A control algorithm for improving vehicle handling was proposed by applying right angle to the steering wheel,based on the nonlinear adaptive optimal control(NAOC).A nonlinear 4-DOF model was initially developed,then it was simplified to a 2-DOF model with reasonable assumptions to design observer and optimal *** a simplified model was developed for steering *** numerical simulations were carried out using vehicle parameters for standard maneuvers in dry and wet road ***,the hardware in the loop method was implemented to prove the controller ability in realistic *** results obviously show the effectiveness of NAOC on vehicle handling and reveal that the proposed controller can significantly improve vehicle handling during severe maneuvers.

Porosity parameters are one of the structural properties of the extracellular microenvironment that have been shown to have a great impact on the cellular phenotype and various biological activities such as diffusion of fluid,initial protein adsorption,permeability,cell penetration and migration,ECM deposition,angiogenesis,and rate and pattern of new tissue *** heterogeneity of the study protocols and research methodologies do not allow reliable meta-analysis for definite *** such,despite the huge available literature,no generally accepted consensus is defined for the porosity requirements of specific tissue engineering ***,based on the biomimetic approach,the biological substitutes should replicate the 3D local microenvironment of the recipient site with matching porosity parameters to best support local cells during tissue ***,the porosity of biomaterials should mimic the porosity of the substituting natural tissue and match the clinical *** analysis of the impact of architectures(i.e.,porosity)on biophysical,biochemical,and biological behaviors will support designing smart biomaterials with customized architectural and functional properties that are patient and defect site-specific.

A substantial amount of nanosized hydroxyapatite（HAp） was tried to incorporate into the electrospun polyhydroxybutyrate（PHB）, and electrospinning parameters were optimized to fabricate defect-free PHB/HAp fibers with the smallest possible diameter. According to the results, while the needle inner diameter could not be an effective factor for controlling the fiber morphology, the fiber diameter was observed to increase with increasing the applied voltage and solution concentration. More importantly, it was found that nanoparticles could be successfully encapsulated and distributed inside the ultrafine fibers fabricated under relatively optimum conditions. In vitro cell assays demonstrated that while preosteoblasts had high cell viability and cell spreading on the fibrous nanohybrids, cell metabolic activity can also increase with increasing incubation time. Accordingly, encapsulation of HAp nanoparticles within the PHB in the fibrous form may be promising for bone regeneration applications.

Dynamic recrystallization and precipitation in a high manganese austenitic stainless steel were investigated by hot compression tests over temperatures of 950-1150~C at strain rates of 0.001 s-1-1 s-1. All the flow curves within the studied deformation regimes were typ- ical of dynamic recrystallization. A window was constructed to determine the value of apparent activation energy as a function of strain rate and deformation temperature. The kinetics of dynamic recrystallization was analyzed using the Avrami kinetics equation. A range of apparent activation energy for hot deformation from 303 kJ/mol to 477 kJ/mol is obtained at different deformation regimes. Microscopic characterization confirms that under a certain deformation condition （medium Zener-Hollomon parameter （Z） values）, dynamic recrystalliza- tion appears at first, but large particles can not inhibit the recrystallization. At low or high Z values, dynamic recrystallization may occur be- fore dynamic precipitation and proceeds faster. In both cases, secondary phase precipitation is observed along prior austenite grain bounda- ries. Stress relaxation tests at the same deformation temperatures also confirm the possibility of dynamic precipitation. Unexpectedly, the Avrami＇s exponent value increases with the increase of Z value. It is associated with the priority of dynamic recrystallization to dynamic precipitation at higher Z values.

The behavior of a water molecule entering carbon nanotubes （CNTs） is stud- ied. The Lennaxd-Jones potential function together with the continuum approximation is used to obtain the van der Waals interaction between a single-walled CNT （SWCNT） and a single water molecule. Three orientations are chosen for the water molecule as the center of mass is on the axis of nanotube. Extensive studies on the variations of force, energy, and velocity distributions axe performed by vaxying the nanotube radius and the orientations of the water molecule. The force and energy distributions are validated by those obtained from molecular dynamics （MD） simulations. The acceptance radius of the nanotube for sucking the water molecule inside is derived, in which the limit of the radius is specified so that the nanotube is favorable to absorb the water molecule. The velocities of a single water molecule entering CNTs axe calculated and the maximum entrance and the interior velocity for different orientations axe assigned and compared.

NaY zeolite functionalized by sulfamic acid/Cu（OAc）_2[NaY/SA/Cu（Ⅱ）] was synthesized and used as a new,efficient and recyclable catalyst for preparation of formamides. This novel organic-inorganic hybrid catalyst was characterized by several techniques such as FT-IR, XRD, SEM, EDX and TG ***, easy procedure, excellent yields, very short reaction times, solvent-free and mild reaction conditions are some benefits of this new protocol.

Motivated by the converse Lyapunov technique for investigating converse results of semistable switched systems in control theory,this paper utilizes a constructive induction method to identify a cost function for performance gauge of an average,multi-cue multi-choice(MCMC),cognitive decision making model over a switching time *** shows that such a constructive cost function can be evaluated through an abstract energy called Lyapunov function at initial ***,the performance gauge problem for the average MCMC model becomes the issue of finding such a Lyapunov function,leading to a possible way for designing corresponding computational algorithms via iterative methods such as adaptive dynamic *** order to reach this goal,a series of technical results are presented for the construction of such a Lyapunov function and its mathematical properties are discussed in ***,a major result of guaranteeing the existence of such a Lyapunov function is rigorously proved.
