Performance evaluation of the use of tire-derived fuel fly ash as mineral filler in hot mix asphalt concrete

According to deplete natural resources and need to protect the environment,the demand of a usage of waste material has significantly *** studies are currently being carried out on the development of innovative and environmentally friendly materials for securing the safety of road users and improving the performance and durability of *** example,studies are currently being conducted on the use of waste tires as a substitute for currently used *** the development of the automobile industry,the amount of waste tire has continuously increased in accordance with the increased vehicle ***-derived fuel(TDF)has been used as a fuel source with generated TDF fly *** filler,made of fine mineral particles of a physical size passing the number 200 standard mesh sieve(75 micron),plays an important role in asphalt mixtures *** paper presents an application of TDF fly ash as filler in hot mix asphalt(HMA).In this study,the performance of TDF fly ash was confirmed through a comparison with three other mineral fillers:stone dust,cement,and hydrated *** tests including Marshall stability test,moisture sensitivity test,dynamic immersion test,and a wheel tracking test were performed to investigate the difference in the behaviors of the samples with different parameters considered in this *** results show that the mechanical performance of hot mix asphalt using TDF fly ash satisfied the quality standard specification of the ministry of Land,Infrastructure and Transport(MOLIT),*** can be concluded that the use of TDF fly ash as a mineral filler in HMA not only satisfied the mechanical properties,but also reduced the volume of the pollutants waste in the environment.

Herein, the de novo synthesis of atropisomeric benzofurans through the Cu/spirocyclic-pyrrolidine-oxazoline(SPDO) complex catalyze asymmetric formal [3 + 2] cycloaddition between quinones and ynamides is explored, producing a range of structurally diverse axially chiral benzofurans in satisfactory yields with good to excellent enantioselectivities. Furthermore, density functional theory calculations were applied to explain the possible reaction mechanism.

Systematic Acupuncture Explains Acupuncture at Baihui(GV20) and Fengchi(GB20) Targeting the Inflammatory Response to Regulate Migraine

Objective: To take Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20) targeting inflammatory response to regulate migraine as an example to describe a new method for studying the mechanism of stimulating ***: The target information of Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20) was retrieved， and after intersection with migraine， Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG)， Reactome， and UniProt Keywords were used for functional enrichment. After selecting the main pathway， rats were selected and nitroglycerin was used for modeling， and the behavioral scores， inflammatory factors， heme oxygenase 1 (HMOX1)， protein kinase B (AKT1)， signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3)， phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 (P-ERK1/ERK2) and other states of the rats in the acupuncture， twisting， and electroacupuncture groups were ***: A total of 135 Baihui (GV20) targets and 27 Fengchi (GB20) targets were collected. A total of 73 target information were obtained after the intersection of these targets in migraine. These 73 targets have three main pathways: hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1) signaling pathway， signaling by interleukins and inflammatory response. The main targets in the pathway were verified and found that interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β)， interleukin-6 (IL-6)， tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and HMOX1， AKT1， STAT3， P-ERK1/ERK2 can be regulated by Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20).Conclusion: Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20) can regulate migraine by regulating inflammatory factors and HMOX1， AKT1， STAT3， P-ERK1/ERK2 and other changes in HIF-1 signaling pathway， Signaling by Interleukins and Inflammatory response pathways. Based on systems biology and network pharmacology， and with the model of "acupoint-target-disease"， explore the research methods of systematic acupuncture and moxibustion. We believe this is a usable research direction for exploring the mechanism of acupuncture stimulation.

Aggregation-induced emission luminogens for organic light-emitting diodes with a single-component emitting layer

Organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs)have garnered increasing attention as a promising candidate for application in next-generation displays and solid-state lighting *** doping technique commonly used to fabricate light-emitting layers(EMLs)of OLEDs disperses the emitting material in a host matrix to mitigate aggregation-induced quenching(ACQ).Alternatively,owing to their high efficiency and ease of manufacture,nondoped OLEDs have been developed as a substitute for doped *** fabricating nondoped OLEDs,it is essential to suppress the ACQ effect in the EML and efficiently utilize the generated excitons for radiative *** the discovery of aggregation-induced emission(AIE)by Tang et al.,significant work has been done to improve the stability and efficiency of nondoped OLEDs based on fluorescent AIE luminogens(AIEgens).Fluorescent AIEgens,synthesized using various molecular frameworks,such as silole,tetra/triphenylethylene,tetraphenylpyrazine,and tetraphenylbenzene,exhibit high photoluminescence quantum yields in the solid ***,many studies have reported that fluorescent AIEgen-based OLEDs have excellent external quantum efficiency and exhibit emission at various wavelengths,including deep-blue/blue/green *** the development of fluorescent AIEgens,delayed fluorescent AIEgens with efficient triplet utilization through reverse intersystem crossing and AIE properties have been adopted as ideal emitters and used in nondoped *** review systematically discusses and summarizes recent reports on the development of AIEgens for nondoped OLEDs by grouping them into fluorescent and delayed fluorescent *** purpose of this review is to provide deep insights into the design of novel AIEgens for high-performance nondoped OLEDs.

Two climate factors in May that affect Korean rainfall in September

This study revealed a high positive correlation between rainfall in Korea during September and the trade wind （TW）/Arctic Oscillation （AO） index in May that combines two climate factors, low-level TWs and the AO. This correlation was identified on the basis of the difference in the 850 hPa streamline analysis between the positive and negative phases selected using the combined TW/AO index. In May, the spatial pattern of the anomalous pressure systems is similar to that in the positive AO phase. These anomalous pressure sys- tems continue in june to August （JJA） and September, but the overall spatial distribution shifts a little to the south. Particularly in September, a huge anomalous anticyclone centered over the southeast seas of Japan strengthens in most of the western north Pacific region and supplies a large volume of warm and humid air to the region near Korea. This characteristic is confirmed by the facts that during the positive TW/AO phase, the subtropical western north Pacific high （SWNPH） is more developed to the north and that the continu- ous positioning of the upper troposphere jet over Korea from May to September strengthens the anomalous upward flow, bringing warm and humid air to all layers. These factors contribute to increasing September rainfall in Korea during the positive TW/AO phase. Because the SWNPH develops more to the north in the positive phase, tropical cyclones tend to make landfall in Korea frequently, which also plays a positive role in increasing September rainfall in *** above features are also reflected by the differences in average rainfall between the six years that had the highest May Nifio 3.4 indices （El Niflo phase） and the six years that had the lowest May Niflo 3.4 indices （La Nifia phase）.

Effect of Radiant Spectral Characteristics on Performance of a Near-Infra-Red Heating Module

We simulated the heat transfer phenomena of the heating module that is primarily based on the radiant energy in the near-infra-red(NIR) *** the module,the power emitted by the lamp filament is distributed to the lamp glass,reflector,and the target medium,which are cooled by an air *** radiant heat transfer is simulated by using the ray-tracing scheme,in which the spectral characteristics of the emission and the materials are *** heat transport from the lamp glass to the cooling air is analyzed by using the finite volume *** the lamp-filament temperature rises in the range of 3000-3400K,the NIR radiant power on the target medium ***,the lamp-glass temperature also rises,and the proportion of the NIR power to the entire radiation has a peak in the temperature *** spectral distributions of the absorbed energies in all the components in the module are highly non-uniform,and a monochromatic model of the radiant heat transfer may result in a significant discrepancy.

Parallel Cloth Simulation Using OpenGL Shading Language

The primary goal of cloth simulation is to express object behavior in a realistic manner and achieve real-time performance by following the fundamental concept of *** general,the mass–spring system is applied to real-time cloth simulation with three types of ***,hard spring cloth simulation using the mass–spring system requires a small integration time-step in order to use a large stiffness ***,to obtain stable behavior,constraint enforcement is used instead of maintenance of the force of each *** force computation involves a large sparse linear solving *** to the large computation,we implement a cloth simulation using adaptive constraint activation and deactivation techniques that involve the mass-spring system and constraint enforcement method to prevent excessive elongation of *** the same time,when the length of the spring is stretched or compressed over a defined threshold,adaptive constraint activation and deactivation method deactivates the spring and generate the implicit *** method that uses a serial process of the Central Processing Unit(CPU)to solve the system in every frame cannot handle the complex structure of cloth model in *** simulation utilizes the Graphic Processing Unit(GPU)parallel processing with compute shader in OpenGL Shading Language(GLSL)to solve the system *** this paper,we design and implement parallel method for cloth simulation,and experiment on the performance and behavior comparison of the mass-spring system,constraint enforcement,and adaptive constraint activation and deactivation techniques the using GPU-based parallel method.
