Objective:To investigate the antioxidant,antimicrobial,cytotoxic and thrombolytic property of the fruits and leaves of Spondias dulcis(***).Methods:Methanolic extracts of fruits and leaves of *** were partitioned with chloroform and *** antioxidant potential of the crude extract and partitioned fractions were evaluated in terms of total phenolic content,total flavonoid content,DPPH radical scavenging potential,reducing potential and total antioxidant capacity by specific standard *** antimicrobial activity was evaluated using disc diffusion *** cytotoxicity was evaluated by using brine shrimp lethality bioassay and compared with vincristine *** thrombolytic activity was compared with ***:The methanolic fruit extract exhibited the highest phenolic content,flavonoid content and antioxidant capacity,among the other extracts,with the highest DPPH radical scavenging activity at a concentration of 10μg/mL(IC_(50):1.91μg/mL)and maximum reducing power at a concentration of 100μg/ml.(EC_(50):3.58μg/mL).Though all extract showed moderate antimicrobial activity against the bacterial strains,weak or no activity against *** range of LC_(50)value of all extracts was 1.335-14.057μg/mL which was far lower than the cut off index for *** extracts exhibited statistically significant(P<0.001)thrombolytic ***:Our study suggested that *** exhibits antimicrobial activities against a wide variety of strains while it possesses significant antioxidant,cytotoxic and thrombolytic aclivily.

Improving organizational performance can be achieved through business process redesign (BPR). When it comes to modern work practices, organizations must often redesign their processes to keep up. This is where enterprise software comes in, offering a common data infrastructure that enables different parts of the organization to access all necessary financial data. The architecture of network accounting business process is divided into three layers. The core layer lies in the enterprise LAN that it can integrate six business processes information into one unity of financial information and non-financial information, including purchasing, inventory, production, sales, finance and customer service, and it can generate flexibly a variety of accounting statements to meet fully the information users’ demands by providing more complete and more valuable related information. The second layer lies in Intranet among enterprises based on the core layer that it can support the link of business processes and the inter-sharing of information among node enterprises of SCM and other external enterprises. The third layer lies in Internet based on the second layer that it can fit society, enterprise and individual together, the specific lays the solid foundation of business collaboration, remote management, online management and centralized management. The operating mechanisms of the network accounting business processes are as follows. When the business event occurs, the probe can get the event information in real-time and the result is stored in the database. Meanwhile, the drive controller can control the business events in real-time by gaining control criteria and standards from database. In case the standard is exceeded, the event is not allowed to occur. Enterprise’ business staff or external personnel can output automatically the required results through report tools if they had the reading authority. Background: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), the most common paediatric malignancy, is a heterogeneous hematologic disease. ALL patients may present with isolated and persistent osteo-articular complaints, lower incidence of hepatomegaly, splenomegaly or lymphadenopathy without clear laboratory features, and misdiagnosed as systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA). Methods: This was a single center cross sectional study over a period of 4 years. Clinic laboratory profiles of 39 ALL children were compared with 39 age and sex-matched sJIA cases. Result: Among 39 ALL patients 89.7% were initially misdiagnosed as sJIA upon clinical presentation. Majority (66.7%) of ALL patients had oligo-articular joint involvement. In sJIA, small joints of the hands were most commonly involved. The total WBC count was significantly higher in ALL patients (p-value 0.0065). CRP and LDH values between the two groups showed significant differences (p-value 0.00006 and 0.00001 respectively). Conclusion: The presentation of leukemia with arthralgia or arthritis makes the diagnosis difficult for the physicians. The diagnosis of sJIA must be made with caution keeping the possibility of haematological malignancy in mind.

Objective:To examine the determinants of emergency contraceptive pill use in ***:Data for this cross-sectional study came from 2017-2018 Bangladesh Demographic and Health *** of 906 reproductive age women who were potential candidates for using emergency contraceptive pill were analysed in this *** were analysed using univariate and multivariate *** binary logistic regression was employed as multivariate ***:Only 10.9%candidates were found to ever use emergency contraceptive *** odds of using emergency contraceptive pill for women visited by family planning field worker was significantly higher than that for those who were not visited by family planning field worker[odds ratio(OR)1.94;95%confidence interval(CI)1.19–3.17;P=0.008],while the odds of using emergency contraceptive pill for women with high socioeconomic status was higher than that for those with low socioeconomic status(OR 3.10;95%CI 1.61–5.97;P=0.001).Additionally,having some media access was linked to an increase in the odds of using emergency contraceptive pill(OR 3.01;95%CI 1.33–6.83;P=0.008).Women empowerment related factors did not show any significant effect on emergency contraceptive pill ***:The findings indicate that family planning programme has a great opportunity of playing an important role in increasing emergency contraceptive pill use in Bangladesh by increasing the knowledge and awareness of women about emergency contraceptive pill.

Phosphorus(P)is a critical nutrient that plays an essential role in improving soil fertility for optimum plant growth and *** is one of the most deficient macro-nutrients in agricultural soils after nitrogen and is considered inadequate for plant growth and *** P availability in soils,the farmers are applying huge amounts of synthetic P fertilizers that adversely affect the wider environment,groundwater,soil fertility and microbial *** beneficial microbes are known to release and supply soluble P for improving growth and yield of a variety of plants in a sustainable manner in P deficient ***,inoculation of these microbes,including arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)and phosphate solubilizing bacteria(PSB)to soil to enhance crop production without harming the environment,is an alternative approach to chemical *** combined role of AMF and PSB in P solubilization is not well understood and the application and mode of action of these microbial groups are often naive due to variation in the ***,the current review article would develop a better understanding of the interactive role and mechanisms of AMF and PSB in improving P availability from both organic and inorganic sources in a sustainable crop production ***,the current review would loop out further avenues for researchers interested to commercially produce effective AMF and PSB-based biofertilizers for sustainable management of phosphorus over a wide range of agricultural crops worldwide.

Performance Improvement of CIGS Solar Cell: A Simulation Approach by SCAPS-1D

Thin-film solar cells possess the distinct advantage of being cost-effective and relatively simple to manufacture. Nevertheless, it is of utmost importance to enhance their overall performance. In this research work, copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS)-based ultra-thin solar cell (SC) configuration (Ag/ZnO/ZnSe/CIGS/Si/Ni) has been designed and examined using SCAPS-1D. The numerical calculations revealed that this new design resulted in a substantial improvement in SC performance. This study explores the utilization of two absorber layers, CIGS and Si, both with a total of 2 μm thickness, to enhance device performance while reducing material costs, observing an increase in key SC parameters as the Si absorber layer thickness is increased, reaching a maximum efficiency of 29.13% when CIGS and Si thicknesses are set at 0.4 μm and 1.6 μm, respectively with doping absorber doping density of 1014 cm-3. Furthermore, we analyze the impact of variation in absorber and buffer layer thickness, as well as doping concentration, surface recombination velocity (SRV), electron affinity, series-shunt resistance, and temperature, on optimized CIGS SC parameters such as short-circuit current density (JSC), open circuit voltage (VOC), fill factor (FF), and power conversion efficiency (PCE). The findings yielded by the investigation offer significant elucidation regarding the fabrication of economically viable and highly efficient non-hazardous CIGS ultra-thin SC.

Removal of phenol by activated carbons prepared from palm oil mill effluent sludge

The study was attempted to produce activated carbons from palm oil mill effluent （POME） sludge. The adsorption capacity of the activated carbons produced was evaluated in aqueous solution of phenol. Two types of activation were followed, namely, thermal activation at 300, 500 and 800%, and physical activation at 150% （boiling treatment）. A control （raw POME sludge） was used to compare the adsorption capacity of the activated carbons produced. The results indicated that the activation temperature of 800℃ showed maximum absorption capacity by the activated carbon （POME 800） in aqueous solution of phenol. Batch adsorption studies showed an equilibrium time of 6 h for the activated carbon of POME 800. It was observed that the adsorption capacity was higher at lower values ofpH （2--3） and higher value of initial concentration of phenol （200--300 mg/L）, The equilibrium data were fitted by the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms. The adsorption of phenol onto the activated carbon POME 800 was studied in terms of pseudo-first and second order kinetics to predict the rate constant and equilibrium capacity with the effect of initial phenol concentrations. The rate of adsorption was found to be better correlation for the pseudo-second order kinetics compared to the first order kinetics.

信息和通信技术(ICT)已在许多国家被广泛接受,以促进教学实践。在孟加拉国,信息通信技术也被引入教育系统的各个阶段。目前的研究集中在位于孟加拉国农村地区(西北部)的一所中学。本研究的目的是通过调查教师对将ICT融入其教学实践的有效性的信念、他们对应用ICT的感知技能和能力以及他们在农村中学实施ICT的挑战,了解ICT整合在农村中学的现状。教学。本研究采用WST模型来调查教师对ICT的整合。本研究使用定性案例研究设计来回答研究目标。研究发现,大多数教师对将ICT融入教学和学习实践抱有积极的信念,而少数教师也持消极信念。农村中学教师可以将一些特定的教育技术融入到他们的教学活动中。然而,他们也报告说他们对数字素养、计算机素养以及将这些工具和技术整合到课堂实践中的知识匮乏。由于他们对技术和技巧的了解不足,他们在ICT集成方面的能力和信心水平较低。除此之外,他们还面临着缺乏适当培训、基础设施差、网速差、技术费用和不平等、缺乏学校技术支持以及设备不可靠等挑战。
