Developing a biomaterial for wound healing applications is still a ***,dysprosium oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and graphene oxide(GO)were embedded in cast films based on polycaprolactone(PCL)to be examined for wound dressing *** techniques were used to characterize the fabricated films including X-ray diffraction(XrD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIr),raman,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),besides their biological *** thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)exhibits high thermal stability as the scaffold weight decreases slightly to 98.6%after raising the temperature from room temperature to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells grow up to approximately 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachment shows excellent behavior as the cells attach on most of the surface of the modified PCL which shows high biocompatibility.

Smart parking lots are smart places capable of supporting both parking and charging services for electric vehicles(EVs).In order to manage EV charging,the parking lot local controller(PLLC)requires data exchange with EV charging stations(EVCSs)through communication ***,data losses and communication delays are unavoidable and may significantly degrade the system *** work aims to investigate the underlying communication networks for remote monitoring of EVCSs in a smart campus parking *** communication network consists of two subnetworks:parking area network(PAN)and campus area network(CAN).PAN covers communication among EVs,charging stations and PLLC,while CAN enables dedicated communication between PLLCs and a global controller of the *** one of the major obstacles in EV system is the lack of unified communication architecture to integrate EVCS in the power grid,we develop communication models for the in-vehicle system and EVCSs based on logical node concept of IEC 61850 ***,we implement network models for EVCSs using OPNET *** communication technologies and configurations are considered in modeling and simulations,and end-toend delay is evaluated and discussed.

Synthesis and characterization of CNT/Ce-TiO_2 nanocomposite for phenol degradation

An innovative photocatalyst, Carbon nanotube （CNT） supported Ce-TiO2 nanocomposite was successfully synthesized via modi-fied sol gel method and investigated in a batch reactor for abolition of phenol under UV light spectrum. Characterization of catalyst micro-structure and internal properties were done by means of X-ray diffraction （XrD）, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller （BET）, scanning electron micros-copy （SEM）, transmission electron microscopy （TEM） and UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectra （DrS）. Ce doping can inhibit phase transfor-mation from anatase to rutile and eliminate the recombination of electron-hole pairs in the catalyst. The presence of CNT in TiO2 composite can both increase the photoactivity under UV and change surface properties to achieve sensitivity to visible light. The optimum mass ratio of CNT support and cerium （Ce） dopant in TiO2 was the prominent factor to harvest CNT/Ce-TiO2 photocatalyst nanocomposite. The results demonstrated that optimum mass ratio of CNT：TiO2：Ce was 0.02：1.0：0.06, which resulted in the great performance of the photocatalyst to de-grade about 94% of phenol in a 50 mg/L solution in only 3 h. In this paper, dissimilar role of CNT support and Ce dopant in the TiO2 photo-catalysis of phenol was also discussed.

We investigate and concentrate on new infinitesimal generators of Lie symmetries for an extended(2+1)-dimensional Calogero-Bogoyavlenskii-Schif(eCBS)equation using the commutator table which results in a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations(ODEs)which can be manually *** two stages of Lie symmetry reductions,the eCBS equation is reduced to non-solvable nonlinear ODEs using different combinations of optimal Lie *** the integration method and the riccati and Bernoulli equation methods,we investigate new analytical solutions to those *** substituting to the original variables generates new solutions to the eCBS *** results are simulated through three-and two-dimensional plots.

This paper displays an efficient numerical technique of realizing mathematical models for an adiabatic tubular chemical reactor which forms an irreversible exothermic chemical *** a steady-state solution for an adiabatic rounded reactor,the model can be diminished to a conventional nonlinear differential equation which converts into a system of the nonlinear equation that can proceed numerically utilizing Newton’s iterative *** operational matrix of coordination is derived and is utilized to decrease the model for an adiabatic tubular chemical reactor to an arrangement of algebraic *** execution,basic activities,and precise arrangements are the fundamental highlights of the proposed wavelet *** numerical solutions attained by the present technique have been contrasted and compared with other techniques.

The oncofetal protein IMP3 is an indicator of early recurrence and poor outcome in mucoepidermoid carcinoma of salivary glands

Objective: Mucoepidermoid carcinoma(MEC) is the most common primary malignancy of the salivary glands. Insulin-like growth factor-II m rNA-binding protein-3(IMP3) is an important prognostic factor in some cancers and a tool that differentiates between benign and malignant pancreatic lesions. This study aimed to identify a relationship between the expression of IMP3 and the outcome of salivary gland MEC, as well as to differentiate MEC from pleomorphic adenoma(PA).Methods: Tissue specimens from 70 cases of salivary gland MEC, 40 cases of PA, and 10 cases with normal salivary gland were examined immunohistochemically for IMP3. The association among the expression of IMP3, clinicopathological characteristics and patient's survival was ***: IMP3 was present in 51.4% of MEC but absent in PA and normal salivary gland tissues. IMP3 expression was associated with age > 60 years, submandibular gland tumors, tumor size > 4 cm, high-grade tumors, lymph node metastasis, involvement of surgical margins, perineural invasion, distant metastasis, advanced TNM stage, tumor relapse, and death(Preased expression of IMP3, tumors of the submandibular gland, and lymph node metastasis were independent prognostic factors of disease-free survival(DFS). In addition, IMP3 was a strong predictor of overall survival(OS) together with distant metastasis and intermediate and high-grade ***: IMP3 expression is highly important in evaluating the outcome of MEC. IMP3 can be used to differentiate MEC from PA of salivary glands.

This work aims to present nonlinear models that arise in ocean *** are many models of ocean waves that are present in *** shallow water,the linearization of the equations requires critical conditions on wave capacity than it make in deep water,and the strong nonlinear belongings are *** use Lie symmetry analysis to obtain different types of soliton solutions like one,two,and three-soliton solutions in a(2+1)dimensional variable-coefficient Bogoyavlensky Konopelchenko(VCBK)equation that describes the interaction of a riemann wave reproducing along the y-axis and a long wave reproducing along the x-axis in engineering and *** use the Lie symmetry analysis then the integrating factor method to obtain new solutions of the VCBK *** demonstrate the physical meaning of the solutions obtained by the presented techniques,the graphical performance has been demonstrated with some *** presented equation has fewer dimensions and is reduced to ordinary differential equations using the Lie symmetry technique.

Sea wave energy generators or converters(WECs)have the potential to become a viable technology for clean,renewable energy *** the WEC technologies,the oscillating water columns(OWCs)are the most common WEC devices *** have been studied and developed over many ***-chamber oscillating water columns(MC-OWC)have the potential to have a higher energy conversion when extracting energy in mixed sea states than single-chamber *** the work reported in this paper,physical experiments are carried under regular wave conditions to test the wave power extraction of a fixed MC-OWC small-scale *** Power Take-Off(PTO)of the device is simulated using orifice *** flow characteristics through these orifices are pre-calibrated such that the extracted power can be obtained only using the pressure *** condition effects on the damping of the PTO of the device power extraction are *** test results illustrate that the PTO system damping is critical and affects device performance.
