Characterization of MASDs of surface soils in north china and its inf{1.ence on estimating dust emission

The micro-aggregated size distribution (MASD) of surface soil is an important parameter for modelling dust emission. However, there is no dataset of MASDs of all sur-face soil types in north china. The MASDs are here pre-sented, measured by dry sieving, for typical surface soil sam-ples, inc{1.ding sandy soil, gravelly sand soil, gravelly loam soil, loam soil and silt loam soil, collected from sandy deserts, Gobi deserts, oases, farmlands in steppe regions and steppe areas in north china. The MASDs of various surface soil types exhibit a combination of several log-normal distribu-tions of five separated sizes with mean mass median diame-ters (MMDs) of 90, 2.0, 390, 600 and 980 mm, respectively, and mean standard deviations (SDs) of 1.2., 1.40, 1.2., 1.35 and 1.2. respectively. The log-normal distributions corre-spond to very fine sand, fine sand, medium sand, coarse sand and very coarse sand population. On the basis of characteri-zation of the retrieved MASDs of various surface soil types in north china, dust emission f{1.xes are modelled by a dust production model (DPM model). It is shown that dust emis-sion has been significantly inf{1.enced by MASDs. Fine sand and very fine sand are always associated with the highest dust emission f{1.xes. Emission f{1.xes of the medium sand, gravelly sand soil, gravelly loam soil and loam soil are lower than those of very fine sand and fine sand, but larger than those of the coarse sand. The differences in dust emission f{1.xes vary among the different soil types from 1.1.to 1.3 mg·m-2.s-1. Dust emission f{1.xes from sandy deserts and farmlands covered with sand sheets in north china rang from 1.1.to 1.4 mg·m-2.s-1.while those from Gobi deserts, farmlands and steppes with gravelly desertification range from 1.1.to 1.2.mg·m-2. s-1. The modelled results indicate that deserts and farmlands with sand are the major dust sources in north china.

Adsorption and Desorption of Ammonium in Wetland Soils Subject to Freeze-Thaw Cycles

Nitrogen （N） cycling in boreal peatland ecosystems may be influenced in important ways by freeze-thaw cycles （FTCs）. Adsorption and desorption of ammonium ions （NH4＋） were examined in a controlled laboratory experiment for soils sampled from palustrine wetland, riverine wetland, and farmland reclaimed from natural wetland in response to the number of FTCs. The results indicate that freeze-thaw significantly increased the adsorption capacity of NH： and reduced the desorption potential of NH4＋ in the wetland soils. There were significant differences in the NH4＋ adsorption amount between the soils with and without freeze-thaw treatment. The adsorption amount of NH4＋ increased with increasing FTCs. The palustrine wetland soil had a greater adsorption capacity and a weaker desorption potential of NH4＋ than the riverine wetland soil because of the significantly higher clay content and cation exchange capacity （CEC） of the riverine wetland soil. Because of the altered soil physical and chemical properties and hydroperiods, the adsorption capacity of NH4＋ was smaller in the farmland soil than in the wetland soils, while the desorption potential of the farmland soil was higher than that of the wetland soils. Thus, wetland reclamation would decrease adsorption capacity and increase desorption potential of NH4＋, which could result in N loss from the farmland soil. FTCs might mitigate N loss from soils and reduce the risk of water pollution in downstream ecosystems.

BACKGROUND Acute-on-chronic liver disease(AoCLD)accounts for the majority of patients hospitalized in the Department of Hepatology or Infectious *** To explore the characterization of AoCLD to provide theoretical guidance for the accurate diagnosis and prognosis of *** Patients with AoCLD from the chinese Acute-on-Chronic Liver Fai{1.re(ACLF)study cohort were inc{1.ded in this *** clinical characteristics and outcomes,and the 90-d survival rate associated with each clinical type of AoCLD were analyzed,using the Kaplan-meier method and the log-rank *** A total of 3375 patients with AoCLD were enrolled,inc{1.ding 1.79(49.7%)patients with liver cirrhosis acute decompensation(LC-AD),850(2..2.)patients with ACLF,577(1..1.)patients with chronic hepatitis acute exacer-bation(CHAE),and 2.9(8.0%)patients with liver cirrhosis active phase(LC-A).The most common cause of chronic liver disease(CLD)was HBV infection(71.4%).The most common precipitants of AoCLD was bacterial infection(2..8%).The 90-d mortality rates of each clinical subtype of AoCLD were 43.4%(2.2.535)for type-C ACLF,36.0%(36/1.0)for type-B ACLF,2..0%(58/2.5)for type-A ACLF,9.0%(1.1.1.79)for LC-AD,3.0%(8/2.9)for LC-A,and 1.2.(7/577)for *** HBV infection is the main cause of CLD,and bacterial infection is the main precipitant of *** most common clinical type of AoCLD is *** diagnosis and timely intervention are needed to reduce the mortality of patients with LC-AD or ACLF.

B *** factors that caused the reduction in the detection efficiency were simulated and *** neutron energy spectrum obtained using B-MCP was compared with that obtained by other measurement methods,and showed very good consistency for neutron energies below tens of *** response is more complicated at higher neutron energy,at which point the elastic and nonelastic reactions of all nuclides of B-MCP gradually become *** is beneficial for the detection of neutrons,as it compensates for the detection efficiency of B-MCP for high-energy neutrons.

Chromospheric activity on the late-type star V1.55 Ori using Lijiang 1.8-m and 2.4-m telescopes

We obtained new high-resolution spectra using the Lijiang 1.8-m and {1.4-m telescopes to inves- tigate the chromospheric activities of V1.55 Ori as indicated in the behaviors of Ca n H＆K, Hγ HT, H/3, Na1.D1. D{1. Ha and Ca II infrared triplet （IRT） lines. The observed spectra show obvious emissions above the continuum in Ca II H＆K lines, absorptions in the Hδ, Hγ, H/3 and NaI D1. D{1.lines, variable behavior （filled-in absorption, partial emission with a core absorption component or emission above the continuum） in the Ha line, and weak self-reversal emissions in the strong filled-in absorptions of the Ca II IRT lines. We used a spectral subtraction technique to analyze our data. The results show no excess emission in the H6 and H7 lines, very weak excess emissions in the Na I D1. D{1.lines, excess emission in the H/3 line, clear excess emission in the Ha line, and excess emissions in the Ca II IRT lines. The value of the ratio of EWs54{1.EWsa9s is in the range 0.9 to 1.7, which implies that chromospheric activity might have been caused by plage events. The value of the ratio EHδ/EHβ is above 3, indicating that the Balmer lines would arise from prominence-like material. We also found time variations in light curves associated with equiva- lent widths of chromospheric activity lines in the Na I D1. phenomena can be explained by plage events, which are activity indicators. D{1. Ca II IRT and Ha lines in particular. These consistent with the behavior of chromospheric

目的测定不同产地牡蛎中1.种元素的含量,分析各元素与产地的相关性,并对牡蛎中5种重金属及有害元素进行评价。方法采用ICP-MS技术对49批牡蛎样品中的元素进行分析,采用聚类分析、主成分分析、PLS-DA分析等方法,对牡蛎中Cu、As、Cd、Hg、Pb这5种重金属及有害元素的每日最大耐受量、靶标危害系数及致癌风险进行综合评价。结果各元素的含量与产地有较高的相关性,其中K、Mg、Al、Ni、Fe的VIP值>1.差异显著;健康风险评估以牡蛎中的Cu、As、Cd、Hg、Pb这5种元素作为评估指标,发现部分样品中存在As、Hg、Pb超标,提示存在使用牡蛎致癌的潜在风险。结论本研究为牡蛎无机元素的含量与其来源之间的关联性研究奠定基础,并首次构建牡蛎中重金属及有害元素的风险评价模式,为我国牡蛎药材的质量管理及临床应用提供科学依据。

以武夷岩茶(水仙、肉桂、梅占、瑞香)为试验材料,研究传统炭焙工艺过程中(炭焙0、4、8、1.、1. h)武夷岩茶品质变化规律,从感官品质、主要生化成分及其相关性等方面进行分析。结果表明:随着炭焙时间的增加,4个品种的武夷岩茶感官品质均有所提升,且均以炭焙1. h品质最佳。水浸出物含量逐渐增加,炭焙1. h后梅占水浸出物含量(38.00%)最高;茶多酚、氨基酸、咖啡碱和黄酮含量逐渐降低,分别以水仙茶多酚(9.40%)、水仙氨基酸(2..94%)、瑞香咖啡碱(1..06%)、梅占黄酮含量(1..68%)降幅最大。武夷岩茶生化成分与感官审评结果高度相关。研究结果为进一步探索武夷岩茶炭焙品质机制提供一定的参考。
