concentrated sodium hydroxide was used in the present study to develop an alkaline activator with 8 M NaOH and to produce geopolymers with crushed fired clay bricks wastes (FCBW). Characteristics of the gel were compared to that of commercial sodium silicate which was also mixed with 8 M NaOH in the ratio 1:1 to produce geopolymers. Chemical and mineralogical analyses were done on raw materials. Fourier Transformed Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) was done on the gel, commercial sodium silicate and products. Biaxial four point flexural strength, bulk density, water absorption and scanning electron microscopy (SeM) tests were also done on products. Results showed that RHA-NaOH alkaline activator has good potential in consolidating FCBW powder through geopolymerization process which gave products that had characteristics not far from that when the commercial sodium silicate was used. The gel obtained by mixing RHA and NaOH can contribute to the reduction of the use of costly commercial sodium silicate in the production process of geopolymers. However, appropriate filtration process is needed for the RHA-NaOH gel to reduce its impurities as undissolved entities, which will consequently contribute to improve the flexural strength, the density and the microstructure of its products which were low compared to when commercial sodium silicate was used.

Cytotoxic effect of Soy Bean Saponin against Colon Cancer

Saponin is an important class of natural products that can be presented in many plants, it has a diverse range of properties, which include pharmacological and medicinal properties, antimicrobial, insecticidal, and anticancer activities. The aim of this study was to extract the saponin from different egyptian legumes sources and evaluate the antitumor activity of partially purified saponin extracted from soybean in mouse colon cancer cells in vitro and compare its activity with cisplatin as reference chemotherapeutic drug. In this study saponin extracted from soybean and partially purified using silica gel column chromatography and then characterized by using IR and HPLC techniques. Antitumor activity of partially purified saponin was evaluated by using MTT assay, caspase-9 activity and apoptotic effect by flow cytometric analysis. Our results showed that the high saponin was present in soybean with concentration 94.8 mg/g dry weight. The partially purified soybean saponin inhibited the proliferation of colon cancer cell line in a dose-dependent manner with IC50 43.4 μg/ml after 48 hrs treatment. The proliferation inhibitory effect of soybean saponin was associated with its apoptosis-inducing effect by activation of caspase-9 and increasing the percent of apoptotic cells to 91.02% when compared with negative control after analysis by flow cytometry. In conclusion, soybean saponin had antitumor activity against mouse colon cancer cell line and its mechanism was mediated through apoptotic effect.

A Retrospective Study of Ovarian Sex Cord Stromal Tumors at the egyptian National Cancer Institute

Background: Ovarian sex cord-stromal tumors are an uncommon heterogeneous group of tumors with different biological behaviors and clinico-patho- logic aspects. Aim of the Work: This study will review the clinico-pathologic aspects of sex-cord stromal ovarian tumors at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Cairo University, egypt, as well as their management and follow-up regarding disease free survival and overall survival. Patients and Methods: This retrospective study was conducted at the National Cancer Institute Cairo University, egypt on female patients with ovarian sex cord stromal tumors in the period from January 2008 to December 2012 with a follow-up period of 24 to 84 months. The age of the patients, different clinical presentations, radiological findings, associated uterine bleeding (need for endometrial biopsy), pre-operative CA125 levels, surgical management done, different histopathological types, different biological behaviors, presence of ascites (and its correlation with the histopathology), Adjuvant chemotherapy (according to biological behavior and pathological type), and follow-up of non-benign cases for up to 84 months will all be documented and studied. Results: The mean age at presentation was 47.34;abdominal pain and mass were the commonest presentations 54.5% and 53.2% respectively;the main radiologic findings were a pelvic mass +/- ascites which had no correlation to the pathological type (p = 0.075). endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma were associated with 22% and 2.5% of cases respectively. Stages I and II represented 95% of patients with non-benign tumors (48 patients). Panhysterectomy +/- infracolic omentectomy or fertility sparing surgery were done in 70.1% and 29.9% of patients respectively. AGCTs were the commonest pathological type (49.4%). Adjuvant chemotherapy was given to 14 patients (46.7%) with non-benign tumors. 6 recurrences (20%) in 30 patients with non-benign tumors on regular follow-up were documented. The med

Total Hip Replacement in Young Adults Less Than Fifty Year Old: Our experience

Background: We report a retrospective study of 47 total prosthesis of hip put in place among the young adult of less than fifty years in the service of Traumatology and Orthopedics at the Wing IV of the CHU Ibn Rochd of Casablanca, over a period from January 2008 to March 2014, with an average rate of decline of 42 months. Results: The deliberate group of 43 patients (47 hips including 4 bilateral) consisted of 26 women, either 60, 47% and 17 men, either 39, 53%. The average age of our patients was 36 years. In our series, the predominant etiology has been conducted for the indication of the hip replacement was the aseptic osteonecrosis of the femoral head which has represented 31.91%. With regards to the choice of implants, 85% of PTH were non-cemented, the cemented PTH has been used in 15% of cases. The Friction Torque metal/polyethylene was used in all cases. The functional outcome was appreciated by the rating of Merle of Aubigne before and after arthroplasty. The average rate of decline of 42 months, and the results were generally satisfactory. They were excellent in 27.78% of cases, very good in 19.44% of cases and good in 44.44% of cases. The results on the Pain were remarkable: the rating of the pain going 2.8 in pre-operative at 5.6 at the latest decline. The results on the walking and mobility were also good. It was noted as a complication: 4 cases of prosthetic dislocation, 1 case of aseptic descellement bipolar, 2 cases of early sepsis on hardware, 3 cases of paralysis of the sciatic external popliteal and 4 cases of periprothetiques ossification. In total, 5 total prosthesis of hip were occasions. The young age does not seem to be an obstacle to the prosthetic surgery. Conclusion: However, a major question remains concerning the distant future of these prostheses in young active subjects, because they will be submitted for many years in a job which can cause the descellement of prosthetic parts.
