BACKGROUND With the development of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI),the number of interventional procedures without implantation,such as bioresorbable stents(BRS)and drug-coated balloons,has increased *** drug-eluting stent unloading is one of the most common clinical ***,BRS detachment is more concealed and harmful,but has yet to be reported in clinical *** this study,we report a case of BRS unloading and successful *** is a case of a 59-year-old male with the following medical history:“Type 2 diabetes mellitus”for 2 years,maintained with metformin extended-release tablets,1 g PO BID;“hypertension”for 20 years,with long-term use of metoprolol sustained-release tablets,47.5 mg PO QD;“hyperlipidemia”for 20 years,without regular *** was admitted to the emergency department of our hospital due to intermittent chest pain lasting 18 hours,on February 20,2022 at 15:*** results showed sinus rhythm,ST-segment elevation in leads I and avL,and poor R-wave progression in leads V1–***-sensitivity troponin I level was 4.59 ng/mL,indicating an acute high lateral wall myocardial *** patient’s family requested treatment with BRS,without *** PCI,the BRS became unloaded but was successfully *** patient was followed up for 2 years;he had no episodes of angina pectoris and was in generally good *** We describe a case of a 59-year-old male experienced BRS unloading and successful *** analyzing images,the causes of BRS unloading and the treatment plan are discussed to provide insights for BRS release *** discuss preventive measures for BRS unloading.

Protective effect of melatonin on reexpansion pulmonary edema in rats model

Background Rapid reexpansion of collapsed lungs leads to reexpansion pulmonary edema （RPE）. We aimed to investigate the effect of melatonin in the prevention of RPE formation. Methods We used a Wistar rat model in which the left lung was collapsed by ligating the left bronchus for 48 hours and then reexpanded and ventilated for an additional 2 hours. Thirty minutes before reexpansion, we injected melatonin （10 mg/kg） or vehicle intraperitoneally. We compared the wet/dry ratio, oxygenation index, myeloperoxidase （MPO） activity, nitric oxide （NO）, malondialdehyde （MDA） and interleukin 8 （IL-8） levels in the reexpanded lungs between untreated and treated animals. Results We found that the wet/dry ratio of the melatonin group was significantly lower than that of the vehicle group, and the oxygenation index was higher in the melatonin group. Compared with the control, melatonin pretreatment significantly decreased the activities of IL-8, NO, MDA levels and MPO in lung tissues. Histopathology of reexpanded lungs showed that the melatonin pretreatment group had less pulmonary edema and less inflammatory cell infiltration. Conclusion Melatonin decreases pulmonary edema and improves oxygenation after reexpansion by attenuating oxidative stress and inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokines.

Aim： To investigate whether estrogen stimulates the proliferation of spermatogonia or induces spermatogenesis in cryptorchid mice. Methods： Mice were surgically rendered cryptorchid, then treated with different doses of 17β- estradiol （E2） s.c. once a day. Mice were killed at sexual maturity （45 days of age）, and histological analysis and inununofluorescence were performed. Serum follicle stimulating hormone （FSH）, estradiol, testosterone and luteinizing hormone （LH） were measured. Results： Low doses of E2 had no notable effect on spermatogonia, but at higher doses, E2 stimulated the proliferation of spermatogonia. Conclusion： E2 has a dose-related mitogenic effect on spermatogonia.

Local Torrential Rainfall Event within a Mei-Yu Season Mesoscale Convective System:Importance of Back-Building Processes

An extreme rainfall event occurred over Hangzhou,China,during the afternoon hours on 24 June *** event occurred under suitable synoptic conditions and the maximum 4-h cumulative rainfall amount was over 150 *** rainfall event had two major *** was caused by a quasi-stationary convective line,and the other by a backbuilding convective line related to the interaction of the outflow boundary from the first rainband and an existing low-level mesoscale convergence line associated with a mei-yu frontal *** rainfall event lasted 4 h,while the back-building process occurred in 2 h when the extreme rainfall center *** far,few studies have examined the back-building processes in the mei-yu season that are caused by the interaction of a mesoscale convergence line and a convective cold *** two rainbands are successfully reproduced by the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF)model with fourlevel,two-way interactive *** the model,new cells repeatedly occur at the west side of older cells,and the backbuilding process occurs in an environment with large CAPE,a low LFC,and plenty of water *** from older cells enhance the low-level convergence that forces new *** precipitation efficiency of the back-building training cells leads to accumulated precipitation of over 150 *** experiments without evaporation of rainwater show that the convective cold pool plays an important role in the organization of the back-building process in the current extreme precipitation case.

A mesoscale convective system (MCS) occurred over the East China coastal provinces and the East China Sea on 30 April 2021, producing damaging surface winds near the coastal city Nantong with observed speeds reaching 45 m s-1. A simulation using the Weather Research and Forecasting model with a 1.5-km grid spacing generally reproduces the development and subsequent organization of this convective system into an MCS, with an eastward protruding bow segment over the sea. In the simulation, an east-west-oriented high wind swath is generated behind the gust front of the MCS. Descending dry rear-to-front inflows behind the bow and trailing gust front are found to feed the downdrafts in the main precipitation regions. The inflows help to establish spreading cold outflows and enhance the downdrafts through evaporative cooling. Meanwhile, front-to-rear inflows from the south are present, associated with severely rearward-tilted updrafts initially forming over the gust front. Such inflows descend behind (north of) the gust front, significantly enhancing downdrafts and near-surface winds within the cold pool. Consistently, calculated trajectories show that these parcels that contribute to the derecho originate primarily from the region ahead (south) of the east-west-oriented gust front, and dry southwesterly flows in the low-to-middle levels contribute to strong downdrafts within the MCS. Moreover, momentum budget analyses reveal that a large westward-directed horizontal pressure gradient force within the simulated cold pool produced rapid flow acceleration towards Nantong. The analyses enrich the understanding of damaging wind characteristics over coastal East China and will prove helpful to operational forecasters.

Palmitic acid reduces the methylation of the FOXO1 promoter to suppress the development of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma via modulating the miR-429/DNMT3A axis

Integrating machine learning and CALPHAD method for exploring low-modulus near-β-Ti alloys

Traditional theoretical and empirical calculation methods can guide the design of β-and metastable β-alloys for bio-titanium. However, it is still difficult to obtain novel near-β-Ti alloys with low modulus. This study developed a method that combines machine learning with calculation of phase diagrams(CALPHAD) to facilitate the design of near-β-Ti alloys. An elastic modulus database of Ti–Nb–Zr–Mo–Ta–Sn system was constructed first, and then three features(the electron to atom ratio, mean absolute deviation of atom mass, and mean electronegativity) were selected as the key factors of modulus by performing a three-step feature selection. With these features, a highly accurate model was built for predicting the modulus of near-β-Ti alloys. To further ensure the accuracy of modulus prediction, machine learning with the elastic constants calculated was leveraged by CALPHAD database. The root mean square error of the well-trained model can be as low as 6.75 GPa. Guided by the prediction of machine learning and CALPHAD, three novel near-β-Ti alloys with elastic modulus below 50 GPa were successfully designed in this study. The best candidate alloy(Ti–26Nb–4Zr–4Sn–1Mo–Ta) exhibits an ultra-low modulus(36.6 GPa) after cold rolling with a thickness reduction of 20%. Our method can greatly save time and resources in the development of novel Ti alloys, and experimental verifications have demonstrated the reliability of this method.
