The excitation function of the 58Ni(n,p)58co reaction was measured using the well-established neutron activation technique andγ-ray *** in the energy range of 1.7 to 2.7 MeV were generated using the 7Li(p,n)*** neutron flux was measured using the standard 115In(n,n’)115mIn monitor *** results of the neutron spectrum averaged cross-section of 58Ni(n,p)58co reactions were compared with existing cross-section data available in the EXFOR data library as well as with various evaluated data libraries such as ENDF/B-VIII.0,JEFF-3.3,JENDL-4.0,and *** calculations were performed using the nuclear reaction code *** nuclear level density(NLD)models were tested,and their results were compared with the present *** NLDs were also obtained through the spectral distribution method(SDM).The cross-section results,along with the absolute errors,were obtained by investigating the uncertainty propagation and using the covariance *** forγ-ray true coincidence summing,low-energy background neutrons,andγ-ray self attenuation were *** experimental cross-section obtained in the present study is consistent with previously published experimental data,evaluated libraries,and theoretical calculations carried out using the TALYS code.

选择广泛用于水库蓄水、农作物灌溉的加利福尼亚州Merced河流研究河岸阴影变化对河段光合有效辐射的影响.合理布设高精度数字相机,经济型、自记录的温度和光合有效辐射(PAR)传感器共同记录研究区域连续3天不同天气变化情况下的河流表面光合有效辐射的变化情况.结合多变量变化检测(MAD)方法识别河岸植被阴影的变化,分析不同情况下河岸植被阴影变化对河段光合有效辐射的影响.初步研究结果表明,MAD变换提取的阴影变化和PAR传感器获取的河段光合有效辐射变化之间存在较好的相关性,提出的基于快速识别河岸阴影的时空变化、河流表面太阳辐射变化情况,具有推广性.

ceramic supported cerium, manganese and cerium-manganese catalysts were prepared by direct impregnation of aq precursor, and characterized by scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller rn （BET）, temperature programmed reduction （Ha-TPR）, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） acidity measurements and elec conductivity. The catalytic activity was evaluated for volatile organic compounds （VOc）（ethanol, methyl ethyl ketone and tol oxidation. Additionally, catalysts were tested in particulate matter （PM） combustion. The characterization results indicated that ce was in the form of ce4＋ and ce3＋, and Mn existed in the form of Mn4＋ and Mn3＋ on the surface of the Mn/Ac sample and in the of Mn4＋ in the ce/Mn/Ac monolith. VOc oxidation results revealed that the ce/Mn/Ac sample showed an excellent perforr compared with ceramic supported ceO2 （ce/Ac） and MnO, （Mn/Ac） samples. The PM combustion was also higher on ce/M monoliths. The enhanced catalytic activity was mainly attributed to the ce and Mn interaction which enhanced the acidity, cond ity and the reducibility of the oxides.

currently,artificial-membrane lungs consist of thousands of hollow fiber membranes where blood flows around the fibers and gas flows inside the fibers,achieving diffusive gas *** both ends of the fibers,the interspaces between the hollow fiber membranes and the plastic housing are filled with glue to separate the gas from the blood *** a uniaxial centrifugation process,the glue forms the“potting.”The shape of the cured potting is then determined by the centrifugation process,limiting design possibilities and leading to unfavorable stagnation zones associated with blood *** this study,a new multiaxial centrifugation process was developed,expanding the possible shapes of the potting and allowing for completely new module designs with potentially superior blood flow guidance within the potting ***-phase simulations of the process in conceptual artificial lungs were performed to explore the possibilities of a biaxial centrifugation process and determine suitable parameter sets.A corresponding biaxial centrifugation setup was built to prove feasibility and experimentally validate four conceptual designs,resulting in good agreement with the *** summary,this study shows the feasibility of a multiaxial centrifugation process allowing greater variety in potting shapes,eliminating inefficient stagnation zones and more favorable blood flow conditions in artificial lungs.

Genesis of Manganese Deposits in the Ali Khanzai Block of the Zhob Ophiolite,Pakistan:Inferences from Geochemistry and Mineralogy

The Zhob ophiolite comprises the Naweoba, Omzha and Ali Khanzai blocks, which are surrounded by the sediments of the Alozai Group and Loralai Formation. The Ali Khanzai Block contains metamorphic, ultramafic, gabbroic, volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks with associated chert. The Zhob manganese deposits found in the Ali Khanzai Block, occur in banded, lenticular and massive forms within red to brown coloured metachert. Braunite and pyrolusite are the main constituent manganese-bearing minerals with minor hausmannite, hematite and barite while quartz is the major gangue mineral with some carbonate minerals. Geochemical evidence from the major oxides indicates that the manganese mineralization and associated metachert at Zhob were formed by hydrothermal activity with little contribution from contemporaneous volcanic materials and this is confirmed by high Fe/Mn and low co/Zn ratios and trace element patterns. These deposits formed along with seafloor spreading centres and were later obducted as part of Ali Khanzai Block of Zhob ophiolite.

Does urodynamics predict voiding after benign prostatic hyperplasia surgery in patients with detrusor underactivity?

Objective:We sought to determine if urodynamic study(UDS)predicted voiding outcomes in men with detrusor underactivity(DU)and benign prostatic enlargement(BPE)who underwent photovaporization of the prostate(PVP).Methods:Between September 2010 and July 2015,106 male patients with BPE and DU were *** patients underwent *** retention was noted by the preoperative necessity for an indwelling or intermittent *** collection included comorbidities,quality of life(QoL)scores,prostate volume,prostate-specific antigen(PSA),UDS and perioperative *** parameters included volume at first desire to void,volume at first urge to void,volume of severe urge,volume at capacity,compliance,detrusor contractions,maximum urinary flow rate(Qmax),and postvoid residual(PVR).Results:A total of 106 men were included in this analysis,who had urinary retention with a Foley catheter or clean intermittent catheterization(cIc)at the time of *** baseline we found patients who voided had a detrusor pressure at Qmax(Pdet@Qmax)of 10.05±6.45 cmH2O compared to 16.78±12.17 cmH2O in those who did not void(p=0.071).Postoperatively,96(90.6%,mean age 76.9±26.2 years)of patients voided successfully while 10(9.4%,mean age 80.52±9.61 years)of patients remained in urinary *** baseline Qmax was 4.895±5.452 mL/s and 2.900±3.356 mL/s(p=0.087)in those who voided and did not *** was 319.23±330.62 mL in those who voided and 276.88263.27 mL(p=0.344)in those who did not *** UDS parameter predicted who would void postoperatively or improvements in ***:The patients with DU and BPE might be able to successfully void after undergoing PVP regardless of UDS *** men who voided had improved international prostate symptom score and QoL scores compared to baseline and these parameters were durable up to 12 months.

Persistence of herpetofauna in the urbanized rouge river ecosystem

Over 100 years, urbanization has taken place along the Rouge River watershed of southeast Michigan, USA. To determine the impact(s) of urbanization on herpetofauna, species richness and distribution in 122 wetlands along 13.0 km of the urbanized Rouge River watershed were monitored from early spring to late fall 2003. Data were mapped using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Both amphibian and reptile species richness were associated with wetland size and hydroperiod. The invasive plants Alliaria petiolata and Rhamnus cathartica were coincident with lower than average amphibian species richness. In spite of the number of herpetofauna being relatively low, this study identified hydroperiod and wetland size as important features that may contribute to amphibian and reptile species sustainability in this highly disturbed and fragmented urban landscape.

Insect(black soldier fly larvae) oil as a potential substitute for fish or soy oil in the fish meal-based diet of juvenile rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss)

Alternative sources of fish oil(FO)are one of the major problems in aquaculture;therefore,the goal of the present study was to examine insect(black soldier fly larvae)oil(BSLO)as a potential replacer of fish/s oy oil in juvenile rainbow trout(initial average weight of 32±0.15 g)*** diets were formulated wherein FO(control diet)was completely replaced with either soybean oil(SO)or BSLO,and an additional BSLO-based diet supplemented with 1.5%bile acid(BSLO+BA)were fed to the fish for 10 *** performance of the BSLO fed group was similar(P>0.05)to that of the FO and SO fed groups,howeve r,the fish fed BSLO+BA diet registered the lowest growth(Pces did not(P>0.05)affect the major nutrient content of whole-body,however,the fatty acid composition of the muscle and liver was influenced(Pcid detected in BSLO or BSLO+BA fed trout compared to the others(Pcant diffe rences were observed in eicosapentaenoic acid+docosahexaenoic acid(EPA+DHA)or total n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid(PUFA)content in muscle among the groups,whereas,the highest EPA:DHA and n-3:n-6 ratios were detected in the FO *** expression for fatty acid binding protein(fabp),fatty acid synthase(fas),and△5 desaturase in the liver was lower in FO(Pcreased superoxide dismutase(SOD)and catalase(cAT)activities compared to the other groups(Pconclusion,BSLO could serve as a substitute for FO and SO in rainbow trout diet without negatively impacting growth performance,whole-body composition and nutrient retention,and modulate the expression of fatty acid metabolism-related genes in rainbow trout.
