Solar-driven hydrogen production from seawater attracts great interest for its emerging role in decarbonizing global energy consumption. Given the complexity of natural seawater content, photocatalytic vapor splitting offers a low-cost and safe solution, but with a very low solar-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency. With a focus on cutting-edge photothermal–photocatalytic device design and system integration, the recent research advances on vapor splitting from seawater, as well as industrial implementations in the past decades were reviewed. In addition, the design strategies of the key processes were reviewed, including vapor temperature and pressure control during solar thermal vapor generation from seawater, capillary-fed vaporization with salt repellent, and direct photocatalytic vapor splitting for hydrogen production. Moreover, the existing laboratory-scale and industrial-scale systems, and the integration principles and remaining challenges in the future seawater-to-hydrogen technology were discussed.

目睹最近在降低与慢性心衰相关的死亡率方面取得极大进展的同时，人们似乎忽略了失代偿性心衰（decompensated heart failure，DHF）治疗方法的进步，这一点可以从有限的治疗设备以及同样不多见的有根据的文献报道中得到证实。绝大部分患者都可以通过现有的干预手段达到最初的稳定病情以及改善症状的目的。但是出院后数月内患者的再次住院率以及死亡率却居高不下（30％～60％）。在未来的10年中，大量的研究活动以及药理学的创新很有可能改革我们现在对DHF患者的诊断、分类、治疗以及评估方法。正在进行中的临床前以及临床试验正在研究新型正性肌力药、利尿剂和利水药以及心肌代谢的调控因子。本文对那些极具研发前景的在研药物进行综述分析，并提供动物和人体试验的数据。

We present a mathematical analysis of the transmission of certain diseases using a stochastic susceptible-exposed-infectious-treated-recovered(SEITR)model with multiple stages of infection and treatment and explore the effects of treatments and external fluctuations in the transmission,treatment and recovery *** assume external fluctuations are caused by variability in the number of contacts between infected and susceptible *** is shown that the expected number of secondary infections produced(in the absence of noise)reduces as treatment is introduced into the *** defining RT,n and R T,n as the basic deterministic and stochastic reproduction numbers,respectively,in stage n of infection and treatment,we show mathematically that as the intensity of the noise in the transmission,treatment and recovery rates increases,the number of secondary cases of infection *** global stability of the disease-free and endemic equilibrium for the deterministic and stochastic SEITR models is also *** work presented is demonstrated using parameter values relevant to the transmission dynamics of Influenza in the United States from October 1,2018 through May 4,2019 influenza seasons.

Background:Africa reduced its under-5 mortality rate(U5MR)by more than 50%during the MDGs ***,it still has by far the highest average U5MR in the world-81 deaths compared to a global average of 43 deaths per 1000 births,with eight of the ten countries in the world with the highest child mortality *** primary objective of our study was to examine the socioeconomic,healthcare,and environmental determinants that most account for U5MR disparities between African ***:We used a series of ordinary least squares(OLS)regression models to assess the effects of 14 distinct socioeconomic,environmental and healthcare variables that account for the high U5MR differentials that persist between African *** conducted our analysis on 43 countries for which data were *** a dummy variable,we also emphasized factors that may be accounting for the disparity between the eight worstperforming countries and the remainder of the ***:Among all the determinants analyzed in our study,the results reveal that the factors that most account for the inequities observed are,in order,expenditure on healthcare(p<0.01),total fertility rate(p<0.01),income per capita(p<0.05),and access to clean water(p<0.1).Conclusions:Our results show that the gap between the best and worst performing countries in Africa can be significantly narrowed if government and donor interventions will target downstream factors such as improving education for mothers and sensitising them about birth control since fertility rate differences play a critical *** accessibility to clean water sources to reduce outbreaks of diarrhea diseases is also observed as a critical factor.
