The challenge of effectively eliminating air during gastrointestinal endoscopy using ultrasound techniques is *** difficulty arises from the intricacies of removing concealed air within the folds of the gastrointestinal tract,resulting in artifacts and compromised *** addition,the overlap of folds with lesions can obscure their depth and size,presenting challenges for an accurate ***,in intricately folded regions of the gastrointestinal tract,such as the stomach,intestine,and colon,insufficient delivery of air or CO_(2) into the cavity impedes luminal expansion,hindering the accurate visualization of lesions concealed within the *** this underscores the requirement for substantial airflow,excessive airflow can hinder visualization of bleeding lesions and other *** these challenges,an ideal endoscopic device would facilitate the observation of lesions without the requirement for air or CO_(2) delivery whereas,ensuring optimal expansion of the gastrointestinal ***,transparent gels with specific viscosities have been employed more frequently to address this *** review aims to elucidate how these gels address these challenges and provide a solution for enhanced endoscopic visualization.

In this paper, we discuss about the near range radar applied to various environmental applications and disaster mitigation issues. Synthetic aperture radar（SAR） processing or migration is the key technology in near range radar imaging, which can be used in ground penetrating radar（GPR） and ground-based synthetic aperture radar（GB-SAR）. We demonstrate some applications which include GPR for humanitarian demining, GPR for archaeological survey, GB-SAR for landslide monitoring and nondestructive inspection of wooden buildings. We also demonstrate a new array GPR system “Yakumo”, which was used for archaeological survey for demonstration of advanced multi-static radar signal processing for better radar imaging.

We study specific changes in repetitive firing in the two-dimensional Hindmarsh-Rose （2dHR） oscillatory sys- tem that undergoes a bifurcation transition from the supercritical Andronov-Hopf （All） type to the subcritical Andronov-Hopf （SAH） type. We identify dynamical mechanisms which are responsible for changes of the repeti- tive firing rate during the AH to SAH bifurcation transitions. These include frequency-shift functions in response to small perturbations of a timescale parameter, its multiplicative parameter, and an external input current in the 2dHR oscillatory system. The frequency-shift functions are explicitly represented as functions relating to the phase response curves （PRCs）. Then, we demonstrate that when the timescale is normal and relatively fast, the repetitive firing rate slightly increases and decreases respectively during the AH to SAH bifurcation transition with a change of the intrinsic parameter, whereas it decreases during the SAH to AH bifurcation transition with an increase in the timescale. By analyzing the three different frequency-shift functions, we show that such changes of the repetitive firing rate depend largely on changes of the PRC size. The PRC size for the SAH bifurcation shrinks to the PRC size for the AH bifurcation.

Zinc oxide, which has photocatalytic activity, is used as white pigment for cosmetics. A certain degree of sebum on the skin is decomposed by ultraviolet radiation in sunlight. In this work, zinc oxide was shaken with phosphoric acid to synthesize a white pigment for cosmetics. Zinc oxide was set with 0.1 mol/L of phosphoric acid at P/Zn = 1/1 and 1/2, and then shaking in hot water for 1 h. The chemical composition, powder properties, photocatalytic activity, color phase, and smoothness of the obtained powder were studied. The P/Zn ratio in preparation had an effect on the reaction between phosphoric acid and zinc oxide. The photocatalytic activity of zinc oxide was inhibited by phosphoric acid treatment. The obtained samples had enough high reflectance at the visible light region.
