Dear Editor,This letter deals with a new second-level-discretization method with higher precision than the traditional first-level-discretization ***,the traditional discretization method utilizes the first-order time derivative information,and it is termed first-level-discretization *** contrast,the new discretization method not only utilizes the first-order time derivative information,but also makes use of the second-order derivative *** combining the new second-level-discretization method with zeroing neural network(ZNN),the second-level-discrete ZNN(SLDZNN)model is proposed to solve dynamic(i.e.,time-variant or time-dependent)linear *** experiments and application to angle-of-arrival(AoA)localization show the effectiveness and superiority of the SLDZNN model.

BACKGROUND The prevalence of sarcopenia in patients undergoing liver transplantation(LT)remains to be determined partly because of different diagnostic *** has recently been recognized as a new prognostic factor for predicting outcomes in LT *** To estimate the prevalence of sarcopenia and evaluate its clinical effect on LT *** This systematic search was conducted in PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,and Cochrane Library for original English-language articles that investigated the prevalence and influence of sarcopenia in patients undergoing LT from database inception to November 30,*** studies of the definition of sarcopenia that estimate sarcopenia prevalence and evaluate its effect on clinical outcomes and the risk of mortality were *** Twenty-five studies involving 7760 patients undergoing LT were *** pooled prevalence of sarcopenia in patients undergoing LT was 40.7%[95%confidence intervals(95%CI):32.1-49.6].The 1-,3-,and 5-year cumulative probab-ilities of post-LT survival in patients with preoperative sarcopenia were all lower than those without sarcopenia(P<0.05).Sarcopenia was associated with an increased risk of post-LT mortality in patients undergoing LT(adjusted hazard ratio:1.58;95%CI:1.21-2.07).Patients with preoperative sarcopenia had a longer intensive care unit stay,a high risk ratio of sepsis,and serious post-LT complications than those without *** Sarcopenia is prevalent in a substantial proportion of patients undergoing LT and is strongly and independently associated with higher a risk of mortality risk.

一致性约束的半监督多视图分类

由于传统半监督模式下的多视图算法很少考虑到不同视图中数据包含信息的差异性,且忽视了不同视图间存在着空间结构的一致性,算法在含有噪声和异常点的多视图数据中性能较差。尽管有研究者已经提出了半监督多视图方法,但这些方法没有充分利用样本判别信息以及不同度量学习下的子空间结构信息,从而导致分类结果不理想。针对以上问题,提出了一致性约束的半监督多视图分类算法(SMCC)。首先,基于希尔伯特-施密特独立性准则(HSIC)加强对不同视图之间的一致性约束。然后,通过保留原始数据的空间局部流形结构进行特征投影来降低数据空间维度,并结合F范数约束提高算法的鲁棒性。进一步,对不同视图自适应地赋予相应的权重,降低在不同视图中数据含有不同特征信息与噪声污染的影响。最后,基于线性交替方向乘子法与特征分解方法对模型进行求解。在四个基准数据集上的实验结果表明,提出的算法能够捕获多视图数据中更多的有效判别信息,准确性得到了提高。

Characterization and wear behavior of WC-0.8Co coating on cast steel rolls by electro-spark deposition

To prepare high wear resistance and high hardness coatings, electro-spark deposition was adopted for depositing an electrode of a mixture of 92wt%WC＋8wt%Co on a cast steel roll substrate. The coating was characterized by classical X-ray diffractometer （XRD） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM） with energy dispersive X-ray analysis （EDX）. The results indicate that the coating shows nanosized particulate structure and dendritic structure including columnar structure and equiaxed structure. The primary phases of the coating contain Fe3W3C, Co3W3C, Fe2C and Si2W. The coating has a low friction coefficient of 0.13, its average wear-resistance is 3.3 times that of the cast steel roll substrate and the main mechanism is abrasive wear. The maximum microhardness value of the coating is about 1573.9 Hv0.3. The study reveals that the electro-spark deposition process has the characteristic of better coating quality and the coating has higher wear resistance and hardness.

In this study, novel molecularly imprinted open porous membranes（MIOPMs） were prepared using the Pickering HIPEs template method and molecular imprinting technology for selective adsorption and separation of methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate（M4HB）. The template M4 HB, functional monomers,crosslinker and plastifier 2-ethylhexyl acrylate（2-EHA） were contained in the oil phase. Hydrophobic silica nanoparticles（HNP-SiO2） were employed as a stabilizer to establish stable W/O Pickering HIPEs with nonionic surfactant sorbitantrioleate（Span 85）. The results of SEM and FTIR indicated that the optimal MIOPMs were prepared successfully and possessed open and interconnecting pores. Then, the MIOPMs were used as sorbents for M4 HB. The correlation coefficient（R^2） values for the Langmuir–Freundlich isotherm model and pseudo-second-order kinetic model fitting to the adsorption equilibrium and kinetic data respectively were all higher than 0.95. The maximum adsorption capacity and the time of rapid adsorption for MIOPM4 were 4.146 mg g^-1 and 100 min, respectively. In addition, the permeability separation factor of MIOPMs for M4 HB compared to a structurally related analog methyl2-hydroxybenzoate（M2HB） could reach 3.122.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is one of the most common chronic liver diseases worldwide. Gut microbiota and its metabolites alteration are closely related to NAFLD. Nootkatone is an edible flavorants derived from grapefruit which has a variety of biological activities. However， the precise mechanisms of nootkatone on NAFLD remains to be defined. Our results showed that nootkatone prevented body weight gain and decreased serum lipid level， hepatic lipogenesis， hepatic proinflammatory cytokines secretion in NAFLD mice. Also， nootkatone attenuated inflammatory response via inhibiting TLR4/NF-κB/NLRP3 pathway. Moreover， nootkatone restored intestinal barrier damage through increasing tight junction proteins and SCFAs contents. Further 16S rRNA sequencing of colonic content suggested that nootkatone recovered the disturbed gut microbiota to improve NAFLD. Spearman correlation analysis between gut microbiota and NAFLD related parameters indicated that nootkatone regulated lipid metabolism and immunity via altering the gut microbiota. In conclusion， these findings revealed that nootkatone alleviated hepatic lipid homeostasis and inflammatory response in NAFLD mice， which associated with intestinal barrier integrity and the regulation of gut microbiota. This study provides new perspectives that nootkatone has efficacy on NAFLD via “gut-liver axis”， and nootkatone is expected to be developed as a functional food additive.
