5,6,7-Trihydroquinolin-8-one was condensed with the corresponding benzidine to give N,N′-bis（5,6,7-trihydroquinolin-8-ylidene）-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4,4′-diamine derivatives（L1–L3）. The ligands were reacted with two equivalents of Ni Cl2·6H2O in a mixture of Et OH and CH2Cl2 to afford the corresponding dinickel（II） chloride complexes（Ni1-Ni3）. The organic compounds were completely characterized, whilst the bi-metallic complexes were characterized by FTIR spectra and elemental analysis. These nickel complexes exhibited high activities towards ethylene polymerization in the presence of either MAO or Me2AlCl, maintaining a high activity over a prolonged period. The obtained polyethylenes were confirmed as having low molecular weights by GPC analysis.

Spark is the most popular in-memory processing framework for big data *** is the crucial resource for workloads to achieve performance acceleration on *** extant memory capacity configuration approach in Spark is to statically configure the memory capacity for workloads based on user’s ***,without the deep knowledge of the workload’s system-level characteristics,users in practice often conservatively overestimate the memory utilizations of their workloads and require resource manager to grant more memory share than that they actually need,which leads to the severe waste of memory *** address the above issue,SMConf,an automated memory capacity configuration solution for in-memory computing workloads in Spark is *** is designed based on the observation that,though there is not one-size-fit-all proper configuration,the one-size-fit-bunch configuration can be found for in-memory computing *** classifies typical Spark workloads into categories based on metrics across layers of Spark system *** each workload category,an individual memory requirement model is learned from the workload’s input data size and the strong-correlated configuration *** an ad-hoc workload,SMConf matches its memory requirement signature to one of the workload categories with small-sized input data and determines its proper memory capacity configuration with the corresponding memory requirement *** results demonstrate that,compared to the conservative default configuration,SMConf can reduce the memory resource provision to Spark workloads by up to 69%with the slight performance degradation,and reduce the average turnaround time of Spark workloads by up to 55%in the multi-tenant environments.

目的:探讨艾灸特定穴位对老年慢性精神分裂症患者精神心理躯体状态及社会功能的影响。方法:选取2022年3月—2023年3月广州医科大学附属脑科医院收治的90例老年慢性精神分裂症患者,按照随机数字表法分为观察1组、观察2组、空白对照组,各30例,在常规治疗基础上,观察1组给予艾灸双侧肾俞治疗,观察2组给予艾灸双侧足三里治疗,空白对照组不给予艾灸治疗。比较三组临床指标、精神心理躯体状态及社会功能、生活质量和药物副作用发生情况。结果:干预前、干预12周后,三组体重、体脂率、腰围、体重指数(BMI)、舒张压比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);干预12周后,观察1组、观察2组心率均低于干预前及空白对照组,收缩压均低于空白对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05);干预12周后,三组PANSS、BPRS、SDSS、SQLS评分均低于干预前,且观察1组、观察2组均低于空白对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论:对老年慢性精神分裂症患者双侧肾俞或双侧足三里进行艾灸,可降低心率,稳定血压,改善精神心理躯体状态,提高社会功能和生活质量。

Objective: Reflection is a process of deliberating thinking and examining one's practice in the past and thereby encouraging nurses to make improvements in future care delivery. This work outlines a piece of reflection involving the practice of communication between nurses and the elderly, to emancipate the authors from their constraints, help to find values as practitioners, and gain a greater understanding of the nurse-patient ***: Using Smyth's four-stage model as a guide, as well as empirical and theoretical knowledge on nurse-patient relationships, this paper presents a deep reflection on the relationship that the authors developed with elderly patients and their families, encountered during the practice as a nurse. By applying the four main stages consisting of describe, inform, confront, and reconstruct, this model enabled the authors to frame, describe the practice issue, and explore the meaning behind it, which helps to facilitate a structured ***: Critical emancipatory reflection, in association with the Espoused theory and Theory-in-use, as well as reflexivity, critical social theory, and hegemony, was applied to uncover the various power relationships and constraining forces in the authors' practice involved in communicating with the elderly, such as the underlying false consciousness, hegemony, hidden assumptions, influential values, and dominant power structure, which are subtle and persuasive. By applying this process of critical reflection, transformative practice could be ***: The process of critical reflection facilitated the development of the abilities required to develop and maintain the nursepatient relationship. It helps to enhance the care of old patients and their families, which illuminates the future nursing practice.

In dam works, air precooling of aggregate is a common and effective method to avoid temperature cracks in concrete structure. In order to offer a reliable design theory for the air precooling process to avoid unreasonable energy consumption, the transient heat transfer characteristics of the aggregate are intensively analyzed. The combined structure of the aggregate and the interstitial space in the hopper is treated as a porous structure, and the space-average method is used to simulate the transient heat transfer process. Simulation results show that size of the hopper and the average air velocity in the cross section have great influence on the transient heat transfer process of the aggregate, while the porosity in the range of 0.4-0.5 has little influence. Nomograms are abstracted from simulation results, and then correlations of the compared excess temperature are precisely fitted to predict the air precooling transient heat transfer process of the aggregate.

The effects of free chlorine disinfection of tap water and wastewater effluents on the infectivity, gene integrity and surface antigens of rotaviruses were evaluated by a bench-scale chlorine disinfection experiments. Plaque assays, integrated cell culture-quantitative RT- PCR （ICC-RT-qPCR）, RT-qPCR, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays （ELISA）, respectively, were used to assess the influence of the disinfectant on virus infectivity as well as genetic and antigenic integrity of simian rotavirus SA11 as a surrogate for human rotaviruses. The ICC-RT-qPCR was able to detect rotaviruses survival from chlorine disinfection at chlorine dose up to 20 mg/L （60 min contact）, which suggested a required chlorine dose of 5 folds （from 1 to 5 mg/L） higher than that indicated by the plaque assay to achieve 1.8 log10 reductions in tap water with 60 rain exposing. The VP7 gene was more resistant than the infectivity and existed at chlorine dose up to 20 mg/L （60 min contact）, while the antigencity was undetectable with chlorine dose more than 5 mg/L （60 min contact）. The water quality also impacted the inactivation efficiencies, and rotaviruses have a relatively higher resistant in secondary effluents than in the tap water under the same chlorine disinfection treatments. This study indicated that rotaviruses have a higher infectivity, gene and antigencity resistance to chlorine than that previously indicated by plaque assay only, which seemed to underestimate the resistance of rotaviruses to chlorine and the risk of rotaviruses in environments. Present results also suggested that re-evaluation of resistance of other waterborne viruses after disinfections by more sensitive infectivity detection method （such as ICC-RT-qPCR） may be necessary, to determine the adequate disinfectant doses required for the inactivation of waterborne viruses.

Evolution of the Rust Layers Formed on Carbon and Weathering Steels in Environment Containing Chloride Ions

To clarify the correlation between alloy elements and growth pattern of the rust layers, the rusting evolution of the carbon and weathering steels was investigated by using the gold markers method. The corrosion experiments were carried out in a simulated environment containing chloride ions. The results indicate that Ni, Cu, Cr and Mo elements in the weathering steel suppress the rust crystallization and impede the rust layer growth to an internal development, and the suppression function benefits the formation of a protective rust layer. Moreover, c-FeOOH is mainly located in the outer rust layer, while b-FeOOH is mainly located in the inner rust layer, and the distribution of the rust compounds in the rust layer is closely related to the growth pattern of the rust layer.
