BACKGROUND The FreeStyle libre flash glucose monitoring(FGM)system entered the Chinese market in 2017 to complement the self-monitoring of blood *** to its increased usage in clinics,the number of studies investigating its accuracy has ***,its accuracy has not been investigated in highland populations in *** To evaluate measurements recorded using the FreeStyle libre FGM system compared with capillary blood glucose measured using the enzyme electrode method in patients with type 2 diabetes(T2D)who had migrated within 3 mo from highlands to *** Overall,68 patients with T2D,selected from those who had recently migrated from highlands to plains(within 3 mo),were hospitalized at the Department of Endocrinology from August to October 2017 and underwent continuous glucose monitoring(CGM)with the FreeStyle libre FGM system for 14 *** the study period,fingertip capillary blood glucose was measured daily using the enzyme electrode method(Super GL,China),and blood glucose levels were read from the scanning probe during fasting and 2 h after all three ***,the time interval between reading the data from the scanning probe and collecting fingertip capillary blood was controlled tolinear regression *** Pearson’s correlation analysis showed that the fingertip and scanned glucose levels were positively correlated(R=0.86,P=0.00).The aggregated MARD of scanned glucose was 14.28±13.40%.Parker's error analysis showed that 99.30%of the data pairs were located in areas A and *** to the probe wear time of the FreeStyle libre FGM system,MARD_(1 d) and MARD_(2-14 d) were 16.55%and 14.35%,respectively(t=1.23,P=0.22).Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that MARD did not correlate with blood glucose when

Thermal Characterization and Decomposition Kinetics of Free Anthraquinones from Rhubarb

The thermal behaviour of aloe-emodin, chrysophanol and physcion and their kinetics have been investigated under non-isothermal conditions by means of differential thermal analysis （DTA） and thermogravimetry （TG）. The thermal characteristics have been determined using the DTA and TG-DTG curves. The non-isothermal kinetic data were analyzed by means of the Achar method and the Madhusudanan-Krishnan-Ninan （MKN） method. The possible reaction mechanisms have been investigated by comparing the kinetic parameters. The kinetic equation for aloe-emodin, chrysophanol and physcion can be expressed as dα/dt=Aexp（-E/RT）1/3（1-α）[-In（1-α]2. The activation energy E （kJ mol^-1） of the three free anthraquinones are 78.09, 89.54, and 107.5 and their InA/s^-1 are 22.98, 36.85 and 43.60, respectively.

Some Properties of β-wordlength Pattern for Four-level Designs

Fractional factorial designs have played a prominent role in the theory and practice of experimental design. For designs with qualitative factors under an ANOVA model, the minimum aber-ration criterion has been frequently used; however, for designs with quantitative factors, a polynomial regression model is often established, thus the β-wordlength pattern can be employed to compare different fractional factorial designs. Although the β-wordlength pattern was introduced in 2004, its properties have not been investigated extensively. In this paper, we will present some properties of β-wordlength pattern for four-level designs. These properties can help find better designs with quan- titative factors.

The Number of Positive Pelvic Lymph Nodes and Multiple Groups of Pelvic Lymph Node Metastasis Influence Prognosis in Stage ⅠA-ⅡB Cervical Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Numerical quadrature schemes of a non-conforming finite element method for general second order elliptic problems in two dimensional （2-D） and three dimensional （3-D） space are discussed in this paper. We present and analyze some optimal numerical quadrature schemes. One of the schemes contains only three sampling points, which greatly improves the efficiency of numerical computations. The optimal error estimates are derived by using some traditional approaches and techniques. Lastly, some numerical results are provided to verify our theoretical analysis.

Experimental investigation of an adjustable ejector for CO_2 heat pump water heaters

An adjustable ejector expansion device for a CO2 heat pump water heater (HPWP) is proposed to improve the system performance. It has been designed to investigate experimentally the effects of the motive nozzle throat area of the ejector, entrained flow pressure, back pressure and primary flow pressure on the entrainment ratio. Experiments based on different motive nozzle throat areas were conducted and the results of the prototype ejector using CO2 as working fluid are presented. The results show that an adjustable ejector can achieve high performance and work well in a wide range of working conditions.

Stroke-like Migraine Attacks after Radiation Therapy Syndrome

Objective：To summarize the clinical presentation,pathogenesis,neuroimaging,treatment,and outcome of stroke-like migraine attacks after radiation therapy （SMART） syndrome,and to propose diagnostic criteria for this *** Sources：We searched the PubMed database for articles in English published from 1995 to 2015 using the terms of ＂stroke-like AND migraine AND radiation.＂ Reference lists of the identified articles and reviews were used to retrieve additional *** Selection：Data and articles related to late-onset effects of cerebral radiation were selected and ***：SMART is a rare condition that involves complex migraines with focal neurologic deficits following cranial irradiation for central nervous system *** recovery,which ranges from hours to days to weeks,can be partial or *** propose the following diagnostic criteria for SMART：（1） Remote history of therapeutic external beam cranial irradiation for malignancy;（2） prolonged,reversible clinical manifestations mostly years after irradiation,which may include migraine,seizures,hemiparesis,hemisensory deficits,visuospatial defect,aphasia,confusion and so on;（3） reversible,transient,unilateral cortical gadolinium enhancement correlative abnormal T2 and fluid-attenuated inversion recovery signal of the affected cerebral region;（4） eventual complete or partial recovery,the length of duration of recovery ranging from hours to days to weeks;（5） no evidence of residual or recurrent tumor;（6） not attributable to another *** date,no specific treatment has been identified for this ***：SMART is an extremely rare delayed complication of brain ***,improvements in cancer survival rates have resulted in a rise in its ***,awareness and recognition of the syndrome is important to make a rapid diagnosis and avoid aggressive interventions such as brain biopsy and cerebral angiography.

Modifying Lyapunov exponent of chaotic map by self-cascading

The self-cascade(SC) method is an effective technique for chaos enhancement and complexity increasing in chaos ***, the controllable self-cascade(CSC) method allows for more accurate control of Lyapunov exponents of the discrete map. In this work, the SC and CSC systems of the original map are derived, which enhance the chaotic performance while preserving the fundamental dynamical characteristics of the original map. Higher Lyapunov exponent of chaotic sequences corresponding to higher frequency are obtained in SC and CSC systems. Meanwhile, the Lyapunov exponent could be linearly controlled with greater flexibility in the CSC system. The verification of the numerical simulation and theoretical analysis is carried out based on the platform of CH32.

Scattering of a single photon in a one-dimensional coupled resonator waveguide with a Λ-type emitter assisted by an additional cavity

We analyze the transport property of a single photon in a one-dimensional coupled resonator waveguide coupled with a Λ-type emitter assisted by an additional cavity. The reflection and transmission coefficients of the inserted photon are obtained by the stationary theory. It is shown that the polarization state of the inserted photon can be converted with high efficiency. This study may inspire single-photon devices for scalable quantum memory.
