Nomogram prediction of vessels encapsulating tumor clusters in small hepatocellular carcinoma≤3 cm based on enhanced magnetic resonance imaging

BACKGROUND Vessels encapsulating tumor clusters(VETC)represent a recently discovered vascular pattern associated with novel metastasis mechanisms in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,it seems that no one have focused on predicting VETC status in small HCC(sHCC).This study aimed to develop a new nomogram for predicting VETC positivity using preoperative clinical data and image features in sHCC(≤3 cm)*** To construct a nomogram that combines preoperative clinical parameters and image features to predict patterns of VETC and evaluate the prognosis of sHCC *** A total of 309 patients with sHCC,who underwent segmental resection and had their VETC status confirmed,were included in the *** patients were recruited from three different hospitals:Hospital 1 contributed 177 patients for the training set,Hospital 2 provided 78 patients for the test set,and Hospital 3 provided 54 patients for the validation *** predictors of VETC were identified through univariate and multivariate logistic *** independent predictors were then used to construct a VETC prediction model for *** model’s performance was evaluated using the area under the curve(AUC),calibration curve,and clinical decision ***,Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was performed to confirm whether the predicted VETC status by the model is associated with early recurrence,just as it is with the actual VETC status and early *** Alpha-fetoprotein_lg10,carbohydrate antigen 199,irregular shape,non-smooth margin,and arterial peritumoral enhancement were identified as independent predictors of *** model incorporating these predictors demonstrated strong predictive *** AUC was 0.811 for the training set,0.800 for the test set,and 0.791 for the validation *** calibration curve indicated that the predicted probability was consistent with the actual VETC status in all three ***,the decision curve analysis demonstr

The maintenance of cellular protein homeostasis(proteostasis) is essential for all living organisms and typically requires molecular *** Bcl-2-associated athanogene(BAG) family is a conserved group of co-chaperones that bind to the heat shock protein 70(HSP70) through their Cterminal BAG domain(BD).BAGs help maintain proteostasis in animals,plants,and ***,we reported an unconventional BAG subfamily exclusively found in *** BAGs features an atypical N-terminal BD with a short and oomycete-specific α1 helix(α1’),as well as a unique C-terminal small heat shock protein(sHSP) *** the oomyc;ete pathogen Phytophthora sojae,both BD-α1’ and sHSP domains are required for PsBAG function in cyst germination,pathogenicity,and unfolded protein response(UPR) assisting in 26 S proteasome-mediated degradation of misfolded *** form homo-and heterodimers through their unique BD-α1’ to function properly,with no recruitment of HSP70 s to form the common BAG-HSP70 complex found in other *** study highlights a novel and oomycete-exclusive proteostasis mechanism mediated by atypical BAGs,which provides a potential target for oomycete disease control.

Cloud Microphysical Characteristics of Typhoon Meranti(2016)during Its Rapid Intensification:Model Validation and SST Sensitivity Experiments

Cloud microphysics plays an important role in determining the intensity and precipitation of tropical cyclones(TCs).In this study,a high-resolution numerical simulation by WRF(version 4.2)of Typhoon Meranti(2016)during its rapid intensification(RI)period was conducted and validated by multi-source observations including Cloud-Sat and Global Precipitation Mission satellite *** snow and ice particles content were found to increase most rapidly compared with other hydrometeors during the RI *** all hydrometeors continued to *** graupel content only increased in the initial RI stage,and then decreased afterwards due to precipitation during the RI *** addition,sea surface temperature(SST)sensitivity experiments showed that,although the intensity of the TC increased with a higher SST,not all hydrometeors *** graupel content continued to increase with the increase in SST,mainly due to the accumulation of more lower-temperature supercooled water vapor at the corresponding *** content of snow decreased with the increase in SST because stronger vertical motion at the corresponding height affected the aggregation of ice crystals.

The unloading effect of the excavation of deep roadways has been considerably studied, but most research methods have been limited to numerical simulations and field measurements. Only a few have adopted experimental methods for similar simulations. On the basis of the theory of mechanics,the testing system is designed considering initial geostress and dynamic unloading. The system includes an impact unloading gear and in-situ stress loading equipment, and a designed three-link structure and the impact hammer can effectively realize the dynamic excavation of ***, a cyclic excavation similar simulation experiment on a deep roadway is conducted in a laboratory. The testing system and the relevant monitoring facilities are utilized, and the unloading effect inside the surrounding rock under the cyclic dynamic excavation is studied. Results show that the cyclic dynamic excavation causes significant unloading only in the nearby rock mass, and the unloading indicators show nonlinear ***, when the lateral pressure coefficient is 1.2,the damage is concentrated on both roadsides due to the excavation unloading. Meanwhile, the damage gradually decays as the span increases.

Tough elastomers and gels have garnered broad research interest due to their wide-ranging potential ***,during the loading and unloading cycles,a clear stress softening behavior can be observed in many material systems,which is also named as the Mullins *** this work,we aim to provide a complete review of the Mullins effect in soft yet tough materials,specifically focusing on nanocomposite gels,double-network hydrogels,and multi-network *** first revisit the experimental observations for these soft *** then discuss the recent developments of constitutive models,emphasizing novel developments in the damage mechanisms or network *** phenomenological models will also be briefly *** attention is then placed on the anisotropic and multiaxial modeling *** is demonstrated that most of the existing models fail to accurately predict the multiaxial data,posing a significant challenge for developing future anisotropic models tailored for tough gels and elastomers.

A study of the characteristics of the accumulative rock failure and its evolution byapplication of the group renormalization method were presented. 目的探索面向儿童群体的公共设施设计策略。方法儿童群体是一个特殊群体,他们的行为和心理需要得到社会和家庭的重视和科学引导。针对这样一个群体,公共设施领域也进行了一些针对性的尝试与完善,不少设计者开始在设计原则和表现形式上进行相互交流和探讨。从儿童公共设施入手,以实际情况为主要论点,分析不足,找到原因,应从受众对象出发,结合儿童的身心特点进行多方面的设计尝试,给出了几个方面的意见,包括基础的感官层面的照应、尺度的合宜以及更高层面的情感关照,并列出了具体的设计思路。结论从儿童的生理特点和行为模式出发,对其所使用的公共设施进行针对性设计,能够为儿童营造友好的成长环境,促进社会的和谐发展。

Study on stress distribution and failure criterion of the roof for the severely inclined coal seam under long wall working

By turning to the theory of elastic thin plates, a mechanical model of the main roof breaking for severely inclined seam under long wall working was esbalished, in which formulaes were deduced for the calculation of the stress distribution. When the main roof stress distribution was characterized, the failure form of the roof in the long wall coal seam under work was given with the failure criterion deduced. The deduced failure criterion was then applied to the No.3232(3) face of the Lizuizi Coal Mine; the first pressure for the working face was accurately predicted. Results of the field application show that the main roof of the severely inclined coal seam under long wall working breaks in the O-X pattern, which is basically in accordance with the reality.

以准确估计舰船通信网络流量为研究核心,提出基于大数据驱动与分析的舰船通信网络流量智能估计方法。该方法以大数据驱动和分析领域中的经验模态分解、卷积神经网络为技术核心,使用基于改进集合经验模态分解的舰船通信网络信号降噪方法,去除舰船通信网络信号中噪声;构建去噪后舰船通信网络信号中的流量时间序列图,凸显通信网络流量在各个时间段的变化特征之后,将舰船通信网络流量时间序列图中的时间序列,作为基于卷积神经网络的网络流量预测方法的预测样本,提取舰船通信网络细节信号的时间序列,估计流量的趋势信息与时间信息,实现舰船通信网络流量智能估计。经测试:该方法对舰船通信网络流量智能估计后,估计结果与实际流量基本一致。
