Ba.kground Since the la.e 1990s, bighea.ed ca.ps(la.gely silver ca.p [Hypophtha.michthys molitrix] but a.so bighea. ca.p [H. nobilis]) ha.e esta.lished throughout the lower Mississippi River ba.in. Using previously studied oxbow la.es in the lower White River ba.in, a.ka.sa., we compa.ed current(2017, “post-ca.p” esta.lishment) fish a.sembla.es to historica.(2002, “pre-ca.p” esta.lishment) fish a.sembla.es. Fish a.sembla.es were comprehensively a.sessed using multiple gea.s, including boa. electrofishing, mini-fyke nets, a.d experimenta. sma.l-mesh gill *** T-tests suggested tha. fish a.sembla.e indices of richness, diversity, evenness, a.d domina.ce were often grea.er(P a.p period a. reflected by boa. electrofishing a.d experimenta. gill nets. However, a.l indices were genera.ly simila.(P > 0.05) between the pre-ca.p a.d post-ca.p period with fish a.sembla.es depicted using mini-fyke nets. Nonmetric multidimensiona. sca.ing a.a.yses indica.ed tha. fish a.sembla.es differed structura.ly between pre-ca.p a.d post-ca.p periods. a.sembla.e differences were linked to both sma.l a.d la.ge a.unda.ce cha.ges for more tha. 20 species. a.unda.ces of gizza.d sha.(Dorosoma.cepedia.um), emera.d shiner(Notropis a.herinoides), pugnose minnow(Opsopoeodus emilia.), cra.pies(Pomoxis spp.), bluegill(Lepomis ma.rochirus), ora.gespotted sunfish(L. humilis), a.d yellow ba.s(Morone mississippiensis) declined between the pre-ca.p a.d postca.p periods. Conversely, a.unda.ces of weed shiner(N. texa.us), pa.lid shiner(Hybopsis a.nis), longea. sunfish(L. mega.otis), buffa.ofishes(Ictiobus spp.), a.d ga.s(Lepisosteus spp.) genera.ly increa.ed during the sa.e *** a.though not possible to conclude a.sembla.e shifts were entirely rela.ed to bighea.ed ca.ps due to the a.sence of a. a.propria.e reference system where ca.ps did not esta.lish, the wide esta.lishment of these ca.ps is one of the most perva.ive cha.ges to ha.e occurred in the lower White

Prosta.e ca.cer is the second lea.ing ca.se of ca.cer dea.hs in the United Sta.es a.d rema.ns a.significa.t hea.th concern for men throughout the world. Despite the discovery of promising immunothera.eutic stra.egies, cura.ive outcomes rema.n elusive. We ha.e investiga.ed eosinophils a. potentia. a.ti-ca.cer effector cells, a.d ha.e reported the a.ility of their toxic gra.ula. proteins (MBP, EPO, ECP, EDN) to inhibit prosta.e tumor cell growth?in vitro. This study investiga.es the effect of eosinophil MBP extra.t on the expression of oncogenes p53, bcl-xl, ba., a.d c-myc, which modula.e tumor growth, prolifera.ion, a.d a.optosis. Briefly, gra.ula. proteins were differentia.ly extra.ted from GRC.014.22 a.d GRC.014.24, eosinophilic cell lines esta.lished in our la.ora.ory from a.pa.ient with modera.e a.thma. Protein extra.ts were fra.tiona.ed on Sepha.ex G-50 columns, a.d prosta.e tumor cell lines DU-145, LNCa., PC-3, a.d HPC8L (esta.lished in our la.ora.ory from a.tumor resected from a. a.rica. a.erica. pa.ient) were trea.ed with MBP extra.ts from the pooled third pea.s. Colony forma.ion a.d monola.er cell growth inhibition a.sa.s were used to eva.ua.e the protein’s growth inhibitory a.tivity a.a.nst prosta.e tumor cells;a.d gene expression a.a.yses, to determine p53, bcl-xl, ba., a.d c-myc oncogene expression. We show tha. the gra.ula. proteins were potent in their a.tion on HPC8L, inhibiting colony forma.ion in a.dose-dependent ma.ner. Trea.ed prosta.e tumor cell lines trended towa.d a.optosis-induction, a. evident in bcl-xl/ba. ra.ios a.ed p53 expression, a.d up or downregula.ion of c-myc. These prelimina.y results demonstra.e the growth inhibitory potentia. of eosinophil gra.ula. proteins a.d strongly support the hypothesis tha. eosinophils modula.e the expression of oncogenes a.socia.ed with prosta.e tumor prolifera.ion a.d a.optosis. More importa.tly, this study offers insights into possible a.plica.ions of eosinophilic media.ors in oncogenic-ta.geted

Ba.kground:The mobiliza.ion a.d redistribution of severe a.ute respira.ory syndrome corona.irus 2(Sa.S-CoV-2)specific T-cells a.d neutra.izing a.tibodies(na.s)during exercise is purported to increa.e immune surveilla.ce a.d protect a.a.nst severe corona.irus disea.e 2019(COVID-19).We sought to determine if COVID-19 va.cina.ion would elicit exercise-responsive Sa.S-CoV-2 T-cells a.d tra.siently a.ter na. ***:Eighteen hea.thy pa.ticipa.ts completed a.20-min bout of gra.ed cycling exercise before a.d/or a.ter receiving a.COVID-19 *** ma.or leukocyte subtypes were enumera.ed before,during,a.d a.ter exercise by flow cytometry,a.d immune responses to Sa.S-CoV-2 were determined using whole blood peptide stimula.ion a.sa.s,T-cell receptor(TCR)-βsequencing,a.d Sa.S-CoV-2 na. ***:COVID-19 va.cina.ion ha. no effect on the mobiliza.ion or egress of ma.or leukocyte subsets in response to intensity-controlled gra.ed ***,non-infected pa.ticipa.ts ha. a.significa.tly reduced mobiliza.ion of CD4+a.d CD8+na.ve T-cells,a. well a. Deep-sea.ed toppling in the upper rea.hes of the La.ca.g River,southwest China.involves deforma.ions exceeding 100 m in *** slope deforma.ion is initia.ed by river downcutting a.d evolves distinctive cha.a.teristics with a.depth of river *** this study,we propose a.system for eva.ua.ing the sta.ility of deep-sea.ed toppled slopes in different evolutiona.y *** system conta.ns identifica.ion criteria.for ea.h evolutiona.y sta.e a.d provides the corresponding sta.ility eva.ua.ion *** on the mecha.ica. a.d kinema.ic a.a.ysis of slope blocks,the specific sta.e of slope movement ca. be identified in the field through outcrop ma.ping,in situ tests,surfa.e displa.ement monitoring,a.d a.it a.d borehole *** sta.ility eva.ua.ion methods a.e esta.lished ba.ed on the limiting equilibrium theory a.d the stra.n compa.ibility between the undisturbed zone a.d the toppled ***,severa. sa.ple slopes in different evolution sta.es ha.e been investiga.ed to verify the a.plica.ility a.d a.cura.y of the proposed sta.ility eva.ua.ion *** results indica.e tha. intense tectonic a.tivity a.d ra.id river incision lea. to a.ma.imum principa. stress ra.io exceeding 10 nea. the slope surfa.e,thus triggering widesprea. toppling deforma.ions a.ong the river *** considering the losses of joint cohesion during the further rota.ion process,the sa.ety fa.tor of the slope drops by 7%e28%.The self-sta.iliza.ion of toppling deforma.ion ca. be recognized by the la.er symmetry configura.ion a.ter the free rota.ion of the deflected *** toppled rock blocks ma.nly suffer sliding fa.lures beyond the la.er symmetry *** fa.tor of sa.ety of the K73 rockslide decrea.ed from 1.17 to 0.87 by considering the development of the potentia. sliding surfa.e a.d the toesa.ura.ed zone.
