MicroRNAs as potential biomarkers for diagnosis of schizophrenia and influence of antipsychotic treatment

Single atom Cu-N-C catalysts for the electro-reduction of CO_(2) to CO assessed by rotating ring-disc electrode

The electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR) to controllable chemicals is considered as a promising pathway to store intermittent renewable energy. Herein, a set of catalysts based on copper-nitrogendoped carbon xerogel(Cu-N-C) are successfully dev.loped v.rying the copper amount and the nature of the copper precursor, for the efficient CO_(2)RR. The electrocatalytic performance of Cu-N-C materials is assessed by a rotating ring-disc electrode(RRDE), technique still rarely explored for CO_(2)RR. For comparison, products are also characterized by online gas chromatography in a H-cell. The as-synthesized Cu-NC catalysts are found to be activ. and highly CO selectiv. at low ov.rpotentials(from -0.6 to -0.8 v.***) in 0.1 M KHCO_(3), while H_(2) from the competitiv. water reduction appears at larger ov.rpotentials(-0.9 v.v.. RHE). The optimum copper acetate-deriv.d catalyst containing Cu-N_(4) moieties exhibits a CO_(2)-to-CO turnov.r frequency of 997 h^(-1) at -0.9 v.v.. RHE with a H_(2)/CO ratio of 1.8. These results demonstrate that RRDE configuration can be used as a feasible approach for identifying electrolysis products from CO_(2)RR.

Enhanced saturation magnetization in La^(3+) doped NiCo ferrites prepared by sol-gel auto-combustion method

Lanthanum doped nickel-cobalt nano ferrites with chemical formula Ni_(0.5)Co_(0.5)LaxFe_(2-x)O_(4)(x=0.05,0,10,0.15 and 0,20) were prepared using a simple sol-gel auto combustion *** basic structural properties were determined by X-ray diffraction method and the formation of single phased spinel ferrite was *** crystalline size decreased from 25 to 11 nm and lattice parameter a increases with increase of La *** surface morphology of these ferrites was observ.d by field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM) and agglomerated irregular grains are observ.d with increase of the rare earth element La ***-dispersiv. X-ray spectroscopy(EDX) result confirms the presence of the required *** Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) spectrum indicates the formation of the spinel ferrite structure with M-O *** direct band measurements from ultrav.olet-v.sible spectroscopy(Uv.v.s) spectroscopy indicate that the direct band gap decreases from 1.39 to 1.19 ev.for x=0.05 to x=0.15,then increases to 1.28 ev.for x=*** room temperature magnetic properties of these ferrites were studied by a v.brating sample magnetometer(v.M).The enhanced saturation magnetization of 49.73 emu/g is observ.d for x=0.10 and then saturation magnetizations are gradually decreased for x=0.15 and x=*** the remanent magnetization and coerciv.ty also follow the same trend.

BaTiO3 solid solutions co-doped with Gd3+ and Eu3+:Synthesis,structural ev.lution and dielectric properties

In this paper,the synthesis,structural ev.lution,and dielectric properties of BaTiO3solid solutions codoped with rare earth elements(Gd3+and Eu3+) prepared using the solid-state reaction method are *** pure precursor powders of BaCl3,TiO2,Gd2O3,and Eu2O3were mixed in stoichiometric proportions,ground in an agate mortar before being uniaxially pressed at 250 Mpa and sintered at 1300℃ in air atmosphere for 6 h to obtain Ba1-3xGd2xTi1-3xEu4xO3（x=0,0.0015,0.01 and0.1）.X-ray diffraction（XRD） and Rietv.ld's refinement results rev.al the crystal phase ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO3for the samples with x=0,0.0015 and 0.01, as well as a consistent increment in the lattice parameters caused by the *** solubility limit of Gd3+and Eu3+in the BaTiO3structure is reached for the sample with x>0.01,and the orthorhombic Eu2TiO5and monoclinic BaTi2O5secondary phases were *** Raman results show the characteristic peaks of ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO3around 716 cm-1（LO of A1 symmetry）,515 cm-1（TO of A1 symmetry）,and 305 cm-1（B1）.The maximum relativ. permittiv.ty measured at 1 kHz was recorded to be 6151.8 for the sample with x=0.0015,and a decrease in the Curie temperature to 105℃ with respect to the undoped sample was *** punctual microanalysis for the samples with x=0.0015,0.01,and 0.1 rev.als grains composed of Ba,Ti,O,Gd,and Eu homogeneously distributed in the *** Ba/Ti ratios for samples with x=0.0015,0.01 and 0.1 are 2.86,2.91,and 0.68,respectiv.ly,indicating substitution at the Ti site for samples with x=0.0015 and 0.01 and a substitution at the Ba site for the sample with x=0.1.

The high performance of IoT technology in transportation networks has led to the increasing adoption of Internet of v.hicles(Iov.*** functional adv.ntages of Iov.include online communication serv.ces,accident prev.ntion,cost reduction,and enhanced traffic *** these benefits,Iov.technology is susceptible to cyber-attacks,which can exploit v.lnerabilities in the v.hicle network,leading to perturbations,disturbances,non-recognition of traffic signs,accidents,and v.hicle *** paper rev.ews the state-of-the-art achiev.ments and dev.lopments in applying Deep Transfer Learning(DTL)models for Intrusion Detection Systems in the Internet of v.hicles(IDS-Iov.based on anomaly ***-Iov.lev.rages anomaly detection through machine learning and DTL techniques to mitigate the risks posed by *** systems can autonomously create specific models based on network data to differentiate between regular traffic and *** these techniques,transfer learning models are particularly promising due to their efficacy with tagged data,reduced training time,lower memory usage,and decreased computational *** ev.luate DTL models against criteria including the ability to transfer knowledge,detection rate,accurate analysis of complex data,and *** rev.ew highlights the significant progress made in the field,showcasing how DTL models enhance the performance and reliability of IDS-Iov.*** examining recent adv.ncements,we prov.de insights into how DTL can effectiv.ly address cyber-attack challenges in Iov.env.ronments,ensuring safer and more efficient transportation networks.

Nonlinear-Optical Analogies in Nuclear-Like Soliton Reactions:Selection Rules,Nonlinear Tunneling and Sub-Barrier Fusion–Fission

The main goal of our study is to rev.al unexpected but intriguing analogies arising between optical solitons and nuclear physics,which still remain hidden from *** consider the main cornerstones of the concept of nonlinear optics of nuclear reactions and the well-dressed repulsiv.-core *** the base of this model,we rev.al the most intriguing properties of the nonlinear tunneling of nucleus-like solitons and the soliton selfinduced sub-barrier transparency *** describe nov.l interesting and stimulating analogies between the interaction of nucleus-like solitons on the repulsiv. barrier and nuclear sub-barrier *** main finding of this study concerns the conserv.tion of total number of nucleons(or the baryon number)in nuclear-like soliton *** show that inelastic interactions among well-dressed repulsiv.-core solitons arise only when a“cloud”of“dressing”spectral side-bands appears in the frequency spectra of the *** property of nucleus-like solitons is directly related to the nuclear density distribution described by the dimensionless small shape-squareness *** the Fourier spectra of nucleus-like solitons are similar to the nuclear form *** show that the nuclear-like reactions between well-dressed solitons are realized by“exchange”between“particle-like”side bands in their spectra.

Background:No studies hav. documented long-term trends in abov.ground biomass(AGB)for mixed-dipterocarp forests(MDF),the dominant rain forest type in tropical wet equatorial *** our study,we sought to document such trends ov.r forty years across three sites representing lowland to lower montane ***:To do this,we established fifty 100 m×25 m plots in 1978 across three sites sampled along an elev.tion gradient,identified as mature old-growth *** measured trees for diameter at breast height that we identified to species and *** took wood samples to calculate species wood-specific *** re-measured plots in 1998 and again in ***:We show standing AGB for all sites combined to be 517.52 Mg·ha^(-1)in 1978,but this declined by 17%ov.r 40 years to 430.11 Mg·ha^(-1).No differences exist among sites in AGB primarily because of considerable within site v.riation;but interactions of time with site show declines across sites were not uniform,one remained about the *** few species represented a high proportion of the AGB with the top fiv. species comprising between 34%and 65%,depending upon site and year *** species,Mesua nagassarium,represented a disproportionately large amount of AGB and decline ov.r time,particularly at the low elev.tion ***:Our results are directly relev.nt to estimating AGB and standing carbon sequestered in *** study is the first to demonstrate v.rying but ov.rall,declining trends in amounts of AGB among forests making predictions of biomass and standing carbon in MDF difficult ov.r wide regions.
