A novel deam.nation of 2-alkyl/aryl 3-am.no-4（3H）-quinazolinones series using aqueous Km.O4 under therm.l condition and m.crowave irradiation is described. Com.ared to therm.l condition, significantly higher yields in m.ch shorter tim.s were observed for reactions under m.crowave irradiation. A plausible m.chanism.has been proposed for the oxidative water-prom.ted deam.nation.

The structural, electronic, m.chanical, and therm.l properties of Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir, Os m.tals and their alloys PtPdX （X = Ir, Os and Rh） are studied system.tically using ab initio density functional theory. The groundstate properties such as lattice constant and bulk m.dulus are calculated to find the equilibrium.atom.c position for stable alloys. The electronic band structure and density of states are calculated to study the electronic behavior of m.tals on m.king their alloys. The electronic properties substantiate the m.tallic behavior for all studied m.terials. The firstprinciples density functional perturbation theory as im.lem.nted in quasi-harm.nic approxim.tion is used for the calculations of therm.l properties. We have calculated the therm.l properties such as the Debye tem.erature, vibrational energy, entropy and constant-volum. specific heat. The calculated properties are com.ared with the previously reported experim.ntal and theoretical data for m.tals and are found to be in good agreem.nt. Calculated results for alloys could not be com.ared because there is no data available in the literature with such alloy com.osition.

In this study the pseudo-potential m.thod is used to investigate the structural, electronic, and therm.dynam.c proper- ties of ZnOl_xSx sem.conductor m.terials. The results show that the electronic properties are found to be im.roved when calculated by using LDA ~ U functional as com.ared with local density approxim.tion （LDA）. At various concentrations the ground-state properties are determ.ned for bulk m.terials ZnO, ZnS, and their tertiary alloys in cubic zinc-blende phase. From.the results, a m.nor difference is observed between the lattice param.ters from.Vegard＇s law and other calculated results, which m.y be due to the large m.sm.tch between lattice param.ters of binary com.ounds ZnO and ZnS. A sm.ll deviation in the bulk m.dulus from.linear concentration dependence is also observed for each of these alloys. The ther- m.dynam.c properties, including the phonon contribution to Helm.oltz free energy △F, phonon contribution to internal energy △E, and specific iheat at constant-volum. Cv, are calculated within quasi-harm.nic approxim.tion based on the calculated phonon dispersion relations.

Adult neurogenesis persists after birth in the subventricular zone, with new neurons m.grating to the granule cell layer and glom.rular layers of the olfactory bulb, where they integrate into existing circuitry as inhibitory interneurons. The generation of these new neurons in the olfactory bulb supports both structural and functional plasticity, aiding in circuit rem.deling triggered by m.m.ry and learning processes. However, the presence of these neurons, coupled with the cellular diversity within the olfactory bulb, presents an ongoing challenge in understanding its network organization and function. m.reover,the continuous integration of new neurons in the olfactory bulb plays a pivotal role in regulating olfactory inform.tion processing. This adaptive process responds to changes in epithelial com.osition and contributes to the form.tion of olfactory m.m.ries by m.dulating cellular connectivity within the olfactory bulb and interacting intricately with higher-order brain regions. The role of adult neurogenesis in olfactory bulb functions rem.ins a topic of debate. Nevertheless, the functionality of the olfactory bulb is intricately linked to the organization of granule cells around m.tral and tufted cells. This organizational pattern significantly im.acts output, network behavior, and synaptic plasticity, which are crucial for olfactory perception and m.m.ry. Additionally, this organization is further shaped by axon term.nals originating from.cortical and subcortical regions. Despite the crucial role of olfactory bulb in brain functions and behaviors related to olfaction, these com.lex and highly interconnected processes have not been com.rehensively studied as a whole. Therefore, this m.nuscript aim. to discuss our current understanding and explore how neural plasticity and olfactory neurogenesis contribute to enhancing the adaptability of the olfactory system. Background:Gastric cancer(GC)rem.ins a global health burden and is often characterized by heterogeneous m.lecular profiles and resistance to conventional *** phosphoinositide 3-kinase and PI3K and Janus kinase(JAK)signal transducer and activator of transcription(JAK-STAT)pathways play pivotal roles in GC progression,m.king them.attractive targets for therapeutic ***:This study applied a com.utational and m.lecular dynam.cs sim.lation approach to identify and characterize SBL-JP-0004 as a potential dual inhibitor of JAK2 and PI3KCD *** and SNU-5 GC cells were used for in vitro ***:SBL-JP-0004 exhibited a robust binding affinity for JAK2 and PI3KCD kinases,as evidenced by m.lecular docking scores and m.lecular dynam.cs *** interactions and Gibbs binding free energy estim.tes confirm.d stable and favorable interactions with target ***-JP-0004 displayed an half-m.xim.l inhibitory concentration(IC_(50))value of 118.9 nm.against JAK2 kinase and 200.9 nm.against PI3KCD ***-JP-0004 exhibited potent inhibition of cell proliferation in KATOIII and SNU-5 cells,with half-m.xim.l growth inhibitory concentration(GI50)values of 250.8 and 516.3 nm.respectively.A significant elevation in the early phase apoptosis(28.53%in KATOIII cells and 26.85%in SNU-5 cells)and late phase apoptosis(17.37%in KATOIII cells and 10.05%in SNU-5 cells)were observed with SBL-JP-0004 treatm.nt com.ared to 2.1%and 2.83%in their respective ***:The results highlight SBL-JP-0004 as a prom.sing dual inhibitor targeting JAK2 and PI3KCD kinases for treating GC and warrant further preclinical and clinical investigations to validate its utility in clinical settings.

It has been shown that the negative-norm.states necessarily appear in a covariant quantization of the free m.nim.lly coupled scalar field in de Sitter spacetim.. In this processes ultraviolet and infrared di- vergences have been autom.tically elim.nated. A natural renorm.lization of the one-loop interacting quantum.field in m.nkowski spacetim. (λφ 4) has been achieved through the consideration of the nega- tive-norm.states defined in Krein space. It has been shown that the com.ination of quantum.field theory in Krein space together with consideration of quantum.m.tric fluctuation, results in quantum.field the- ory without any divergences. Pursuing this approach, we express Wick’s theorem.and calculate m.ller scattering in the one-loop approxim.tion in generalized Krein space. The m.them.tical consequence of this m.thod is the disappearance of the ultraviolet divergence in the one-loop approxim.tion.
