Poor sta.ility a.d dispersibility,a. well a. a.grega.ion a.e considered a. ma.or cha.lenges in clinica. a.plica.ion of iron oxide na.opa.ticles(IONPs).Severa. studies ha.e shown tha. the synthesis pa.a.eters a.d post-synthesis trea.ments e.g.,drying methods,ha.e the ca.a.ility to improve the pa.ticles'***,we investiga.e the combined effect of synthesis a.d post-trea.ment pa.a.eters on the pa.ticle size,sta.ility a.d ma.netism of ***(Fe_(3)O_(4))NPs were prepa.ed via.co-precipita.ion a.d post-trea.ed using different methods,i.e.(i)freeze dried a.-53℃,0.133 mba. for 48 h(liquid nitrogen frozen(LFD)a.d freezer frozen(FFD)),(ii)va.uum oven dried(VOD)a. 60℃for 24 h,a.d(iii)kept wet colloida.(WET),dispersed in deionized *** Fe_(3)O_(4)NPs’chemica. functiona. groups,size,sha.e,crysta.linity,sta.ility,a.grega.ion,porosity,a.d ma.netic properties were further a.a.ysed using different cha.a.terisa.ion *** results showed tha.,while the WET sa.ple ha. the best sta.ility a.d significa.tly less a.grega.ion a. different tempera.ures,a.ongst post-trea.ed Fe_(3)O_(4)NPs,LFD sa.ple exhibited the best sta.ility(up to 37℃),dispersion a.d sma.lest polydispersity ***,a.l dried NPs ha. superpa.a.a.netic cha.a.teristics,while,LFD Fe_(3)O_(4)NPs ha. better ma.netic properties a.d sta.ility tha. other drying methods.

***,the ma.n cha.lenge in this process is the high minimum miscibility pressure(MMP)between na.ura. ga. a.d crude oil,which limits its a.plica.ion a.d recovery fa.tor,especia.ly in hightempera.ure ***,we present a.novel investiga.ion to qua.tify the effect of chemica.a.sisted MMP reduction on the oil recovery ***,we mea.ured the interfa.ia. tension(IFT)of the metha.e-oil system in the presence of chemica. or CO_(2) to ca.cula.e the MMP reduction a. a.consta.t tempera.ure(373K)using the va.ishing interfa.ia. tension(VIT)***,we performed three coreflooding experiments to qua.tify the effect of MMP reduction on the oil recovery fa.tor under different injection *** interfa.ia. tension mea.urements show tha. a.ding a.sma.l fra.tion(1.5 wt%)of the tested surfa.ta.t(SOLOTERRa.ME-6)a.hieved 9%of MMP reduction,while a.ding 20 wt%of CO_(2) to the metha.e yields 13%of MMP ***,the coreflooding results highlight the significa.ce of a.hieving miscibility during ga. injection,a. the ultima.e recovery fa.tor increa.ed from 65.5%under immiscible conditions to 77.2%using chemica.-a.sisted metha.e,a.d to 79%using ga. mixture a.ter a.hieving nea. miscible *** results demonstra.e the promising potentia. of the MMP reduction to signifi-ca.tly increa.e the oil recovery fa.tor during ga. ***,these results will likely expa.d the a.plica.ion envelop of the miscible ga. injection,in a.dition to the environmenta. benefits of utilizing the produced ga. by re-injection/recycling instea. of fla.ing which contributes to reducing the greenhouse ga. emissions.
