This report reviews the most important episodes in the history of designing the self-propelled automatic chassis of the first mobile extraterrestrial vehicle in the world, Lunokhod-1. The review considers the issues in designing moon rovers, their essential features, and the particular construction properties of their systems, mechanisms, units, and assemblies. It presents the results of exploiting the chassis of Lunokhod-1 and Lunokhod-2. Analysis of the approaches utilized and engineering solutions reveals their value as well as the consequences of certain defects.

The study deals with adsorption of Naphthol Green B on two unburned carbons and the parent coal,from which the UCs have been created in a fluidised-bed power *** attention has been paid to the adsorption equilibrium modelling:experimental data has been analysed using 2-parameter(Langmuir,Freundlich) and3-parameter(Redlich-Peterson) isotherms — both linear and non-linear regressions have been used for the estimation of the isotherm *** the case of both UCs,the Langmuir isotherm model provides the worst fit,whereas 2-parameter Freundlich and 3-parameter Redlich-Peterson models are both good,from which 3-parameter Redlich-Peterson isotherm provides slightly better results(despite the penalty used for the higher number of parameters).In the case of both UCs,the linear regression of Freundlich and Redlich-Peterson models provides good results(comparable with non-linear regressions).Unlike both UCs,the best fit of the experimental data from the adsorption on the coal has been achieved by the Langmuir isotherm *** results based on the Freundlich or Redlich-Peterson model were(in this case) somewhat worse.

We have successfully generated a 1.3/1.4μm random fiber laser(RFL)using bismuth(Bi)-doped phosphosilicate *** Bi-doped RFL has shown excellent long-term operational stability with a standard deviation of approximately 0.34%over 1 h at a maximum output power of 549.30 mW,with a slope efficiency of approximately 29.21%.The Bi-doped phosphosilicate fiber offers an emission spectrum ranging from 1.28 to 1.57μm,indicating that it can be tuned within this ***,we demonstrated a wavelength-tuning fiber laser with a wavelength of 1.3/1.4μm,achieved through the using of a fiber Bragg grating or a tunable *** to traditional laser sources,the RFL reduces the speckle contrast of images by 11.16%.Due to its high stability,compact size,and high efficiency,this RFL is highly promising for use in biomedical imaging,communication,and sensor applications.

A pre-processing procedure is designed for a space-surface bistatic synthetic aperture radar （SS-BSAR） system when a time domain image formation algorithm is employed. Three crucial technical issues relating to the procedure are fully discussed. Firstly, unlike image formation algorithms operating in the frequency domain, a time domain algorithm requires the accurate global navigation satellite system （GNSS） time and position. This paper proposes acquisition of this information using a time-and-spatial transfer with precise ephemeris and interpolation. Secondly, synchronization errors and compensation methods in SS-BSAR are analyzed. Finally, taking the non-ideal factors in the echo and the compatibility of image formation algorithms into account, a matched filter based on the minimum delay is constructed. Experimental result using real data suggest the pre-processing is functioning properly.

For the emerging peer-to-peer(P2P)lending markets to survive,they need to employ credit-risk management practices such that an investor base is profitable in the long ***,credit-risk management relies on credit scoring that predicts loans’probability of *** this paper,we use a profit scoring approach that is based on modeling the annualized adjusted internal rate of returns of *** validate our profit scoring models with traditional credit scoring models,we use data from a European P2P lending market,Bondora,and also a random sample of loans from the Lending Club P2P lending *** compare the out-of-sample accuracy and profitability of the credit and profit scoring models within several classes of statistical and machine learning models including the following:logistic and linear regression,lasso,ridge,elastic net,random forest,and neural *** found that our approach outperforms standard credit scoring models for Lending Club and Bondora *** specifically,as opposed to credit scoring models,returns across all loans are 24.0%(Bondora)and 15.5%(Lending Club)higher,whereas accuracy is 6.7%(Bondora)and 3.1%(Lending Club)higher for the proposed profit scoring ***,our results are not driven by manual selection as profit scoring models suggest investing in more ***,even if we consider data sampling bias,we found that the set of superior models consists almost exclusively of profit scoring ***,our results contribute to the literature by suggesting a paradigm shift in modeling credit-risk in the P2P market to prefer profit as opposed to credit-risk scoring models.

This paper presents a theoretical model for describing the thermodynamic properties of doped ferroelectric crystals based on a modifed Weiss mean-field *** for quadrupole and octupole terms in the expression for the effective field within the Weiss model makes it possible to move from the Langevin equation to the Landau--Ginzburg ***,the cofficients of the Landau-Ginzburg equation can be expressed in terms of the physical parameters of the crystal *** these parameters,analytical ex pressions are proposed that describe their change when adding dopants in ceramic matrix *** barium titanate ceramics with a variety of inclusions is considered as an application example of the developed *** obtained agreement between the analytical and experimental results for barium titanate ceramics with lanthanum/magnesium/zirconium dopants gives us hope of the applicability of the present theory to the calculation of other doped ferroelectrics as well.

Recently fabricated InSe monolayers exhibit remarkable characteristics that indicate the potential of this material to host a number of many-body *** this work,we systematically describe collective electronic effects in hole-doped InSe monolayers using advanced many-body *** this end,we derive a realistic electronic-structure model from first principles that takes into account the most important characteristics of this material,including a flat band with prominent van Hove singularities in the electronic spectrum,strong electron–phonon coupling,and weakly screened long-ranged Coulomb *** calculate the temperature-dependent phase diagram as a function of band filling and observe that this system is in a regime with coexisting charge density wave and ferromagnetic instabilities that are driven by strong electronic Coulomb *** regime can be achieved at realistic doping levels and high enough temperatures,and can be verified *** find that the electron–phonon interaction does not play a crucial role in these effects,effectively suppressing the local Coulomb interaction without changing the qualitative physical picture.
