The novel Fe-N co-doped ordered mesoporous carbon with high catalytic activity in m-cresol removal was prepared by urea-assisted impregnation and simple pyrolysis *** the preparation of the Fe-NC catalyst,the complexation of N elements in urea could anchor Fe,and the formation of C3N4during urea pyrolysis could also prevent migration and aggregation of Fe species,which jointly improve the dispersion and stability of *** FeN4sites and highly dispersed Fe nanoparticles synergistically trigger the dual-site peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation for highly efficient m-cresol degradation,while the ordered mesoporous structure of the catalyst could improve the mass transfer rate of the catalytic process,which together promote catalytic degradation of m-cresol by PMS *** oxygen species (ROS) analytic experiments demonstrate that the system degrades m-cresol by free radical pathway mainly based on SO_(4)^(-)·and·OH,and partially based on·OH as the active components,and a possible PMS activation mechanism by 5Fe-50 for m-cresol degradation was *** study can provide theoretical guidance for the preparation of efficient and stable catalysts for the degradation of organic pollutants by activated PMS.

Background Culex pipiens pallens andCulex pipiens quinquefasciatus are the dominant species ofCulex mosquitoes in China and important disease vectors. Long-term use of insecticides can cause mutations in the voltage-gated sodium channel (vgsc) gene of mosquitoes, but little is known about the current status and evolutionary origins ofvgsc gene in different geographic populations. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the current status ofvgsc genes inCx. p. pallens andCx. p. quinquefasciatus in China and to investigate the evolutionary inheritance of neighboring downstream introns of thevgsc gene to determine the impact of insecticides on long-term *** Sampling was conducted from July to September 2021 in representative habitats of 22 provincial-level administrative divisions in China. Genomic DNA was extracted from 1308 mosquitoes, the IIS6 fragment of thevgsc gene on the nerve cell membrane was amplified using polymerase chain reaction, and the sequence was used to evaluate allele frequency and knockdown resistance (kdr) frequency. MEGA 11 was used to construct neighborjoining (NJ) tree. PopART was used to build a TCS *** There were 6 alleles and 6 genotypes at the L1014 locus, which included the wild-type alleles TTA/L and CTA/L and the mutant alleles TTT/F, TTC/F, TCT/S and TCA/S. The geographic populations with akdr frequency less than 20.00% were mainly concentrated in the regions north of 38° N, and the geographic populations with akdr frequency greater than 80.00% were concentrated in the regions south of 30° *** frequency increased with decreasing latitude. Two-dimensional hafnium-based semiconductors and their heterostructures with native oxides have been shown unique physical properties and potential electronic and optoelectronic ***,the scalable synthesis methods for ultrathin layered hafnium-based semiconductor laterally epitaxy growth and its heterostructure are still restricted,also for the understanding of its formation ***,we report the stable sublimation of alkali halide vapor assisted synthesis strategy for high-quality 2D HfSe_(2) nanosheets via chemical vapor ***-crystalline ultrathin 2D HfSe_(2) nanosheets were systematically grown by tuning the growth parameters,reaching the lateral size of 6‒40μm and the thickness down to 4.5 *** scalable amorphous HfO_(2)and HfSe_(2)heterostructures were achieved by the controllable oxidation,which benefited from the approximate zero Gibbs free energy of unstable 2D HfSe_(2) *** crystal structure,elemental,and time dependent Raman characterization were carried out to understand surface precipitated Se atoms and the formation of amorphous Hf−O bonds,confirming the slow surface oxidation and lattice incorporation of oxygen *** relatively smooth surface roughness and electrical potential change of HfO_(2)−HfSe_(2) heterostructures indicate the excellent interface quality,which helps obtain the high performance memristor with high on/off ratio of 105 and long retention period over 9000 *** work introduces a new vapor catalysts strategy for the synthesis of lateral 2D HfSe_(2) nanosheets,also providing the scalable oxidation of the Hf-based heterostructures for 2D electronic devices.

A pair of coumarin-based polycyclic meroterpenoid enantiomers(+)/(-)-gerbeloid A[(+)-1a and(-)-1b]were isolated from the medicinal plant Gerbera piloselloides,which have a unique caged oxatricyclo[4.***.2.0^(3,8)]decene *** planar and three-dimensional structures were exhaustively characterized by comprehensive spectroscopic data and X-ray diffraction *** by the hypothetical biosynthetic pathway,the biomimetic synthesis of racemic 1 was achieved using 4-hydroxy-5-methylcoumarin and citral as the starting material via oxa-6πelectrocyclization and intramolecular[2+2]***,the results of the biological activity assay demonstrated that both(+)-1a and(-)-1b exhibited potent lipid-lowering effects in 3T3-L1 adipocytes and the high-fat diet zebrafish ***,the lipid-lowering activity of(+)-1a is better than that of(-)-1b at the same concentration,and molecular mechanism study has shown that(+)-1a and(-)-1b impairs adipocyte differentiation and stimulate lipolysis by regulating C/EBPα/PPARγsignaling and Perilipin signaling in vitro and in *** findings provide a promising drug model molecule for the treatment of obesity.

Emerging evidence indicates that sleep deprivation(SD)can lead to Alzheimer’s disease(AD)-related pathological changes and cognitive ***,the underlying mechanisms remain *** the present study,we identified the existence of a microbiota-gut-brain axis in cognitive deficits resulting from chronic SD and revealed a potential pathway by which gut microbiota affects cognitive functioning in chronic *** findings demonstrated that chronic SD in mice not only led to cognitive decline but also induced gut microbiota dysbiosis,elevated NLRP3 inflammasome expression,GSK-3βactivation,autophagy dysfunction,and tau hyperphosphorylation in the *** with the“SD microbiota”replicated the pathological and behavioral abnormalities observed in chronic sleep-deprived ***,both the deletion of NLRP3 in NLRP3-/-mice and specific knockdown of NLRP3 in the hippocampus restored autophagic flux,suppressed tau hyperphosphorylation,and ameliorated cognitive deficits induced by chronic SD,while GSK-3βactivity was not regulated by the NLRP3 inflammasome in chronic ***,deletion of NLRP3 reversed NLRP3 inflammasome activation,autophagy deficits,and tau hyperphosphorylation induced by GSK-3βactivation in primary hippocampal neurons,suggesting that GSK-3β,as a regulator of NLRP3-mediated autophagy dysfunction,plays a significant role in promoting tau ***,gut microbiota dysbiosis was identified as a contributor to chronic SD-induced tau pathology via NLRP3-mediated autophagy dysfunction,ultimately leading to cognitive ***,these findings highlight GSK-3βas a regulator of NLRP3-mediated autophagy dysfunction,playing a critical role in promoting tau hyperphosphorylation.

This work uses thermal polymerization of urea nitrate, oxyacetic acid and urea as the raw material to prepare ultra-thin porous carbon nitride with carbon defects and C-O band（OA-UN-CN）. Density functional theory（DFT） calculations showed OA-UN-CN had narrower band gap,faster electron transport and a new internal construction electric field. Additionally, the prepared OA-UN-CN significantly enhanced photocatalytic activation of peroxymonosulfate（PMS） due to enhanced light absorption performance and faster electron overflow. As the result, the OA-UN-CN/PMS could entirely degrade bisphenol A（BPA） within 30 min, where the photodegradation rate was 81.8 and 7.9 times higher than that of g-C3N4and OA-UN-CN, respectively. Beyond, the OA-UN-CN/PMS could likewise degrade other bisphenol pollutants and sodium lignosulfonate efficiently. We suggested possible photocatalytic degradation pathways accordingly and explored the toxicity of its degradation products. This work provides a new idea on the development of advanced photocatalytic oxidation processes for the treatment of bisphenol pollutants and lignin derivatives, via a metal-free photothermal-catalyst.

In order to solve the mixed nonlinear multi-objective optimization problem of discrete/continuous variables of the spherical transducer under the multi-constraint conditions, the electrical-mechanical-acoustic model of the spherical transducer is built based on the equivalent circuit theory. The multi-objective optimization mathematical model of the spherical transducer is constructed. The transmitting sound level, input electric power and mass are taken as the optimization objective functions, and the material property parameters, structural size parameters, frequency range and input voltage are taken as the design variables. Besides, the physical properties such as piezoelectric ceramic depolarization,structural strength limit, power capacity and the value of design variables are taken as constraints. The multi-objective optimization design of the spherical transducer is carried out by using the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II(NSGA-II), and the Pareto front solution set is obtained. The effectiveness of the optimization results is verified by experiments. The results show that the transducer prototype designed and manufactured by the multi-objective optimization method reduces the input power by 32.8% and the mass by 27.4% under the premise of meeting the requirements of the transmitting sound level. The results are of great value to the optimization design of transmitting transducer under severe conditions.
