Chronic pain often develops severe mood changes such as ***,how chronic pain leads to depression remains elusive and the mechanisms determining individuals’responses to depression are largely *** we found that depression-like behaviors could only be observed in 67.9%of mice with chronic neuropathic pain,leaving 32.1%of mice with depression *** determined that the spike discharges of the ventral tegmental area(VTA)-projecting lateral habenula(LHb)glutamatergic(Glu)neurons were sequentially increased in sham,resilient and susceptible mice,which consequently inhibited VTA dopaminergic(DA)neurons through a LHbGlu-VTAGABA-VTADA ***,the LHbGlu-VTADA excitatory inputs were dampened via GABAB receptors in a pre-synaptic *** of LHb-VTA pathway largely affected the development of depressive symptoms caused by chronic *** study thus identifies a pivotal role of the LHb-VTA pathway in coupling chronic pain with depression and highlights the activity-dependent contribution of LHbGlu-to-VTADA inhibition in depressive behavioral regulation.

Magnetoelectroelastic fields in rotating multiferroic composite cylindrical structures

An analytical solution is obtained for a rotating multiferroic composite hollow cylinder made of radially polarized piezoelectric and piezomagnetic materials. Both the number of layers and the stacking sequence of the composite cylinder can be arbitrary. General mechanical, electric and magnetic boundary conditions can be applied at both the inner and outer cylindrical surfaces. The state space method is employed so that only a 2×2 matrix is involved in the whole solving procedure. In the nu-merical experiments, the distributions of elastic, electric as well as magnetic fields in an internally pressurized rotating BaTiO3/CoFe2O4 composite hollow cylinder subjected to different boundary conditions are presented graphically. The results clearly show that the stress fields in a multiferroic composite cylinder are controllable.

DDoS detection based on wavelet kernel support vector machine

To enhance the detection accuracy and deduce false positive rate of distributed denial of service （DDoS） attack detection, a new machine learning method was proposed. With the analysis of support vector machine （SVM） and the wavelet kernel function theory, an admissive support vector kernel, which is a wavelet kernel constructed in this article, implements the combination of the wavelet technique with SVM. Then, wavelet support vector machine （WSVM） is applied to DDoS attack detections and as a classifying means to test the validity of the wavelet kernel function. Simulation experiments show that under the same conditions, the predictive ability of WSVM is improved and the computation burden is alleviated. The detection accuracy of WSVM is higher than the traditional SVM by about 4%, while its false positive is lower than the traditional SVM. Thus, for DDoS detections, WSVM shows better detection performance and is more adaptive to the changing network environment.

A novel heterogeneous oscillator, the Cu2+-catalyzed oscillatory oxidation of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) in aqueous solution by O-2 flow was reported. Both the potential oscillations on Pt-electrode corresponding to [Cu2+] and the absorbance oscillations at lambda =260 nm corresponding to [ascorbic acid] were observed. Oscillations in the completely homogeneous system were also observed. Effects of several factors on the oscillations were investigated.

人工肌肉是指具有类似肌肉特性的材料,这些材料在外界激励下,可以实现大变形,且响应速度快。本文总结两类人工肌肉本构模型的研究成果:一类是介电高弹体,另一类是响应性凝胶。本文中提到的本构模型仅限于用自由能函数导出的情形。对于介电高弹体材料,分别综述超弹性模型和粘性超弹性模型。在超弹性模型中,列出目前研究中使用较多的一些本构模型的自由能函数具体表达式;比较neoHookean、Gent、Arruda-Boyce和Ogden四种模型在单轴拉伸和等双轴拉伸两种情形下的名义应力-伸长曲线;给出了考虑一些重要因素的研究模型,这些因素包括材料可压缩性、取向极化、变介电常数、热耦合、受纤维约束、流体耦合以及空气耦合等。对于响应性凝胶,分别综述水凝胶、pH敏感性凝胶、温度敏感性凝胶、聚电解质凝胶以及反应性凝胶等的本构模型。这些精确、可靠和有效的本构模型,将有助于开展人工肌肉系统的性能分析和预测,甚至揭示其内在特性和本质规律。

Hydrogenation of Cinnamaldehyde to Cinnamyl Alcohol over An Ultrafine Co-B Amorphous Catalyst

A novel Co-B amorphous alloy catalyst in the form of ultrafine particles was prepared by chemical reduction of CoCl2 with aqueous NaBH4, which exhibited excellent activity and selectivity during the hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde to cinnamyl alcohol in liquid phase. The optimum yield of cinnamyl alcohol was 87.6%, much better than the yield of using Raney Ni, Raney Co and other Co-based catalysts.

BACKGROUND Myxofibrosarcoma(MFS)is a fibroblast-derived sarcoma that mainly occurs in subcutaneous *** rarely occurs in the gastrointestinal tract,especially in the *** SUMMARY A 79-year-old male patient was admitted to our hospital for dysphagia for a *** tomography and electronic gastroscopy showed that a giant mass was located 30 cm from the incisor and extended to the *** was incomplete esophageal *** pathology showed spindle cell lesions,which were considered inflammatory myofibroblast like *** the strong demands of the patient and his family,and the fact that most inflammatory myofibroblast tumors are benign,we decided to perform endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)even if the tumor size was giant(9.0 cm×3.0 cm).Postoperative pathological examination resulted in a final diagnosis of *** rarely occurs in the gastrointestinal tract,especially in the *** resection and local adjuvant radiotherapy are the first choices to improve the *** case report firstly described the ESD for esophageal giant *** suggests that ESD may be an alternative treatment for primary esophageal *** This case report for the first time describe the successful treatment of a giant esophageal MFS by ESD,suggesting that ESD may be an alternative treatment for primary esophageal MFS,especially in elderly high-risk patients with obvious dysphagia symptoms.

Variable fuzzy assessment of water use efficiency and benefits in irrigation district

In order to scientifically and reasonably evaluate water use efficiency and benefits in irrigation districts, a variable fuzzy assessment model was established. The model can reasonably determine the relative membership degree and relative membership function of the sample indices in each index’s standard interval, and obtain the evaluation level of the sample through the change of model parameters. According to the actual situation of the Beitun Irrigation District, which is located in Fuhai County, in Altay City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, five indices were selected as evaluation factors, including the canal water utilization coefficient, field water utilization coefficient, crop water productivity,effective irrigation rate in farmland, and water-saving irrigation area ratio. The water use efficiency and benefits in the Beitun Irrigation District in different years were evaluated with the model. The results showed that the comprehensive evaluation indices from 2006 to 2008 were all at the third level(medium efficiency), while the index in 2009 increased slightly, falling between the second level(relatively high efficiency) and third level, indicating an improvement in the water use efficiency and benefits in the Beitun Irrigation District, which in turn showed that the model was reliable and easy to use. This model can be used to assess the water use efficiency and benefits in similar irrigation districts.

Buckling Properties of Water-Drop-Shaped Pressure Hulls with Various Shape Indices Under Hydrostatic External Pressure

The water-drop-shaped pressure hull has a good streamline,which has good application prospect in the underwater ***,this study conducted analytical,experimental and numerical investigation of the buckling properties of water-drop-shaped pressure hulls under hydrostatic pressure.A water-drop experiment was conducted to design water-drop-shaped pressure hulls with various shape *** critical loads for the water-drop-shaped pressure hulls were resolved by using Mushtari’s *** numerical simulations including linear buckling analysis and nonlinear buckling analysis including eigenmode imperfections were *** results indicated that the critical loads resolved by Mushtari's formula were in good agreement with the linear buckling loads from the numerical *** formula can be extended to estimate the buckling capacity of water-drop-shaped pressure *** addition,three groups of pressure hulls were fabricated by using stereolithography,a rapid prototyping ***,three groups of the pressure hulls were subjected to ultrasonic measurements,optical scanning,hydrostatic testing and numerical *** experimental results were consistent with the numerical *** results indicate that the sharp end of the water-drop-shaped pressure hulls exhibited instability compared with the blunt *** paper provides a new solution to the limitations of experimental studies on the water-drop-shaped pressure hulls as well as a new configuration and evaluation method for underwater observatories.
