In recent y.ars, research on the estimation of human emotions has been active, and its application is expected in various fields. Biological reactions, such as electroencephalography.(EEG) and root mean square successive difference (RMSSD), are indicators that are less influenced by.individual arbitrariness. The present study.used EEG and RMSSD signals to assess the emotions aroused by.emotion-stimulating images in order to investigate whether various emotions are associated with characteristic biometric signal fluctuations. The participants underwent EEG and RMSSD while viewing emotionally.stimulating images and answering the questionnaires. The emotions aroused by.emotionally.stimulating images were assessed by.measuring the EEG signals and RMSSD values to determine whether different emotions are associated with characteristic biometric signal variations. Real-time emotion analy.is software was used to identify.the evoked emotions by.describing them in the Circumplex Model of Affect based on the EEG signals and RMSSD values. Emotions other than happiness did not follow the Circumplex Model of Affect in this study. However, ventral attentional activity.may.have increased the RMSSD value for disgust as the β/θ value increased in right-sided brain waves. Therefore, the right-sided brain wave results are necessary.when measuring disgust. Happiness can be assessed easily.using the Circumplex Model of Affect for positive scene analy.is. Improving the current analy.is methods may.facilitate the investigation of face-to-face communication in the future using biometric signals.

为降低高速铁路隧道洞口散射的微压力波峰值,几十年来一直对列车车头外形进行优化。文章所提研究基于紧致格林函数(WT)理论、测试结果(WE)及WT和WE的平均值(WM),采用这3种传递函数对多阶车头外形进行优化。进行模型测试来测定列车各车头偏位运行进入隧道时产生压缩波的最大压力梯度。对于基于WT或WE优化列车车头,最大压力梯度值不能充分减小,压力梯度波形不是梯形的。虽然基于WM优化车头可以明显降低最大压力梯度,但最大压力梯度值比基于计算流体力学优化车头的要大。

The amount of produced data required to be visualized and analy.ed has grown y.ar by.y.ar,and the traditional approach of using larger computational resources or exploiting task and data parallelism seems to have reached its ***,a new paradigm for large-scale data visualization becomes highly.desired,and in this paper,we propose a new and optimized visualization pipeline which uses a point rendering-based early.visibility.testing for reducing the unnecessary.rendering in the final stage of the visualization pipeline,and we named this technique“Early.Visibility.Test Point Rendering”.In a densely.populated poly.onal mesh scene,where multiple triangles may.cover a single pixel,unnecessary.and wasteful rendering will occur in the final stage of the traditional visualization pipeline,that is,during the rasterization ***,we propose an alternative visualization pipeline by.introducing the“Early.Visibility.Test Point Rendering”for selecting only.the visible poly.onal elements for a given visualization *** visibility.testing can be executed on the CPU side,and only.the visible poly.onal elements are needed to be sent to the GPU for an optimized *** could verify.the effectiveness of our proposed approach by.using sy.thetic datasets,and also a real-world large-scale simulation result.

A large-scale finite element modeling, simulation and visualization for wind flows are presented. The modeling method using GIS/CAD data is employ.d. The stabilized parallel finite element method based on SUPG/PSPG method is employ.d for the analy.is of wind flows. The present method is applied to the simulation of wind flow and contaminant spread in urban area. The visualization based on virtual reality.is employ.d to evaluate the mesh quality.and computational results. The computed results are qualitatively.in agreement with the experimental results and actual phenomena. The present method is shown to be a useful tool to simulate the wind flows in urban area.

Purpose： To investigate the link between peak oxy.en uptake and regional body.composition by.dual energy.X-ray.absorptiometry.（DEXA） in Japanese subjects. Methods： A total of 93 men （42.2 ± 12.3 y.ars old） and 106 women （43.5 ± 12.3 y.ars old） were enrolled in this cross-sectional investigation study. Peak oxy.en uptake was measured by.the breath-by.breath method. Regional body.composition i.e., body.fat mass, lean body.mass, and body.fat percentage was evaluated using DEXA. In addition, metabolic risk parameters were also evaluated. Results： Peak oxy.en uptake was 37.6± 8.7 mL/kg/min in men and 31.1 ± 6.4 mL/kg/min in women, and decreased with age in both genders. Peak oxy.en uptake was significantly.correlated with total body.fat percentage （men： r = -0.684, p 〈 0.0001; women： r = -0.681, p 〈 0.0001）. These associations remained even after adjusting for age and total lean body.mass. However, peak work rate was positively.and significantly.correlated with leg lean body.mass. Conclusion： Peak oxy.en uptake was closely.correlated with total body.fat percentage in both genders. Aerobic exercise as well as leg resistance training might be useful for improving peak oxy.en uptake in Japanese subjects. Copy.ight
