Human beings have experienced a serious public health event as the new pneumonia(COVID-19), caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus has killed more than 3000 people in China, most of them elderly or people with underlying chronic diseases or immunosuppressed states. Rapid assessment and early warning are essential for outbreak analysis in response to serious public health events. This paper reviews the current model analysis methods and conclusions from both micro and macro perspectives. The establishment of a comprehensive assessment model, and the use of model analysis prediction, is very efficient for the early warning of infectious diseases. This would significantly improve global surveillance capacity, particularly in developing regions, and improve basic training in infectious diseases and molecular epidemiology.

AIM： To compare the difference and agreement of KR- lW and iTrace for measurement of high order aberrations.METHODS： KR-1W and iTrace were respectively used in a group of healthy people （40 volunteers, 32 eyes） to measure the high order aberration （HOA） of corneal, internal and total ocular. The clinical difference and agreement of two instruments were respectively evaluated by paired-samples 1-test and Bland-Altman analysis. RESULTS： The paired-samples t-test showed that the corneal HOA measured by the two instruments had no statistical differences （P〉0.05）; but the internal and total ocular HOA had significant statistical differences （P〈 0.05）, and the mean results measured by iTrace were higher than that of KR-1W. However, Bland-Altman analysis revealed that the HOA of corneal and internal were all in 95% limits of agreement; and just one point of total ocular HOA was beyond the 95% limits of agreement. CONCLUSION： KR-1W and iTrace were consistent well in the measurement of corneal, internal and total ocular HOA, especially for the cornea.

Formation and reactivation mechanisms of large-scale ancient landslides in the Longwu River basin in the northeast Tibetan Plateau, China

The northeastern Tibetan Plateau exhibits steep topography and strong internal or external dynamic geological effect and is frequently subjected to strong earthquakes and heavy rainfall. The geological evolution has resulted in a wide distribution of ancient landslides, which has become a hotspot for studying ancient landslide formation and reactivation. In recent decades, several ancient landslides on both banks of the Longwu River, Qinghai Province, China were reactivated, causing serious economic losses and casualties. This study conducted remote sensing interpretation and ground surveys on these ancient landslides. Totally 59 ancient landslides were identified, and the formation mechanism, evolution process, and resurrection mechanism of the Longwu Xishan No.2 ancient landslide were analyzed by means of a detailed field geological survey, drilling, and series of experimental tests such as the particle size distribution test, the Xray diffraction test and the mechanical properties test. The results show that the formation of these ancient landslides is closely associated with the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and the erosion of the Longwu River. Firstly, the intermittent uplift of the Tibetan Plateau lead to the diversion and downcutting of the Longwu River basin, which forms the alternate slope topography with steep and slow slopes, thereby providing favourable topography and slope structure conditions for the formation of landslides. Secondly, 34.5% clay-mineral content in the Neoproterozoic mudstone with 32.7% particle size less than 0.005 mm, and the corrosion and softening effects of the Neogene mudstone with high clay mineral content under the erosion of water provides favourable material conditions for the formation of landslides. Thirdly, rainfall and human activities are the primary triggering factors for the revival of this ancient landslide group. Empirical research is playing a significant role in software engineering （SE）, and it has been applied to evaluate software artifacts and technologies. There have been a great number of empirical research articles published recently. There is also a large research community in empirical software engineering （ESE）. In this paper, we identify both the overall landscape and detailed implementations of ESE, and investigate frequently applied empirical methods, targeted research purposes, used data sources, and applied data processing approaches and tools in ESE. The aim is to identify new trends and obtain interesting observations of empirical software engineering across different sub-fields of software engineering. We conduct a mapping study on 538 selected articles from January 2013 to November 2017, with four research questions. We observe that the trend of applying empirical methods in software engineering is continuously increasing and the most commonly applied methods are experiment, case study and survey. Moreover, open source projects are the most frequently used data sources. We also observe that most of researchers have paid attention to the validity and the possibility to replicate their studies. These observations are carefully analyzed and presented as carefully designed diagrams. We also reveal shortcomings and demanded knowledge/strategies in ESE and propose recommendations for researchers.

Recently, functional molecules such as Polydopamine(PDA), Hyaluronic Acid(HA) and heparin have been widely studied in the field of surface modification of magnesium(Mg) alloy stents for better degradation behavior and biocompatibility, but their further application is limited by undesirable anticoagulant function, uncontrollable degradation and easy bleeding, *** to this consideration, a magnesium Fluoride/Polydopamine/Sulphonated hyaluronic acid(Mg F2/PDA/S-HA) composite coating was successfully prepared by applying S-HA with sulfur content of 9.71 wt% on the surface of ZE21B alloy in this study. The results showed that the composite coating with a unique mesh structure not only inherited the anticoagulant effect of sulfonic acid group and the excellent cyto-compatibility of S-HA with high sulfur content, but also significantly improved the corrosion performance of ZE21B *** results indicate a great application potential of the composite coating in the field of cardiovascular biomaterials.

High-efficiency seawater electrolysis is impeded by the low activity and low durability of oxygen evolution catalysts due to the complex composition and competitive side reactions in ***,a heterogeneousstructured catalyst is constructed by depositing NiFe-layered double hydroxides(NiFe-LDH)on the substrate of MXene(V_(2)CT_(x))modified Ni foam(NF),and abbreviated as NiFe-LDH/V_(2)CT_(x)/*** demonstrated,owing to the intrinsic negative charge characteristic of V_(2)CT_(x),chlorine ions are denied entry to the interface between NiFeLDH and V_(2)CT_(x)/NF substrate,thus endowing NiFe-LDH/V_(2)CT_(x)/NF catalyst with high corrosion resistance and durable stability for 110 h at 500 mA cm^(-2).Meanwhile,the two-dimensional structure and high electrical conductivity of V_(2)CT_(x) can respectively enlarge the electrochemical active surface area and guarantee fast charge transfer,thereby synergistically promoting the catalytic performance of NiFe-LDH/V_(2)CT_(x)/NF in both deionized water electrolyte(261 m V at 100 m A cm^(-2))and simulated seawater electrolyte(241 mV at 100 mA cm^(-2)).This work can guide the preparation of oxygen evolution catalysts and accelerate the industrialization of seawater electrolysis.

Pore structure and oxygen content design of amorphous carbon toward a durable anode for potassium/sodium-ion batteries

Both sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)are considered as promising candidates in grid-level energy storage ***,the larger ionic radii of K+and Na+induce poor diffusion kinetics and cycling stability of carbon anode *** structure regulation is an ideal strategy to promote the diffusion kinetics and cyclic stability of carbon materials by facilitating electrolyte infiltration,increasing the transport channels,and alleviating the volume ***,traditional pore-forming agent-assisted methods considerably increase the difficulty of synthesis and limit practical applications of porous carbon ***,porous carbon materials(Ca-PC/Na-PC/K-PC)with different pore structures have been prepared with gluconates as the precursors,and the amorphous structure,abundant micropores,and oxygen-doping active sites endow the Ca-PC anode with excellent potassium and sodium storage *** PIBs,the capacitive contribution ratio of Ca-PC is 82%at 5.0 mV s^(-1) due to the introduction of micropores and high oxygen-doping content,while a high reversible capacity of 121.4 mAh g^(-1) can be reached at 5 A g^(-1) after 2000 *** SIBs,stable sodium storage capacity of 101.4 mAh g^(-1) can be achieved at 2 A g^(-1) after 8000 cycles with a very low decay rate of 0.65%for per *** work may provide an avenue for the application of porous carbon materials in the energy storage field.

linear and Nonlinear Optical Properties of Novel Multi-branched Oligomers

We investigate the fluorene-vinylene unit dependent photo-physical properties of multi- branched truxene based oligomers （Tr-OFVn, n=1-4） employing steady-state absorption and emission spectroscopy, transient absorption spectroscopy, two-photon fluorescence, and z-scan technique. The results show that the increasing of fluorene-vinylene unit leads to a red-shift in the spectra of absorption and fluorescence, and shortens the excited state lifetime. Meanwhile, two-photon fluorescence efficiency and two-photon absorption cross section of truxene based oligolners gradually enhance in company with the extension of π- conjugated length. In addition, the values of two-photon absorption cross section modeled on the sum-over-state approach agree well with the experimental ones. The results indicate multi-branched truxene based oligomers bearing organic materials for two-photon applications.
