Emission colour tuning in KLnF_(4):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)/Ho^(3+)phosphor

KLnF_(4):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)/Ho^(3+)(Ln=Y,Yb,Gd)phosphors were prepared by solid-state reaction *** each of the Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+)and Yb^(3+)/Ho^(3+)co-doped phosphors independently,phase confirmation and morphological examination were accomplished using the X-ray diffraction technique and scanning electron microscope analysis.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis shows the charge state and existence of lanthanides and *** luminescence emissions of green and red colour were detected for the synthesized *** changes in the upconv.rted emission intensities and colour output pertaining to the change of the lanthanide host matrix along with dopants were inv.stigated for the prepared *** the upconv.rsion luminescence,erbium-doped samples exhibit a predominance of red emission while holmium-doped samples display a prev.lence of green *** rare-earth Er/Ho doped KYbF4shows strong red emission compared to other ***_(4):Yb,Er/Ho exhibits relativ.ly significant green upconv. rsion emissions,while Yb,Er-doped KGdF_(4)host displays a 10-fold increase in green/red emission ratio with an increase in the input power of 20-780 *** photoluminescence studies and decay curv. analysis were carried out using Uv.light excitation for the dev.loped phosphors.A higher lifetime of 2.2 ms was measured for the downshifting red emission in the Ho doped KYbF_(4)*** study suggests a potential for colour tunability in the upconv.rsion and downshifting emissions through host modifications to the fluoride phosphor.

Exploring the potential of drill cuttings for reserv.ir characterization:A case study from the v.lga-Ural basin,Russia

The research objectiv.s are to assess the possibility of using drill cutting analysis to obtain information about the mineralogical and geochemical properties of the reserv.ir *** cutting samples were collected from a v.rtical well that penetrated the Domanik sediments(Semiluksk Formation)in one of the oil fields in the v.lga-Ural petroleum *** sections from drill cuttings were examined using an optical polarizing microscope(Axio Imager A2).X-ray diffraction(XRD)analyses were performed using a Brucker D2 phaser X-ray powder *** properties were studied using an STA 449 F3 Jupiter *** pyrolytic studies were performed using the Rock-Ev.l *** inspection showed that the studied sediments are alternations of carbonates and siliceous-carbonate *** section examinations rev.aled that the carbonates are mainly limestone(mudstone and wackestone)and are characterized by a dense texture and up to 30%organic *** siliceous-carbonate rocks are dominated by siliceous mudstones and are characterized by dark colours,layered structure,and an enrichment in organic *** analyses showed that the carbonate rocks are mainly composed of calcite,dolomite,quartz,feldspar,and mica,which are minor *** siliceous-carbonate rocks are dominated by quartz,followed by calcite,although they also contain feldspars,mica,dolomite,and pyrite as *** to the simultaneous thermal analysis,the av.rage total hydrocarbon in the carbonate and siliceous-carbonate rocks is 13.6%(for the core samples)and 11.5%(for the drill cutting samples).The content of heav. hydrocarbons in the rocks is higher than the content of light hydrocarbons,indicating the immature nature of organic *** is found sporadically in siliceous-carbonate *** to the pyrolytic studies,av.rage S1 is 4.4 mg/g and av.rage S2 is 19.8 mg/g(for the core samples);av.rage S1 is 2.1 mg/g and av.rage S2 is 17.8 mg/g(for the

Ion-conducting Membranes Based on Bacterial Cellulose Nanofibers Modified by poly(sodium acrylate-co-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid)

Green method for preparation of ion-conducting membranes(ICM) based on bacterial cellulose nanofibers(CNF) modified by a copolymer of sodium acrylate and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid was elaborated. FTIR and NMR data confirmed grafting of polyacrylate onto cellulose surface. Formation of porous structure of the ICM was controlled by SEM and AFM. The maximal ionic conductiv.ty of the membranes reaches 1.5 and 3.1 mS·cm^(-1)(60 ℃ and 98% relativ. humidity) when they are saturated with water or H_2SO_4(1 mol·L^(-1)) electrolyte,respectiv.ly. prepared ICM was tested as a separator in a symmetrical supercapacitor with electrodes based on polyaniline hydrogel. The assembled cell demonstrate ability to operate at high current density up to 100 A·g^(-1) maintaining specific capacitance 165 F·g^(-1). Maximal specific capacitance of 289 F·g^(-1) was achiev.d at current density 1 A·g^(-1). Retaining of 90% of initial capacitance after 10000 of charge-discharge cycles prov.s high electrochemical stability of prepared ICM.

Rigidity Symmetry Line for Thermodynamic Fluid Equations-of-State

We report progress towards a modern scientific description of thermodynamic properties of fluids following the discov.ry (in 2012) of a coexisting critical density hiatus and a supercritical mesophase defined by percolation transitions. The state functions density ρ(p,T), and Gibbs energy G(p,T), of fluids, e.g. CO2, H2O and argon exhibit a symmetry characterised by the rigidity, ω = (dp/dρ)T, between gaseous and liquid states along any isotherm from critical (Tc) to Boyle (TB) temperatures, on either side of the supercritical mesophase. Here, using experimental data for fluid argon, we inv.stigate the low-density cluster physics description of an ideal dilute gas that obeys Dalton’s partial pressure law. Cluster expansions in powers of density relate to a supercritical liquid-phase rigidity symmetry (RS) line (ω = ρrs(T) = RT) to gas phase v.rial coefficients. We show that it is continuous in all deriv.tiv.s, linear within stable fluid phase, and relates analytically to the Boyle-work line (BW) (w = (p/ρ)T = RT), and to percolation lines of gas (pB) and liquid (pA) phases by: ρBW(T) = 2ρpA(T) = 3ρpB(T) = 3ρRS(T)/2 for T TB. These simple relationships arise, because the higher v.rial coefficients (bn, n ≥ 4) cancel due to clustering equilibria, or become negligible at all temperatures (0 T TB) within the gas phase. The Boyle-work line (p/ρBW)T is related exactly at lower densities as T → TB, and accurately for liquid densities, by ρBW(T) = −(b2/b3)T. The RS line, ω(T) = RT, defines a new liquid-density ground-state physical constant (ρRS(0) = (2/3)ρBW(0) for argon). Management of Strawberry Grey Mold Disease Using Biocontrol Agents and plant Extracts

Strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa Duch.) is a significant global soft fruit crop, prized for its nutrient content and pleasant flav.r. Howev.r, diseases, particularly grey mold caused by Botrytis cinerea pers. Fr. poses major constraints to strawberry production and productiv.ty. Grey mold sev.rely impacts fruit quality and quantity, diminishing market v.lue. This study ev.luated fiv. B. cinerea isolates from v.rious locations in the Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya. All isolates were pathogenic, with isolate SGM 2 identified as highly v.rulent. Host range studies showed the pathogen-producing symptoms in the fav. bean pods, marigold, gerbera, and chrysanthemum flowers and in the fav. bean, gerbera, and lettuce leav.s. In v.tro tests rev.aled that neem extract (15% w/v. achiev.d the highest mycelial growth inhibition at 76.66%, while black turmeric extract (5% w/v. had the lowest inhibition at 9.62%. Dual culture methods with bio-control agents indicated that Bacillus subtilis recorded the highest mean inhibition at 77.03%, while pseudomonas fluorescens had the lowest at 20.36% against the two v.rulent isolates. pot ev.luations demonstrated that B. subtilis resulted in the lowest percent disease index at 20.59%, followed by neem extract at 23.31%, with the highest disease index in the control group at 42.51%. Additionally, B. subtilis significantly improv.d plant growth, yielding an av.rage of 0.32 kg compared to 0.14 kg in the control. The promising results of B. subtilis and neem leaf extract from this study suggest their potential for eco-friendly managing grey mold in strawberries under field conditions.
